Traveler Zerg World

Their destination was that mysterious plateau, where they had heard that some unknown secrets of the insectoid world were hidden, and perhaps they could find clues to return to their original world.

Along the way, they encountered various strange insectoid creatures. Once, a gigantic spider-like insectoid sprang from the dense grass. Zhang Ying quickly drew her weapon, her eyes fixed intently on it. "You cover me, I'll deal with it!" Zhang Ying shouted. Lin Zhi and Yan Jun nodded in unison, flanking from both sides to draw the spider-like insectoid's attention. The insectoid spun silk, attempting to ensnare them. Lin Zhi nimbly dodged, searching for an opportunity to attack. Yan Jun, however, seized an opening, charged forward, and plunged his sword into its abdomen. The insectoid struggled a few times, then lay still.

Finally, they reached the foot of the plateau. The plateau was bitterly cold, the air thin, and every step required immense physical exertion. Vegetation was extremely sparse, and the land had an eerie, dark red hue.

On a hillside in the highlands, they discovered a herd of goats. These goats were much larger than normal goats, with coarse, stiff fur and a wild glint in their eyes. "These goats look unusual," Yan Jun said, frowning.

As they were observing the goats, suddenly one of them let out a strange cry, and then its body began to swell. Its fur became even bushier, and something seemed to be surging beneath its skin. Moments later, the goat's limbs became incredibly thick, and huge curved horns grew from its head, gleaming with a metallic sheen.

"This...this is a mutation?" Lin Zhi said in surprise.

Before they could react, the mutated goat charged at them. Zhang Ying quickly raised her weapon, ready to fight back. "Everyone be careful, this mutated goat is definitely strong!" Zhang Ying shouted.

Yan Jun dodged the goat's first charge by sidestepping, then swung his sword at the goat's leg. The goat, in pain, turned and gored Yan Jun with its horns. Yan Jun leaped backward, but was still grazed on the shoulder by the horn, staggering a few steps.

Taking advantage of the situation, Lin Zhi attacked from the side, pulling out a dagger and stabbing it into the goat's side. The goat angrily thrashed its body, throwing Lin Zhi away.

Seizing the opportunity, Zhang Ying leaped high into the air, gripped his weapon with both hands, and brought it down fiercely on the goat's head. The blow was incredibly powerful; a large gash appeared on the goat's head, and blood flowed freely. The goat swayed a few times and collapsed to the ground.

Just when they thought they had dealt with the mutated goats, the surrounding goat herd suddenly became agitated. More goats began to mutate, and they all charged towards the three people from Linzhi.

"No, we can't handle this!" Yan Jun shouted.

“Let’s run to higher ground and use the terrain to fight them!” Zhang Ying said.

The three of them quickly ran up the hillside, with the mutated goats in hot pursuit. There were many boulders on the hillside, and Linzhi and the others hid behind them, panting heavily.

Yan Jun then used his superior swordsmanship to kill the approaching goats one by one.

While fighting, Zhang Ying shouted, "Everyone, conserve your energy! This isn't going to end anytime soon!"

After a fierce battle, the mutated goat herd was finally driven back. The three men collapsed to the ground, panting heavily.

"How could the goats on the plateau suddenly mutate?" Lin Zhi asked in bewilderment.

Yan Jun wiped the sweat from his face and said, "Perhaps it's some kind of energy in this Zerg world that's affecting them."

Zhang Ying stood up, looked around, and said, "No matter what, we have to keep going and see what other secrets this plateau holds."

Just as they were preparing to continue their journey, a low roar echoed from afar. The three exchanged a glance, their eyes filled with vigilance. They knew that many more unknown dangers awaited them on this mysterious plateau.

The Zerg brothers Wang Jun and Wang Kai, along with their four siblings Li Yi, Li Ming, Li Hua, and Li Li, as well as Hua Yuan and Zhang Yuan, were also on this plateau. Wang Jun and Wang Kai, with their agile figures, led the way, vigilantly observing the surrounding movements.

"Brother, this place feels eerie, is there any danger?" Wang Kai asked in a low voice.

Wang Jun frowned and said, "It's always better to be careful. Everything here is strange, and that mutated goat might just be the beginning."

The four sisters, Li Yi, Li Ming, Li Hua, and Li Li, followed closely behind. Although they were afraid, their eyes also revealed a hint of determination.

The mutated goats charged towards them, and Wang Jun and Wang Kai were the first to meet them. They moved nimbly through the herd, constantly wielding their weapons and slashing down the approaching goats.

Li and the others were not to be outdone, each displaying their own fighting skills. Li Hua was skilled with a long whip; her whip, like a nimble snake, coiled around the goats' limbs, tripping them.

Li Ming then took a short knife and quickly stabbed the goat in its vital areas.

Li Li and Li Wei worked together seamlessly. Li Li was responsible for attracting the goat's attention, while Li Wei took the opportunity to attack the goat's weaknesses.

Hua Yuan and Zhang Yuan provided support from behind, using ranged weapons to attack the goats that were trying to get around to the rear.

In the midst of the fierce battle, a mutated goat suddenly charged at Li Yi. Seeing this, Wang Kai shouted, "Watch out!" and leaped towards Li Yi, pushing her aside.

The mutated goat's horn grazed Wang Kai, but he still suffered a minor injury.

"Are you alright?" Li asked anxiously.

Wang Kai shook his head and said, "It's alright... Keep fighting!"

After a fierce battle, the mutated goat herd was finally driven back. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief and checked their injuries.

"It seems there are more and more dangers on the plateau," Wang Jun said.

"We need to find a safe place to rest and recover our strength as soon as possible," Li said.

So they continued their search for a place to rest on the plateau. Meanwhile, Linzhi, Yan Jun, and Zhang Ying continued their exploration nearby, unaware that a far greater crisis was quietly approaching…

In a valley on the plateau, Linzhi and his group discovered a cave. The cave looked very deep, and a mysterious atmosphere permeated the entrance.

Yan Jun looked at the cave and said, "There might be some clues here. Let's go in and take a look."

Lin Zhi and Zhang Ying nodded, and the three of them cautiously entered the cave. The cave was dimly lit, and strange lights shimmered on the walls.

Suddenly, a low buzzing sound came, as if something was wriggling in the darkness.

Just then, a swarm of scorpion-like insectoids crawled out of the darkness. These scorpions were enormous, covered in hard exoskeletons, and their stingers gleamed coldly.

"These are scorpion insects! Everyone be careful of their stingers!" Yan Jun shouted.

Lin Zhi swiftly drew his weapon and engaged the scorpion-infested insectoids in battle. He skillfully dodged the scorpions' attacks while simultaneously searching for an opportunity to strike.

Zhang Ying brandished his longsword, slashing at the scorpion insectoids' carapace. Although the carapace was hard, Zhang Ying's sword was also very sharp, leaving a mark on the carapace with each attack.

Yan Jun fought while observing the movements of the scorpion insectoids. He discovered that these scorpion insectoids seemed to be somewhat organized; they would cooperate with each other and attack from different directions.

“Let’s stand back to back, that way we can keep an eye on everything!” Yan Jun shouted.

Lin Zhi and Zhang Ying immediately did as he said, and the three of them stood back to back, forming a defensive circle.

During the battle, a scorpion-like insect suddenly leaped high into the air and pounced on Linzhi. Linzhi had no time to dodge and was about to be overwhelmed. At the critical moment, Zhang Ying shouted and forcefully thrust his longsword into the scorpion-like insect. The sword pierced its abdomen, and it fell to the ground in pain.

After a fierce battle, the scorpion insectoids were finally driven back. The three of them collapsed to the ground, panting heavily.

"How come there are so many dangerous insectoids in this cave?" Lin Zhi asked in confusion.

Yan Jun stood up, observed the surroundings of the cave, and said, "Perhaps this place holds some secret of the Zerg world, which is why so many Zerg are guarding it."

Just as they were preparing to continue exploring the cave, an even deeper roar echoed from its depths. The three exchanged a glance, their eyes filled with determination. They knew that an even greater challenge awaited them…

Meanwhile, Wang Jun and his group continued their journey across the plateau. They arrived at a vast stone forest, where the stones were of various shapes, some resembling people and others animals, creating a mysterious sculpture garden.

"This place looks really eerie," Wang Kai said.

Wang Jun nodded and said, "Everyone be careful, don't touch any traps."

They carefully made their way through the stone forest when suddenly the ground beneath their feet began to shake.

"Something's wrong!" Wang Jun shouted.

The stones in the stone forest began to move, piecing themselves together to form enormous mechanical devices. These devices shimmered with blue light and emitted a buzzing sound.

"What's going on?" Li asked in surprise.

Before they could react, laser beams shot out from the mechanical device and headed towards them.

Wang Jun and Wang Kai quickly took cover, shouting at the same time, "Everyone, find cover!"

Everyone quickly hid behind the rocks, and the laser beams darted through the stone forest, emitting dazzling light when they struck the rocks.

"How do we deal with this?" Li Hua asked anxiously.

Li Ming observed the operation of the mechanical device and said, "We need to find the core that controls these devices and destroy it!"

So, Wang Jun and Wang Kai cautiously approached the mechanical device. Using the rocks as cover, they slowly drew near to the control center.

As they approached the control core, they encountered a swarm of small flying insectoids. These insectoids were extremely fast and relentlessly attacked them.

While dodging attacks from the flying insectoids, Wang Jun and Wang Kai continued their advance toward the control core.

Li and her team provided support from behind, attacking the flying Zerg with ranged weapons.

Finally, Wang Jun and Wang Kai arrived in front of the control core. The control core was a huge blue crystal, surrounded by various wires and pipes.

"This is it, let's destroy it!" Wang Kai said.

Wang Jun nodded, and the two of them joined forces to chop at the blue crystal. After some effort, the blue crystal was finally shattered.

As the blue crystal shattered, the mechanical device stopped operating, and the laser beam disappeared.
