I'm the master of my life

Chapter 1: Knocked Out by the Gold Finger

Lanxi was lying in a rocking chair, listening to novels, eating fruits, and admiring the night sky. She felt very comfortable, when suddenly a star flashed by.

"Wow! There's a shooting star, but why is it getting brighter and brighter? Damn it! I'm only 26, and I haven't lived enough." Lanxi cursed as she jumped up and prepared to run. But she was a step too slow, and she felt a headache and then she knew nothing.

What Lanxi didn't see was that there was a bloody hole on her forehead as she fell sideways on the recliner, but strangely, no blood was flowing out.

The thing that hit her "whoosh" went into Lanxi's head, and then the wound slowly healed, and no trace could be seen on the surface.

When Lanxi regained consciousness, she was lying in a strange place that looked like a fairyland. She sat up and looked around, and found that she was now in a small courtyard, which was the style of a farmyard.

Lanxi looked at the yard in front of her. There was a row of three houses in the middle of the yard. There was a small stone-paved ground in front of the houses, which was connected to a pond on the right.

There is a stone pillar in the middle of the pool, and there is a small pool on the top of the stone pillar. The gurgling spring water flows down from the small pool and merges into the pool below. White mist lingers above the pool, and there is a fairy air.

In front of the left side of the house, there is a flower bed with a tall tree planted in it. I don’t know what kind of tree it is, but it is more than ten meters tall.

The flower bed is also paved with stone slabs. There is a swing on the branches under the tree. Between the tree and the house, there is a stone table and stone bench.

The left side of the house is about three or four meters away from the wall. There is a row of grape racks next to the wall, full of grapes, which seem to be more than one variety. There are also stone slabs under the grape racks, and there is a lounge chair and a low table.

There is about an acre of land in the yard. Except for the winding stone paths, the rest of the land is neatly laid out in fields, probably planted with medicinal herbs.

I don’t recognize most of the herbs in Lanxi. I only know the Ganoderma lucidum and ginseng, which are herbs I have seen pictures of on the Internet.

Next is the high courtyard wall, with all kinds of flower branches climbing on it, forming a beautiful flower wall.

Lanxi looked at everything in confusion. Where was this? It seemed like she was knocked unconscious by something and found herself here when she woke up.

Was she kidnapped? Who was it? The bad father? The stepmother? Or their children? She looked around and saw no one, so she decided to run away first.

Lanxi got up and walked along the winding path. After a while, she arrived at the gate of the courtyard. Looking outside through the gap in the gate, she saw fields and mountains.

Lanxi looked back and tried to open the door, but it wouldn't open no matter what. She tried a few more times without giving up, but she still couldn't get out.

Lanxi said to herself, "Is she really kidnapped? Or was she sold to a remote mountain village? Since we are blocked, let's go inside and take a look!"

Lanxi walked along the stone path and came to the small building. She listened carefully but heard no sound.

Lanxi tiptoed to the front of the house and stopped cautiously for a while. Then she was about to push open the middle door, but suddenly her hand on the door stopped.

Lan Xi looked down at her almost transparent hands, and a question popped up in her mind: What happened? Am I dead? What the hell hit me to death?

Lanxi was speechless. He didn't even know he was dead. What killed him? And he appeared here strangely. Where was this?

She looked at her transparent hands and murmured to herself, "So where am I now? The underworld? The fairyland? Heaven? Bah, bah, bah, I am a genuine Chinese. Even if I want to go somewhere, it will be the fairyland. How can I go to heaven? Heaven is a thing for Westerners. It's full of human-like creatures."

Thinking of this, Lan Xi angrily muttered to herself: "I was living a carefree life, who was so wicked as to throw something from a high place and kill me?"

Just as Lanxi was getting angry and scared, the door in front of her opened from the inside, and a furry white ball flew out, "whoosh" flew in front of her, and shyly called out "Master."

Lan Xi watched the flying little ball warily, looking around cautiously, and asked in a timid tone, "Who is it? Who is talking?"

The little white ball flew in front of Lanxi, fluttered up and down, and said, "Master, it's me, I'm talking to you."

Lan Xi looked at the little girl in front of him suspiciously: "Who are you? How can you talk? Where am I?"

"Hello, Master. This is the space of the Space-Time Stone. I am the Spirit of Space."

"Time-Space Stone? Space? You are the spirit of space, right?" When it comes to space, Lan Xi understood. Who hasn't read a few novels? She was just nervous at the beginning because she didn't expect it.

"It's almost the same as a weapon spirit. Master, how do you know about the weapon spirits in space? Have you ever been to the world of cultivation?"

"That's not the case. As for me knowing that you are a spirit of an artifact, what's the big deal? I haven't read my novels in vain over the years. By the way, how did you recognize me as your master?" Lan Xi suddenly narrowed her eyes and looked at the white ball in front of her.

Hearing his master's question, Baituanzi kept nodding uncomfortably, feeling his master's increasingly dangerous gaze.

Then he stammered, "Master, I didn't mean it. I was originally a time-space stone that existed at the beginning of chaos, before the creation of the world.

At the creation of the world, I was accidentally injured by the power of Pangu when he created the world, and have been in a deep sleep ever since.

As time went by, I woke up in the world of cultivation. The energy fluctuations when I woke up were discovered by others, which triggered a scramble, and the fight caused a space crack.

I was swept into the space cracks and encountered space-time storms countless times. All the energy I had accumulated with great difficulty was used to resist the space-time storms.

Later, when the energy was about to run out, a tiny space crack suddenly appeared. I desperately escaped from the space crack.

When it fell, it hit its master on the head, absorbed the master's blood and recognized him as its master."

"So I was killed by you. Can I go back to my body?"

"Master, you are not dead. I used the little energy I had left to heal you. Your soul is now separated from your body and is in space. However, your soul is incomplete and you only have half a month to live."

Lan Xi asked in surprise: "How is this possible? How can I only live for another half a month? And my soul is incomplete? Space Spirit, you are fooling me!"

"Really, Master. I am not kidding you. People have three souls and seven spirits. When people say they have lost their soul, they are referring to the lost soul among the three souls of heaven, earth and man. Losing the soul will cause mental depression, strange behavior, and easy panic and anxiety. The seven spirits correspond to the human body, and losing the soul will be accompanied by physical defects."
