HP: Let professors walk towards the light

Chapter 171 Gossip Headlines and Fantastic Beasts

"I know, but..." Snape looked at Reina's hand which he was still holding tightly. He was a little greedy, thinking that it turned out that once he had grasped something, he would be reluctant to let it go easily.

"Severus, I am willing to face everything with you, including your past." Lena never forced Snape to forget the painful past. That was also a part of Snape. She only hated that she couldn't show up earlier.

"What are you thinking about?" Snape suddenly raised his hand and tapped Rena's forehead. The force was neither light nor heavy, just enough to make people look confused. Rena touched her forehead, blinked and looked at him in confusion.

"I think what we all need to remember is that you are only 13 years old and only a third-year student at Hogwarts. Even though you still have four years to graduate, I don't think you want the Daily Prophet to have gossip headlines about an old professor at Hogwarts coveting younger students or a female student seducing a professor to get promoted." Snape explained.

What kind of weird title is this? But it does sound like something the reporters from the Daily Prophet would do. Reina couldn't help but agree with it.

But... she had just confessed her feelings very bravely, and combined with what Severus had said before, was she about to start a mysterious and exciting basement romance?

Although her body was still that of a child, Reina's heart was completely different. She had used up all the courage she had just to confess her love to Snape. Now, looking at Snape, she was actually a little shy.

Reina lowered her head and what caught her eye was Snape's tightly clenched right hand. His thumb was stroking the back of her hand again and again. Reina suddenly felt as if she had drunk a stimulant and heat was coming out of her entire face. She seemed a little dizzy. Could it be that she had a cold?

"Why worry about such things? I'll just wait for you. I'm not like those irrational jackals. I can still bear this little bit of time." Snape thought that Reina lowered her head because of this, and said softly.

Helplessly, he raised his hand and ruffled Reina's hair again, and his eyes fell on the silver-white hair.

"It's getting late. You have classes tomorrow morning. I'll take you home."

After a while, Snape reminded.

Reina did not reject Snape's kindness just because the Slytherin common room was right next door, she nodded.

Before leaving, Snape added, "You can come anytime you want."

The next day, Hogwarts officially began its studies for this semester.

The first class for third graders is Divination. Students who choose this course will climb up the tall North Tower and listen to teachings.

"Harry, I don't understand how someone who even Professor McGonagall thinks is outrageous can still act like a ghost in Hogwarts." Hermione was still complaining, even though they had finished lunch and were on their way to Hagrid's Hut to prepare for their first Magical Creatures class.

In fact, Hermione said that she preferred Arithmancy, although to Harry and Ron it seemed that Hermione was talking nonsense, as she had been in classes with them all morning and had not taken any Arithmancy lessons at all.

Ron ignored Hermione, and the three of them came to Hagrid's hut in silence.

Reina, Draco and a group of Slytherin little snakes came here early, after all, they didn't have many classes in the morning.

"Come and start! Today's content is very special. Are all the students here? Okay, follow me!" Hagrid shouted very loudly, beckoning the students to follow the Forbidden Forest to a pasture.

"What is he going to show us?" Draco said, holding the Monster Book of Monsters in his hand.

"Maybe it's pretty." Reina said calmly.

Hagrid gathered the students together, and he hoped that they would all open the monster books in their hands.

"How do we open it? It will bite off our fingers." A Gryffindor student raised his hand.

Hagrid then noticed that most of the students' monster books were tied tightly with ropes, or squeezed into school bags and tied with other books, including a few children he was looking forward to.

However, when he scanned the room with his shrewd eyes, he found several Slytherin students holding monster books generously, with a look of ease and a bit of mockery on their faces.

"You! Yes, it's you. I think you seem to know the answer. You tell everyone." Hagrid picked and pointed at one of them who looked familiar.

Reina, who was almost surrounded, was lucky enough to be chosen.

"Yes, just touch the spine of the book gently. Everyone does this." Reina answered while standing still.

As soon as this was said, many people were eager to try it, but everyone seemed to have seen the power of the monster book, so they would not try it in advance before getting the approval of professional professors.

"Ha - it seems Gryffindor is not short of cowards. Why, you still don't dare to copy even though the exam answers have been given?" Draco raised the monster book and placed it on his shoulder, but he said this to Harry, his face full of confidence and provocation.

"Okay stop showing off... I'm going to say yes, the answer is correct, so the students can start, open your monster books and do as she says."

In fact, Hagrid didn't know how to mediate the conflicts in the classroom, but he thought he should stop them.

He asked his classmates to try to open the monster book, and then he disappeared. When he reappeared, he brought a group of hippogriffs with him.

"Hippogriff!" he shouted happily, and expressed the hope that the students could come closer to appreciate the beauty of this magical animal.

However, apart from Harry, Ron and Hermione approaching cautiously, no one else wanted to come forward.

Draco was talking to other people. In his opinion, although animals looked handsome, he liked dragons more.

"Now, Harry, relax—

That’s right, and now bow——

Back off, Harry, be careful -

Very good, now you can touch him, pat his beak, go ahead!"

Hagrid was rarely so quiet. In fact, when he saw Buckbeak's unhappy expression, he was really worried for Harry. Fortunately, Harry did a good job and successfully got Buckbeak's return gift. Look at how lazy the boy was under Harry's touch.

Almost all the students in the class were happy for Harry, and Reina also clapped her hands.

Harry successfully rode on Buckbeak's back and flew in a circle in the air.

Hagrid loosened all the chains, and the students started to do what they liked. Reyna followed Draco to Buckbeak, and there were Crabbe and Goyle who were holding books.

"I think it's easy, isn't it, Reina?" Draco bowed and looked at Reina very confidently.

"It's not Draco. You need to get its gift in return. Any rash action will irritate it and it will scratch you. He is much stronger than us." Lena shook her head and stopped Draco from reaching out to Buckbeak.
