Chapter 824 Second Interaction, Hive Consciousness

So Tony Stark took out a living monster cub from the stomach of the recently dead Rattus rat and brought it back to Newton Gozel.

Looking at the snarling, threatening little tail-standing rat cub, Newton Gozelton felt a little nervous, but he quickly adjusted his mindset and said, "Wait for me a moment. I'll be back with the neuro-interaction device soon. Before that, please try to keep it alive."

Then, without waiting for Tony Stark's consent, he hurriedly left the villa.

"It seems that your fanboy likes the gift you gave him very much." Rosen walked over with a smile and waved to the Iron Man who was a hundred meters tall next to him as a greeting.

"Of course." Tony Stark replied arrogantly, "Don't you even look at who sent you this gift?"

Rosen smiled and walked up to the baby Rattus rat, which was being pinched by the Iron Man's giant hand and pressed firmly to the ground.

"Hiss."

Seeing him approaching, the baby rat, although having difficulty moving, still bared its mouth full of jagged but extremely sharp teeth, and made sharp noises at Rosen to threaten him. There was even a churning in its throat, and it was obvious that it was preparing an acid attack.

Rosen just glanced over casually, and invisible telekinesis came immediately, pinching its mouth tightly like a pair of invisible giant hands.

Only then did he walk over and touch its head.

"Your touch triggered your innate skill: Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Unfortunately, you didn't gain any benefits."

Although he had expected this result, Rosen still felt a little unhappy when such a familiar prompt message appeared in front of him again.

Since coming to this world, Rosen thought that he could make a fortune from Close Encounters of the Third Kind and at the same time complete all the achievements of Monster Hunter.

But later he realized that he was really overthinking.

The third kind of contact is indeed very useful. You can obtain random skills or items from aliens, but there is a certain probability.

Rosen's luck seemed to have run out. He had encountered many alien monsters, but had never been able to acquire any new skills or items.

As for Monster Hunter, let alone, I don’t know if it’s because these monsters are cloned into embryos and then bred in a targeted manner, so that except for the achievement given when killing them for the first time, there have been no more achievement points added since then.

"Your Monster Hunter progress has been improved to 16/30. At your current level, your critical hit rate when facing monsters is increased by 16%, and the chance of treasure drops is increased by 17%. Each kill has a certain chance of obtaining a special item."

When the news that the monsters' invasion was stopped and killed on the spot was passed back to the hunter base, there was immediate cheering.

Especially Heck Hansen and others who witnessed how Alita and Iron Man killed two level 4 monsters were even more amazed at their fighting power.

"General, should we carry out the original plan now?" asked Heck-Hansen.

"No." Styk-Pendix obviously had a plan in mind. He said, "You guys go back to the base first. After the damaged Hunters are repaired, we can discuss destroying the crossing point."

After finishing the call with Heck Hansen, Stike Pendix said, "Prepare the car. I need to go to Taiping Mountain."

When Stack Pendix was leaving the base by car, he saw Newton Goetzle and Dr. Hermann Gottlieb, who were also driving a car carrying a large amount of equipment for neural interaction towards Taiping Mountain.

Two cars, one in front of the other, stopped outside Rosen's villa almost at the same time.

"General..." Newton and Hermann hurriedly saluted and greeted Stack when they saw him.

They are indeed a bit nerdy, but they are not really ignorant of business. At least they know how to interact with others.

"What are you doing here?" asked Stek.

"Newton asked Tony Stark to help get a monster cub. He wanted to interact with it neurally to get more information about the monster invasion." Herman answered quickly.

"That's right." Newton nodded and said, "The brain activities of monsters are different from ours. Each monster can think independently and interact with the brains of other monsters in some unknown way."

"This species seems to possess a hive consciousness, so even if it's just a cub that has just been taken out of a monster's belly, as long as I can enter its thinking world, I can learn the secrets of other monsters through the hive consciousness."

At this point, he looked at Stick-Pendix and said with a smug look on his face, "By then, General, the secret of the monster will no longer be a secret."

"What are you waiting for?" Steck said, "I look forward to your success."

"General, I will go with him." Dr. Hermann Gottlieb said, "To prove that my previous calculations were correct. By the way, according to my calculations, a new invasion of monsters is about to begin, and this time it will be a triple event."

"Really?" Stek was somewhat reluctant to believe him.

"The facts will prove my words..." Herman said confidently, "I will use interaction to prove this later. I will go with Newton, just like the hunter pilot, to share the load on the nerves.

"Thank you, that's great," Newton said excitedly.

So the two of them quickly came to the monster cub, told Tony Stark their plans, and got the latter's approval.

It is worth mentioning that because the cub was born prematurely and was strangled by Iron Man for a long time, it died before the two of them arrived.

Even so, there were still a few minutes before complete brain death, enough time for them to interact as much as they wanted.

"Come on." Newton put on the neuro-interaction equipment and said to Hermann beside him, "Let's start, 3,2,1, , ."

Then the two of them entered a strange space of consciousness, and blood slowly flowed out of their nostrils.

"Rosen, what do you think they will see?" Tony Stark, who came out of Iron Man, came to Rosen, opened his visor, took a breath of the slightly fishy air around him and asked.

"We'll have to ask them later." Rosen asked with a smile.

"Rosen, the battle on my side is over. Should we return to Taipingshan Base?" Alita asked.

"Sure." Rosen replied.

Alita immediately stepped into the space bridge and returned to the base.

The teleportation column then took off into the air and flew straight to Rosen's side in the Taipingshan Villa, before being put into the storage compartment.

"These..." Stack-Pendix, who had just hung up the phone, saw the return of the teleportation column and asked with surprise and curiosity on his face. "What are they?"
