At this time, Kurosawa was extremely sleepy. He couldn't help but look up at the sky, but there were only a few stars left.

I checked my phone for a moment. Oh my god! It's already 4am! Is anyone still going to sleep?!

The irritability and fatigue in his heart instantly surged into his heart, and Kurosawa's face became extremely ugly.

He impatiently shook off the hand that Kudo Shinichi was holding, but when he found that he couldn't shake it off, his anger suddenly rose.

(ps: It’s normal to feel so sleepy that you don’t even want to move.)

Kurosawa suddenly turned around and gave Kudo Shinichi a fierce fight, while saying something mercilessly.

"Then go and verify it right away! I'm going to sleep now. You can come back to see me tomorrow!"

"Does this case have to be solved today? Even if it is solved, won't it still have to be reported tomorrow? So why can't we just solve the case tomorrow?"

"Besides, this case is almost solved, why can't I take a break?"

"Those policemen, what did they do except just stand there and watch? Now I, the great hero, have to go back and rest. Please let go of my hand!"

As Kurosawa spoke, he struggled to break free from Kudo Shinichi's hand, then turned around and walked away angrily.

His steps seemed hurried, as if he didn't want to stay here any longer.

He swung his arms vigorously, as if trying to shake off all the fatigue and dissatisfaction of the evening.

His brows were tightly furrowed, his eyes were full of anger and impatience, and he kept muttering some complaining words.

"Fuck, the suspect has already confessed, but you're still bullying me. You're really sick."

Kudo Shinichi, who was a little confused by Kurosawa's questions, stood there in a daze.

His mouth was slightly open, as if he had not yet recovered from Kurosawa's intense reaction.

His hand still maintained the posture of holding Kurosawa, as if time had frozen at this moment.

After a long while, Kudo Shinkata slowly closed his mouth, his eyes became deep, and he began to fall into deep thought.

"What did the police do? What did they do besides just watch?"

Kudo Shinichi pondered this sentence over and over in his mind.

This question is indeed a difficult one to answer for Kudo Shinichi, because it is a false proposition in itself.

Kudo Shinichi knew that he could not simply judge by right or wrong.

Policemen play an important role in the case. Their existence is not only to catch criminals, but also to maintain social order and stability.

However, at some point, their actions may not always be perfect, and they may make mistakes and fall short, but this does not mean that they are without value or meaning.

But were they really just mistakes?

Kudo Shinichi recalled the cases he had been involved in and how those police officers performed when faced with various complex situations.

Sometimes, they may seem a little helpless and overwhelmed.

But more often than not, they seem to do nothing, chatting, sleeping, fooling around...

Kudo Shinichi's thoughts drifted further and further away, and he began to think about the true meaning of justice.

What is justice? Is it simply bringing criminals to justice? Or is there more to it?

These questions kept circling in Kudo Shinichi's mind, making him feel a little confused and bewildered.

He turned his gaze to Kurosawa and decided to follow him and ask.

......

On the other side, Kurosawa, who had already walked away, was still muttering curses.

"What an unreasonable psychopath. In the middle of the night, he's still pestering me."

As he walked, he shook his head irritably, as if trying to get rid of the trouble that Kudo Shinichi brought him.

"I'm so exhausted, can't I just take a break? Does he know how many tasks I complete in a day?"

"That reckless detective only knows how to ask some inexplicable questions."

"The people who are supposed to see that kind of thing are the police. What does it have to do with a detective like me?"

Kurosawa quickened his pace while complaining, and at the same time kept rubbing his wrist which was pulled painfully by Kudo Shinichi, as if this could ease some of his dissatisfaction.

His eyebrows were tightly furrowed and his face was full of impatience.

He looked back from time to time, and each time he looked back was with a little nervousness and vigilance, fearing that Kudo Shinichi would suddenly catch up with him again.

When he was sure that Kudo Shinichi had not caught up with him, he let out a long sigh of relief and his body relaxed.

"Finally I got rid of that troublesome guy. He was so annoying."

Then, he walked with a slightly brisk pace towards the Porsche driven by Vodka, thinking only of going home quickly to have a good sleep.

At the corner not far away, Kudo Shinichi was cautiously sticking his head out, watching Kurosawa's every move.

He originally wanted to secretly follow Kurosawa to see if he could find some useful clues.

Kudo Shinichi was seen crouching, his steps as light as a cat ready to hunt, his eyes fixed on Kurosawa's back, afraid of missing any details.

When he saw Kurosawa quicken his pace towards the Porsche, Kudo Shinichi hurried to follow, his movements nimble and quick.

However, Kurosawa seemed to have noticed something and suddenly quickened his pace, instantly widening the distance between him and Kudo Shinichi.

Kudo Shinichi was shocked and ran as fast as he could, but Kurosawa was too fast.

Kurosawa moved flexibly in front, sometimes flashing into the alley and sometimes turning into another street.

Kudo Shinichi was chasing closely behind, beads of sweat gradually seeping out of his forehead and his breathing became rapid.

However, no matter how hard Kudo Shinichi tried, he could not get closer to Kurosawa.

Kurosawa swam quickly through the city streets like a slippery fish, and soon left Kudo Shinichi far behind.

In the end, I didn’t see Kurosawa’s Porsche.

Kudo Shinichi watched Kurosawa disappear from his sight unwillingly. He stopped, supported his knees with his hands, and breathed heavily.

"Damn it, he still got away." He gritted his teeth, a look of regret on his face.

After a while, Kudo Shinichi slowly stood up straight, his eyes still flashing with determination.

"Hmph, you're lucky this time, Melanin. I'll reveal your true colors sooner or later."

After saying that, he turned and left the place, his figure gradually blending into the darkness.

At this time, Kurosawa was already sitting in the Porsche. He asked Vodka to start the car and drove quickly towards home.

(ps: There is a reason why this case is short. I mixed it up. This is the plot later...)
