HP: Let professors walk towards the light

Chapter 179 Regulus and Kreacher

"His choice killed him." Ron overturned the idea that Regulus was an unforgivable Death Eater. At least he saw the true face of the mysterious man. However, if he was just a pure-blood, he would die because of joining the Death Eaters. He felt it was a pity.

"By the way, I heard that Professor Snape took something of Regulus from Kreacher." Lupin suddenly changed the subject, bent down a little and said quietly.

"Professor Snape?"

It's connected! The three little ones looked at each other in surprise.

“……” Only Reina was looking at the sky, the ground, and the wall.

"If you want to know about Regulus, why not ask Kreacher? He's Black's loyal servant and it's still early for lunch." Lupin said to Harry, inspiring the adventurous spirit of several Gryffindors.

"But it's hard to find Kreacher." I don't know since when Kreacher rarely appears in everyone's sight. Harry didn't notice it at first, but now he realizes it.

"It's very rude to enter someone else's room casually." Lupin blinked and walked out the door.

"What does that mean?" Ron was still a little confused.

"Regulus' room! Kreacher is loyal to Regulus. If we break into Regulus' room, Kreacher will be very angry." Harry snapped his fingers, he understood.

"It's true that I'll be very angry." Hermione's eyes twitched. She didn't expect that Professor Lupin would come up with such an idea.

"If we just go in and use this as a disguise to force Kreacher out, it wouldn't be too offensive." Lena also agreed.

"Okay! Let's do it." Ron clenched his fist and waved.

?

"Regulus... is here." Harry led the others to a room on the top floor near the stairs, next to Sirius' room. There was a small, ornate sign hanging on the door, with the font on it being particularly neat:

"Without the special permission of Regulus (R) Attalus (A) Black (B)

Do Not Disturb

Harry pointed to the sign.

"Well, well, what's next..." Hermione looked at the two men.

"Your home, you go." Ron gave up the door handle.

"Okay, okay." Harry swallowed and turned the doorknob.

"It's locked." Harry shook his head in disappointment.

"Okay, make room for me." Hermione took out her wand and pointed it at the door lock.

"Araho Cave is open."

With a click, the door opened, and the room that came into view was clearly in the style of Slytherin. Emerald green and silver covered the entire room, including the doors and windows. Even the bed was painted with the Black family emblem and the list of purebreds. It was gorgeous and magnificent.

Although it was a bit dusty, it wasn't very messy.

"Get out! Don't come into the young master's room!" As expected, Kreacher appeared as soon as Harry stepped into the room, holding a tattered spoon in his hand and hitting Harry's leg hard.

"Oh! Wait, stop, Kreacher!" Harry jumped and dodged, and at the same time moved directly to the center of the room, and the others also followed into the room.

"It looks like a normal room." Ron looked around. He thought there would be some strange black magic props or something like that.

"How abnormal can it be? You're the one who always likes to make wild assumptions about others." Hermione pushed away Ron who was blocking her way to the door.

"I like this room very much." Lena followed Hermione at the end, but she noticed the style of the room when she opened the door.

"Because you are a Slytherin too." Although Hermione did not change her entire room into Gryffindor colors, she also decorated it with many things that symbolized Gryffindor.

"The combination of green and silver is very classy." Reina walked to the bed, where there were many newspaper clippings hastily pieced together.

"But the warmest colour is definitely red. So many of them...are they all Voldemort?" Hermione also noticed the newspapers.

"Get out! All of you get out, filthy scum, blood betrayers and mudbloods! You are not allowed to come into the young master's room!" On the other side of the room, Kreacher was still driving Harry and Ron away.

"Don't say those words again and don't call anyone like that!" Harry grabbed the big spoon in Kreacher's hand, bent down and stared into Kreacher's bloodshot eyes.

"Your current master is Sirius, and I am Sirius' godson. I want to ask you a question, and I command you to tell the truth!"

Kreacher was stunned for a moment, then bowed and replied, "Yes, the master's godson."

But his mouth was still moving, and there was no doubt that he was still saying those words, but no sound was made.

"I heard Snape took something from you that belonged to Regulus. What was it?" said Harry.

Kreacher remained still for a moment, even glancing secretly at the bed.

Hermione sat at the table, concentrating on reading the reports about Voldemort. Reina also had a piece in her hand, but she kept paying attention to Kreacher's movements. Seeing Kreacher looking over, Reina stretched out her index finger and shook it.

"Slytherin's locket is something the young master left for Kreacher." Kreacher stood up straight.

"Why did Snape take that thing? Did you give it to him voluntarily?" Ron asked.

"Destroy it. He can destroy it, so Kreacher gave it to him."

"Destroyed? Doesn't that belong to Regulus?" Ron looked at Harry, hoping to get confirmation.

"Because Kreacher did not complete his master's orders, Kreacher could not do it." Kreacher lowered his head again and began to pound the floor.

"Stop!" Harry stopped.

"I think I understand a little bit." Hermione finally put down the newspapers and walked towards Harry.

"Those clippings are all about Voldemort. It can be seen that Regulus was very obsessed with Voldemort before. He did join the Death Eaters, but he regretted it. I don't think he just wanted to escape. He must also hope to cause some trouble for Voldemort." Hermione analyzed.

"Slytherin's locket can't belong to Regulus. It belongs to Slytherin, just like the sword of Gryffindor." Reina also said to Harry.

"I know. Dumbledore told me, Kreacher. Where did Regulus get the locket? Why did you want to destroy it? Tell us everything you know about Regulus and the locket." Harry suddenly thought of the Horcrux and had a guess in his mind.

Kreacher sat on the ground, his voice a little suppressed but still very smooth.

"Master Regulus is a well-educated and good boy. He is not like Master Sirius who would make the mistress angry. Master Regulus respects the Black family name and the glory of pure blood. He always talks about the Dark Lord. At the age of 16, he joined the Dark Lord's group very proudly. He is very happy, and Kreacher is also very happy..." Kreacher began to tremble.

"But one day, he came downstairs and found Kreacher in the kitchen. He liked Kreacher very much. He said... he said... the Dark Lord needed a house-elf... so Master Regulus recommended Kreacher. It was an honor for him and Kreacher... He told me to complete everything the Dark Lord ordered and then go home..."

Harry looked at the others. They were all a little confused. Although Reina didn't seem as curious as everyone else, she was always calm no matter what happened, so it was not surprising.

"So Kreacher came to the Dark Lord. The Dark Lord didn't tell Kreacher what to do, he just took Kreacher to a cave by the sea. Deep inside the cave was a cave with a big black lake..." Kreacher began to sob.
