Chapter 748: Whomping Willow, Giant Hand of Clay

Not long after, when Rosen was leisurely drinking tea in the carriage reserved for faculty and staff, he occasionally looked up and saw a car flying in the air.

He was not the only one who saw the car.

Any rare thing, as long as one person sees it, will spread quickly, so everyone on the Hogwarts Express saw the car flying high and low and twisting and turning in the air.

"I guess Harry and Ron are in that car. Only they have the courage to drive after us." Hermione Granger leaned against the window, looking at the car in the air and said to Luo Youwei and Laura.

"If it's really them, then Gryffindor will be in big trouble again this time."

Luo Youwei grabbed a handful of melon seeds from her pocket and munched on them while saying, "They drove a car from London Train Station into the sky and followed us all the way here. I wonder how many ordinary people have seen them. Just think about how many Ministry of Magic regulations they have triggered."

"What should we do?" Hermione suddenly became anxious and asked, "Are we just going to watch and not think of a way to help them?"

"Don't worry." Luo Youwei put her arm around her shoulders and pulled her to her side, saying, "As long as Dumbledore is still the headmaster of Hogwarts, no matter how big a mess Harry Potter gets into, nothing will happen."

"Why?" Hermione asked in confusion.

"Maybe it's because Dumbledore owes Harry Potter." Luo Youwei said.

The car ran parallel to the Hogwarts Express for a while before being gradually left behind.

So much so that when other students had already arrived at the banquet hall to enjoy their first big meal after school, Harry Potter and Ron Weasley arrived late in their car.

What was even worse was that although Ron was able to start the car and drive it into the air, he had no idea how to land or stop the car. So, with the two of them screaming in panic, the car crashed into a huge Whomping Willow.

During this period, Ron's magic wand was accidentally broken, which made him very sad.

Something even worse happened immediately afterwards. The Whomping Willow, which was hit by a car, became furious and began to attack the car frantically, waving its branches, and even spared no effort for Harry and Ron.

Just when the two people were panicking and didn't know what to do, they saw a familiar figure walking out of the darkness.

"Help, Mr. Rosen!"

"Hurry up and save us! I swear I will never drive again!"

……

As soon as Harry Potter and Ron Weasley recognized Rosen, they felt like they had seen a savior and shouted for help.

Rosen did not disappoint them. He raised his hand from a distance and made a grabbing motion towards the car that was shaking violently under the crazy beating of the Whomping Willow.

The next moment, the mud on the ground in front of Rosen suddenly surged up and condensed into a huge and powerful palm in an instant. Almost in unison with his hand movements, it grabbed the car on the Whomping Willow, took it down, and put it aside in a safe place.

This is the wizard's hand that Rosen learned from Simon in the world of Grand Theft Auto.

But it was never turned into a skill, so he didn't use it very often.

"Wow!"

Harry Potter and Ron Weasley exclaimed in unison when they saw the giant mud hand put down the car and then scatter the mud on the ground again at Rosen's wave of the hand.

"Mr. Rosen, what kind of magic did you just use?" Harry Potter asked curiously.

"This is not magic." Rosen said with a smile, "It's just a little trick a friend taught me."

Seeing that Harry Potter was very interested and wanted to say something, Rosen immediately said, "If you don't go to the cafeteria and get caught by Filch, Gryffindor might lose points on the first day of school. This is probably not what you want to see, right?"

"of course not."

Harry Potter and Ron Weasley looked at each other, shook their heads at the same time, then picked up their things and left.

At the same time, he did not forget to say: "Thank you, Mr. Rosen, good night."

The two of them rushed into Hogwarts carrying their own boxes and cages containing their pets. After placing their things at the door, they hurried upstairs, still talking about their bad luck along the way.

But before they reached the dining room, they saw Filch standing on the stairs holding the cat.

At this moment, he was looking at them with the cold and complacent eyes of a predator seeing its small prey, which made Harry and Ron shudder.

"Oh, look at you two, this may be... your last time here." Filch said with a bit of joking and gloating: "You are in big trouble."

Harry and Ron were in a lot of trouble. Seven Muggles saw them flying into the sky and causing serious damage to the Whomping Willow...

If you look into it, being fired is nothing.

But with Dumbledore's protection, he would be raised high and then let down gently. The most he could do was write a letter to inform his parents and impose labor service or something as punishment.

These are not issues Rosen needs to worry about.

At this time, he was already taking Laura to taste the sumptuous food in front of them.

"Rosen, who is this?" Someone noticed Laura and asked immediately.

"My niece is temporarily in my care for some reasons." Rosen said casually, "So she will stay with me in Hogwarts for a while."

"Muggles?" someone else asked.

"At the moment, yes," Rosen said.

"Oh, what a pity!" several people said at the same time, and then no one paid attention to Laura anymore.

This is also the attitude of most wizards towards ordinary people. Ignoring them is already very polite.

Laura had been hanging out with Luo Youwei and Hermione for so long, so of course she knew what Muggle meant. Although she hated this title which made her very uncomfortable, she could do nothing about it.

Who can blame her for not having any talent for magic? Otherwise, she could have joined a certain academy and now she is chatting with her classmates while enjoying food.

Since she was not a student, Laura certainly could not live in the dormitory, but she could not live with Rosen either, so Rosen found her a room next to his own dormitory.

Although Filch didn't dare say anything after knowing this, he couldn't help but grumble to his cat in private, full of dissatisfaction, as if Rosen had taken advantage of him.

However, when he heard from somewhere that Laura was a Muggle, his attitude improved a lot, and he would occasionally force a smile on his skinny face when he saw Laura.

At first, Rosen suspected that this guy was holding back something, but later he understood: Maybe this is the so-called mentality of being a fellow sufferer in the world.

After all, Filch is a well-known Squib in Hogwarts. As a child from a magical family, he has no talent for magic. His situation in the magical world is even worse than that of Muggles.

It is no wonder that he is always sarcastic to students and enjoys finding them making mistakes. Besides his duty, there must be some envy and jealousy involved.
