Yao Shu stayed quiet for a while after taking the medicine.

After a good night's sleep, Yao Shu's vision became clearer, the corners of her eyes were no longer sticky, and her upper and lower eyelids were no longer stuck together and unable to separate.

Yao Shu felt sticky and as if she was covered in rice cakes, making it difficult for her to move.

She looked at the blackened burnt spots on her body. Yao Shu gently touched her arms twice, and her skin gradually returned to its elastic texture.

"Do you think there are monsters in this cave?"

A little boy's voice was heard outside.

"It shouldn't be. Don't listen to your grandma. This is an abandoned mine. Let's go in and explore."

Another heavy boy's voice.

"Or let's go back... I'm afraid..." The little boy swallowed, hesitating.

The boy pushed the little boy away in disgust and said, "You can go if you want. Who wants to take you, a coward? We won't play together anymore in the future."

"That's right, you're a coward." A male chicken raised his chin and scolded him with a squint.

"No, no, no...I'm going too."

The little boy explained hurriedly, and quickly stood in line for fear of being abandoned.

The boy took a deep breath and shouted, "Let's go in. No matter what kind of monster it is, I will beat it."

The three entered and saw a tiny woman covered in black in the darkness. She was extremely thin.

His bluish-white eyes were wide open, his black fingers had distinct joints, he was naked, and his hair was sparse, like a vengeful ghost from hell collecting debts.

"……ghost."

The boy sat down on the ground, looking dazed and mumbling softly.

"Hurry up! Mom!" The little boy left his teammates behind and screamed.

"Wait for me, don't leave me alone." The boy was so scared that he lost control of his bowels and bladder, and ran with the little boy with his pants wet.

The boy sat on the ground, dazed.

The boy's eyes rolled back and he fainted.

Yao Shu went forward to check and found that it was a child from the town.

She picked up a sharp stone...

[Revenge Progress: 1/]

Yao Shu sat in an abandoned mine, built a bonfire, and roasted wild vegetables.

The flames in the campfire crackled. She blew on the freshly roasted wild vegetables, twirled the long strips of vegetables, and stuffed them into her mouth.

“It’s tasteless.”

Yao Shu felt like chewing wax, but System 666 was still asking questions.

How delicious is it?

“Like eating tissue.”

【. . . 】

"Why don't you speak?" Yao Shu wondered and took another bite of the roasted wild vegetables.

【nothing. 】

Yao Shu didn't ask any further questions. After eating the wild vegetables, she took out "The Forest Man" and opened the first page.

Stay in places with many trees and feel the breath of nature.

Yao Shu turned to the next page, nothing. Then she turned to the next page, nothing.

Yao Shu frowned. Could this system be playing tricks on her?

[Don't cricket me from behind. I can hear you.]

"Then why is there no word at the end?"

[This book and your seeds grow together. The better your seeds grow, the more the words in this book will grow.]

Yao Shu felt a little disappointed, closed the book and said, "Then we have to leave this place quickly, otherwise those parents will come over to collect the debt.

A group of people, holding torches, were walking through the woods in the suburbs.

"Uncle Charles, Colin is in that abandoned mine." The boy gave directions to the boy's parents.

"Uncle Charles, we just saw a thin, dark monster in the mine."

The little boy shrank his neck and hid behind the adults, not daring to look directly at the road ahead.

"It's right there!" exclaimed the chicken boy.

Charles said coldly, "Children stay here, adults follow me."

Several adults entered the mine and found nothing inside, only a strong smell of blood.

Charles' face turned pale, and he thought to himself that something was wrong.

"Dad, do you think the child will..."

The boy's mother, Dominica, said in horror, her lips turning purple.

"No, no." Charles comforted Dominica and also comforted himself.

Dominica and several others went down into the mine together, and a few children outside heard crying and shouting coming from inside.

"My son!!"

Dominica cried heartbreakingly and collapsed to the ground. Charles hugged Dominica's upper body to prevent her from fainting.

The children outside stayed where they were like quails, not knowing what would happen in the future.

Yao Shu squatted by the river, scooped up water from leaves and drank it.

"Little girl." An elderly woman's gentle voice sounded in Yao Shu's ears.

"Who?!"

Yao Shu stood up in fear. She turned around and saw a grandmother on crutches looking at her lovingly. There was a basket hanging on her hand, and she was covering the things inside with a clean yellow cloth.

Yao Shu immediately calmed down and asked her grandmother calmly, "Grandma, aren't you afraid of me?"

"You? Hahahaha...what do you have to be afraid of? You're just a poor little thing that got burned." Grandma laughed and was not at all panicked by Yao Shu's horrified face.

Grandma took out a bottle of purple juice from the basket and handed it to Yao Shu.

"This will heal the burns on your body."

Yao Shu didn't reach out to take it, and System 666 spoke at this time.

[Yao Shu, take it! It’s a good thing. ]

Yao Shu listened to System 666 and took the purple potion from her grandmother.

Yao Shu drank it all in one gulp, and the black lumps on her body fell off one by one without any pain. New skin grew all over her body, and she returned to her original state.

The seeds in my mind sprouted immediately and grew into tender green shoots.

Yao Shu looked at her healed skin and was so surprised that she was speechless.

"You are such a sensible girl. Do you want to go home with grandma? I can repair your burns and make your seeds sprout."

Grandma smiled, covered the basket with cloth, looked at Yao Shu's forehead and said.

Yao Shu was shocked, wondering if she had met a hermit master.

[This grandma must be a good person to give you this thing! Promise her now! ]

"it is good."

Yao Shu replied.

Grandma smiled, and the walking stick in her hand turned into a floating broom, surrounded by sparkling golden light.

The yellow cloth covering the basket automatically extended and wrapped around Yao Shu.

Grandma sat on it and said to Yao Shu behind her: "Come on, grandma will take you home."

Yao Shu was well-behaved and listened to her grandma and sat in the back. Her grandma said, "It's about to fly, so hold on tight, little girl."

The broom flew rapidly upwards, and Yao Shu subconsciously tensed her body. The golden light around her seemed to have some kind of magical power, holding her up steadily.

It was late at night, and the cool mountain breeze blew across Yao Shu's cheek, taking away her long-standing fatigue.

The bustling streets on the ground turned into stars. Yao Shu and her grandmother passed through large clouds and saw the flying house hidden in the clouds above.

Grandma flew down the hallway of the house and they both landed on all fours.

Yao Shu got off the flying broom, and grandma's flying broom turned back into a walking stick. Grandma saw Yao Shu looking up and down and asked happily, "Have you never seen this before?"

"Grandma, have you always lived here?"

Yao Shu asked.

"Yes, I have always lived here alone, usually with my cat." Grandma opened the door, and the fireplace inside instantly burned up, making the whole room warm and cozy.

"Please sit anywhere. I'll get you some warm clothes." Grandma put the basket on the counter to the right of the door and went upstairs to get something.
