Chapter 743: Sailing, a Desperate Talent

Rosen didn't lie.

He actually bought a sailboat last time he came.

It was about thirty meters long, neither big nor small, and he named it Diana.

Since it was a new boat and he had hardly used it before, there were not many necessities such as food and water on board.

However, Rosen did not take Luo Youwei and Laura to frantically purchase all the supplies needed for the voyage, but leisurely sailed out of the harbor.

In the port, Rosen tried not to make any big moves in order not to attract attention.

But when they entered the vast ocean and saw almost no ships nearby, he asked, "Weiwei, do you want to learn how to steer the ship?"

"Okay." Luo Youwei walked over happily, and Laura was also interested in this.

So Rosen carefully taught Luo Youwei and Laura some steering skills, and finally asked: "Do you understand?"

"I understand." The two girls nodded.

"Very good." Rosen smiled and said, "As the saying goes, knowledge gained from books is shallow, and true knowledge can only be gained through practice. I have just taught you the theoretical knowledge, and now we need to practice it. Who will go first?"

"Me." Laura said excitedly.

Luo Youwei stood aside, looked at her with sympathy, shook her head imperceptibly, and secretly sighed for her naivety in her heart.

"Then it's you, Captain Laura." Rosen casually grabbed a captain's hat in the air. He put it on Laura and said solemnly, "Come on, whether we can reach our destination smoothly depends on you."

"I will definitely not let you down." Laura answered loudly.

Rosen was relieved now. After handing the rudder to Laura, he pulled a rocking chair to the deck to bask in the sun. At the same time, he waved his hand and activated his skill: You are the wind, summoning gusts of sea breeze, blowing the Diana across the sea at an extremely high speed.

"Dad, you are so cunning." Luo Youwei walked over at this time.

He followed suit and pulled out a rocking chair from his bag and placed it next to Rosen. He then put on a pair of sunglasses before lying down and whispered, "You just fooled around and found a free laborer. You are simply exploiting child labor."

"Stop it." Rosen glanced at her and said seriously, "I just gave Laura a chance to forget the sadness in her heart by busy work. If you don't appreciate me, forget it. Why do you say such harsh words?"

"What about me?" Luo Youwei looked at Luo Sen and said, "What would you say if I was the first one to raise my hand just now?"

"Of course, it's good to have many skills." Rosen said seriously, "You may go to a different world with your father in the future. It's good to have more skills."

"Dad, I think you are fooling me, but I can't find any evidence." Luo Youwei felt that what Rosen said made sense, but when she thought of the way he tricked her and Laura into steering the ship for him, she felt that his words were watered down.

"Oh my God! Is there still basic trust in this world?" Rosen immediately showed a look of grief and indignation. He grabbed a straw hat from the storage compartment and put it on his face, saying, "I'm sad. I don't want to play with you anymore. Go to sleep!"

Seeing him like this, Luo Youwei couldn't tell whether he was really sad or just pretending to be sad. She approached him suspiciously and happened to see the corners of his mouth raised under the straw hat. She immediately understood everything and said in feigned anger, "Ha! Dad, you are teasing me again."

"Shh, don't be so loud." Rosen whispered, "It would be bad if Laura heard it."

"Dad, you're so bad." Luo Youwei rolled her eyes at Rosen and went towards Laura.

Of course, it's just a joke. It's okay to play tricks on children for fun. Of course, we can't really let Luo Youwei and Laura be at the helm all the time. Not to mention the fatigue, it would be even worse if they got tanned.

In the world of Pirates of the Caribbean, Rosen once traveled around half of the globe on a sailboat.

It is definitely not a difficult task to do it again now. With the sea breeze that comes and goes at will, the speed of a sailboat on the sea is not necessarily slower than that of a yacht.

Although the Diana is not big, there is a lot of work to do on board.

In fact, Rosen doesn't even have to do anything himself, he can just use telekinesis to get everything done.

However, he assigned a large part of the work to Luo Youwei and Laura, and gave it a beautiful name: to make them suffer in mind and body... and to increase their abilities.

Although Luo Youwei and Laura are only in their teens now, they are both adult souls. Neither of them was brought up in a pampered environment, so they have no resistance to working.

In fact, doing some work from time to time made them feel particularly fulfilled during the rest of the voyage.

Especially Luo Youwei, in addition to exercising her body, she would occasionally use magic to take a break, which was equivalent to indirectly exercising the use of magic.

Rosen saw it clearly, but pretended to know nothing.

As for Laura, she did try to learn a few simple magic spells from Luo Youwei. Unfortunately, although she was always smart, she seemed to have no talent in this area. No matter how hard she tried, she could not perform magic successfully.

Even when Luo Youwei took out her magic wand which she had not used for a long time and gave it to Laura, it still had no effect.

Looking at Laura who was casting the spell with a refusing to admit defeat, Luo Youwei looked up at Rosen, but saw a helpless and smiling face.

In the evening, while Laura was taking a shower, Luo Youwei came to Rosen and whispered, "Laura doesn't have any magical talent at all, does she?"

"Don't you already have the answer in your heart?" Rosen said.

"I didn't expect it to be like this." Luo Youwei sighed and said, "This is too cruel for her."

"It's just that she can't learn magic. It's not as serious as you say." Rosen said: "Even if Laura can't learn magic, she may be able to shine in other things. For example, exploration."

"Can I really do it?" Laura's voice came from the cabin at this time.

Rosen and Luo Youwei looked at each other, looking a little embarrassed.

Laura had just taken a shower, her hair was still a little wet, and she had a faint fragrance on her body.

She sat next to Luo Youwei, took her hand, looked at Rosen and said, "Actually, I had been confused for a long time before I came here. I was always confused, but unfortunately I couldn't figure it out."

"What's wrong?" Rosen asked.

"After my dad and I returned to London, life did change. For example, I no longer had to deliver food on the streets and had a lot of money to spend. I no longer had to worry about the cost of learning martial arts."

Laura smiled, but the sadness between her brows seemed to be a little more intense than before.

"But some things remain the same. For example, Anna Miller is still kept in the company by my father. And my father doesn't seem to doubt her at all. He still trusts her and has no intention of kicking her out."

"Maybe he has his own considerations." Rosen said lightly.

"If that's all, then just ignore her if you don't like her." Luo Youwei said.

"Of course it's not just that." Laura sighed and ruffled her hair in annoyance, like an angry little lion. "He also arranged for me to study in Cambridge."

"Isn't this good?" Luo Youwei said in surprise; "Why should I be unhappy about this?"
