HP: Let professors walk towards the light
Chapter 132 Reina's Rebirth 38
To be honest, Reina came here just to meet Dumbledore. Ever since she came back from time travel, she always had a bad feeling.
At first, she wanted to go into the old house. Being on the street would inevitably increase the risk of being exposed, but that was the headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix after all.
Now that things seemed not so simple, Lena decided to go in with them. She had to find a way to figure out what Bella was holding in her hand.
There is still time for the aging agent to work. Although it is only a slight change, the change in body shape at least will not make people directly associate it with herself.
So, Reina, who covered herself tightly and cast a Confusion Charm, followed Dumbledore into the Black mansion.
"By the way, Severus is still in here." Dumbledore said suddenly after entering the room.
"So there is no need to worry about Voldemort discovering this place."
"You did it on purpose." Reina glared at Dumbledore and put her hat tightly on her head.
"I simply overlooked it," Dumbledore shrugged.
"Who is this?" After passing through the corridor at the entrance, at the door leading to the basement, Molly Weasley was waiting there.
"He is also our partner." Dumbledore explained to Molly, then turned around and said, "You should go to the living room on the second floor and wait for a while. After all, I left halfway."
"Oh no, Dumbledore, the children are in the living room, they are always thinking of eavesdropping on something, are you sure you want the guests to go somewhere?" Molly said disapprovingly.
"Then..." Dumbledore thought for a moment.
"Come together, it's okay." Dumbledore pushed open the door of the basement.
"That's not necessary, Dumbledore..."
Just as Reina was about to stop him, the door was pushed open, and what came into view was a long table with people sitting on both sides, and everyone looked towards the door.
Molly led Lena to the table. Lena waved her hand and found a chair against the wall and sat down.
"Sorry, something happened. Where were we just talking?" Dumbledore sat down in the main seat.
"Wouldn't you like to introduce yourself?" Sirius asked first, "After all, we all know each other well."
"Sirius!" Lupin reminded him.
Lupin today is completely different from before. His hair, which has not been taken care of for a long time, has grown a lot longer, and his clothes are tattered. Although he tries his best to suppress it, one can still see the shadow of living among werewolves for a long time, especially his deep and fierce wolf eyes.
Reina pulled the brim of her hat down to cover her entire face, and leaned against the wall with her arms folded across her chest, looking like "it has nothing to do with me."
Dumbledore coughed lightly, drawing everyone's attention back.
"It's okay. She has helped us a lot. I can vouch for her. She came here today for other things. Let's continue."
Under Dumbledore's organization, everyone continued their discussion. To be honest, this was completely different from Reina's experience at the Death Eater meeting. Everyone spoke one after another about the information they had at home, and then others proposed measures. Dumbledore, as a leader, seldom made suggestions, and only occasionally said a few words when it came to some important matters, such as the new Minister of Magic Scrimgeour taking office to reorganize things.
As she listened, Reina's somewhat nervous mood calmed down.
Although Snape has reported to Voldemort, he will still participate in the activities of the Order of the Phoenix. In Lena's opinion, as long as Snape uses Dumbledore as a shield and makes it a long-term task, there is no need to worry. At that time, Dumbledore can "monitor" Snape's actions in disguise and let Snape stay in Hogwarts.
"I don't agree with cooperating with the Scrimgeour government. The people in the Ministry of Magic don't take us seriously, do they? Look at what he has done since he came to power?" Sirius leaned back in his chair and refuted Arthur's proposal to help the Scrimgeour government.
"That's true, but it seems that he has done more than you." Snape mocked mercilessly.
"Ha, then tell me what you did, Snotlout?"
"Scrimgeour did do a lot of useless work, but at least he didn't let Voldemort break through the entire Ministry of Magic so quickly. So I agree with Weasley's proposal to help the Scrimgeour government. If you can't even think of this, I suggest you go out and take care of your children."
"Oh, Scrimgeour never even looked at us straight in the eye. He doesn't even trust Dumbledore, and yet we go to help him? What, are we waiting at the door to be kicked out by him? If he really has the ability, he should completely reorganize the Ministry of Magic, remove that old woman Umbridge, form a combat team, and show the same temperament as when he led the Aurors, instead of just doing some superficial work here!" Sirius retorted loudly.
"It sounds like the position of Minister of Magic should be given to you. So why didn't you run for the position at that time, Black? Were you afraid of losing face as the godfather?" Snape looked at him sideways calmly, as if he just saw a mad dog on a rope.
"Puch-"
Reina couldn't help laughing out loud while listening to their conversation.
"Were you laughing just now?" Sirius frowned and looked at Lena, speaking in an unfriendly tone.
Everyone once again paid attention to the witch brought by Dumbledore, who had been sitting quietly by the side without saying a word since she entered the room.
“Ah, did you hear me? Sorry, sorry.” Reina didn’t look up, but waved her hand and said, “Go on, go on.”
"Since this mysterious witch finds our discussion so funny, why not speak out your thoughts?" Sirius said disdainfully.
Dumbledore supported himself with his hands, squinted his eyes and smiled without saying a word.
"I actually agree with that gentleman's point of view." Rena stretched out her hand and pointed precisely at Snape's location.
"If you really act on your own as Mr. Black thinks, what will happen when the Ministry of Magic is completely occupied by Voldemort? It will only be bad news for you. Scrimgeour's distrust of Dumbledore does not mean that he will betray Dumbledore. As you said, he was once an Auror leader who hated evil."
Reina calmly explained the overlooked objective fact, which was that although they had different opinions with Scrimgeour, they had the same goal, and Scrimgeour had a sense of mission and justice as an Auror. His responsibility and commitment were the most different things from Fudge.
"That's true." Mad-Eye Moody nodded, and Tonks beside him also agreed. As retired and current Aurors, they knew Scrimgeour well.
Arthur, who originally proposed this suggestion, also agreed.
Sirius could only complain but had no place to vent.
