HP: Let professors walk towards the light

Chapter 109 Reina's Rebirth 15

"You used to be a loyal and good servant. I regret that this had to happen. The Elder Wand cannot serve me completely because I am not its true master. The Elder Wand belongs to the wizard who killed its previous master. You killed Dumbledore, Severus, and as long as you live, the Elder Wand will never truly obey me. There is no other choice. Only I can be immortal--" Voldemort said slowly in a cold voice.

"Owner--"

As soon as Snape made a sound, Voldemort raised his wand, but instead of killing Snape directly, he released the viper.

The viper rushed towards Snape quickly, its fangs piercing his neck, and hot blood splattered on the glass.

Voldemort left with the snake.

Reina quickly stood up, but in the corner, Potter rushed out and squatted beside Snape.

"Take it...put it up..."

Potter used the flask that Granger handed him to collect Snape's tears. In the darkness, the liquid in the flask shone with a silver luster.

"Look at me... your eyes... they look just like your mother's..."

Snape spoke softly, and it was the first time that Reina heard him speak in such a gentle tone.

Voldemort's voice sounded in Reina's mind. Reina didn't know what he said. Potter left here with the last relic given to him by Snape.

Lena walked out of the darkness, the defensive spell on her body slowly dissipated, she took each step heavily, it was only a distance of a few meters, but she felt like she had walked for a century.

Snape's face slowly zoomed in, his black eyes dull, empty, dull, and blank.

Reina knelt beside Snape. His neck had become a bloody mess. She stretched out her hand to cover it, and the sticky blood stained her hands. At this moment, Reina finally panicked. She turned out everything in her pockets, poured bottles of hemostatic agents and white moss into Snape's mouth, and cast healing spells on Snape's neck one by one.

All the potions flowed out from the corners of his mouth. The healing spell had no effect on a person who had already passed away.

Reina's eyes gradually blurred.

"No... please... don't..."

Why, why did she have to look into Potter's eyes until the very end? Lena didn't understand. She hated Potter's green eyes, she hated them very much.

She could have been... she could have been the professor's best student, could have graduated soon, taught at Hogwarts, and attended academic seminars together... She hadn't even invited the professor to visit the manor yet...

Why do you always care about Potter so much? Why do you pretend to be disgusted and worry secretly? What is so attractive about that student who even cheats on tests in class? Aren't you... a Death Eater?

Reina held Snape's head, tears already covering her face. She thought she could lose someone she didn't care about, but in the end, she still lost the most respectable person she had ever met in this war.

?

"The traces are revealed."

The Death Eaters retreated, and Voldemort mercifully gave Hogwarts an hour to accommodate the wounded.

Reina smoothed Snape's messy hair, cleaned his blood, and straightened his wizard robe. Snape lay quietly in the Shrieking Shack, next to him was an empty reagent bottle.

Lena followed Potter's footsteps to the principal's office.

"Dumbledore," was his command.

Potter was lying in the principal's office, covered with a dirty blanket.

Hearing someone coming in, he sat up very slowly. Seeing that it was Reina, he asked in a hoarse voice, "What do you know?"

Reina shook her head and replied, "I don't know anything. That's why I came to you."

"I'm leaving. In the Pensieve."

"Where?"

"Go find Voldemort." He stood up, his breathing slowing.

"You can't go."

"Only I can stop everything." He put on the invisibility cloak and disappeared in front of Reina. A gust of wind blew, and Harry's voice sounded again at the door, "If you encounter Nagini, please kill it, the snake."

Reina nodded slightly, and then there was silence.

Porter is gone.

In the corner of the principal's office, there was a very inconspicuous iron basin. Reina walked to the side of the meditation basin, and there were strands of silver threads in the basin. Perhaps it was something that Snape left for Harry. Reina put her head into the basin.

The scene before my eyes suddenly became brighter...

After an unknown amount of time, Reina found the answer there. It was the last thing Snape left behind, which was his memory and those unknown truths.

On that sunny day, it was the green-eyed Lily, who was in love at first sight.

And, the dark-haired James Potter, the central figure of the Marauders.

The werewolf night that almost killed him, the word "mudblood" that caused the split, the temptation of dark magic that led him to the path of Death Eaters, the wrong choices that created a lifetime of pain, and the whole world became dark and unclear from then on.

A promise of "Anything" to Dumbledore marked the beginning of his journey as a spy. An unbreakable oath and a plea brought him the infamy of the whole world.

Reina raised her head and sat against the wall, hiding in the darkness.

This was the professor she respected, who had endured for more than twenty years, just for Lily's eyes.

Lena felt a little pain in her chest. No wonder, all he had eyes for was Potter. She was just an ordinary student who was a little smart.

?

Voldemort launched another attack on Hogwarts.

McGonagall, Slughorn and the Ministry of Magic's Kingsley are fighting against Voldemort at the same time.

Reina, who rushed down from upstairs, saw the viper. She clenched her wand and aimed it.

"Avada Kedavra!"

A green light shot out from the tip of Reina's wand, but the snake dodged it swiftly as if it had human thinking. It faced Reina, opened its mouth and showed its pair of bloody fangs as it rushed over.

"Armor protection!"

Nagini slammed hard into Reina's armor spell, spitting out its black tongue vigilantly, waiting for an opportunity to move.

Reina looked at the snake and smiled unconsciously. Another spell was cast at Nagini, and the Armor Spell dissipated. Nagini rushed over, dodged the spell, and bit Reina's shoulder. Reina hugged the snake tightly and put the magic wand against the snake's eyes.

"Avada Kedavra--"

"Avada Kedavra!"

「Reina! No!!」

In the end, Reina didn't know whether her killing curse was shot at Nagini, but a light flashed before her eyes and she heard Draco's voice.

At least Draco was okay.
