Chapter 414: Caged Beast, Hulk, and Friends

Even though Thaddeus Ross ordered his men to switch to the backup channel, it had no effect on Noisy, and it was almost seamlessly connected, allowing him to do whatever he wanted.

"Rosen, what should I do?" Bruce Banner was wearing the same Bluetooth headset as Rothenberg, so he naturally heard General Ross's order.

"You should run!" Rosen said.

"Betty, run, stay away from me, the farther the better." Bruce Banner shouted.

"But..." Betty Ross hesitated.

"Don't argue with me, just go." Bruce Banner said seriously and urgently: "Go!"

Having said that, he turned and ran.

He didn't dare to run to the first floor at this moment, because the so-called Team B would definitely break in from the main entrance. Unless he wanted to be caught by them or start a killing spree in rage, he could only avoid the attack temporarily.

So Bruce Banner walked straight to the stairs and asked loudly: "Rosen, where are you?"

"On the roof of the building on the side." Rosen's voice came through clearly, as steady as if he was chatting with friends on a leisurely afternoon, without a trace of panic at all.

"Help me." Bruce Banner was still running frantically while speaking.

He didn't know if it was because he was in a panic or it was fate, but he ran all the way and actually walked into the overpass leading to a building next door from the corridor on the side of the stairwell.

But he was unlucky because the way ahead was blocked by several murderous soldiers holding rifles. When he ran back along the road, the pursuers came from behind and closed the door of the passage.

At this moment, he was on the overpass connecting two buildings, but he felt like a beast that had accidentally gotten into a glass iron cage, with no way to escape.

"Wait a moment, we'll be there soon." Rosen's voice came again, which made the frightened Bruce Banner feel a little more at ease.

But at this moment, Thaddeus Ross ordered his men to fire tear gas into the overpass.

And that wasn't the worst thing for Bruce.

What almost made him lose control was that he saw from afar Betty trying to plead with her father, but was rudely rejected. So she wanted to rush over, but was roughly pressed to the ground by a soldier.

At this moment, an intense, completely uncontrollable rage suddenly burst out from the depths of Bruce Banner's heart and instantly enveloped his entire body.

His eyes suddenly turned green.

"Bruce, I'm here, are you okay?!" Rosen's voice came from behind him.

"I'm fine." Bruce's voice became different from before, and green veins began to appear on his body.

He looked at the lawn opposite the overpass and tried his best to control his voice and said, "Rosen, thank you for coming over, but please leave now, the farther away from me the better."

"why?"

"I'm afraid I might hurt you." Bruce used his remaining rationality and said, "Go quickly."

"Don't worry." Rosen said, "I should be able to become friends with Hulk."

"Ho."

Bruce Banner could no longer control himself as he roared. His muscles suddenly grew larger all over his body, completely tearing his shirt apart, and his feet suddenly grew larger, bursting his shoes.

The only thing left on him at this moment was his tattered pants. Although they had become cropped pants, at least they could hold his own.

"Hey, Hulk, my name is Rosen. I'm Bruce's friend, and I hope to be friends with you too." Rosen said as he extended his hand to Hulk.

Snapped.

Hulk slapped Rosen's hand away without any gratitude, but did not continue to attack him. Instead, he roared, smashed the overpass, and rushed towards Betty on the lawn.

Perhaps, Betty is the only person that both Bruce and Hulk care about.

Everyone was shocked when they saw the tall, muscular, green-skinned wild giant whose roars were like thunder.

"She will see the truth." Thaddeus Ross murmured, then picked up the walkie-talkie and said, "Team A, open fire."

So a team that had been lying in ambush in the distance began to fire wildly at Hulk.

The dense rain of bullets was enough to tear an ordinary person into pieces in an instant, but it couldn't even hurt Hulk's green skin.

Hulk shielded his head and face with one hand and rushed forward with the other hand against the rain of bullets.

At this time, Rosen appeared on the roof of the building again, picked up the sniper rifle of the unconscious sniper, took a look and found that it was still loaded with anesthetic bullets, and immediately understood Thaddeus Ross's plan.

Obviously, when he first set up the trap, he was thinking of anesthetizing and capturing Bruce Banner alive before he transformed.

But now that the situation has changed, he can't care so much.

"You're lucky." Rosen said, raised his gun, glanced casually below and started firing.

In his hands, the bolt-action sniper rifle has a firing rate just as fast as a semi-automatic rifle.

What's more important is that even though the distance from his position to the lawn was at least 1,400 to 1,500 meters, his accuracy never deviated at all.

Each soldier was shot in the right arm and then fell to the ground after being anesthetized.

Not only Team A and Team B who had just evacuated from the Department of Biological Sciences building, but even the soldiers surrounding Betty Ross fell to the ground one after another.

Such a scene was truly horrifying, especially for the soldiers present, it was far more terrifying than facing the big green guy.

Because only those who have been to the battlefield will understand how terrifying it is to be targeted by a sniper who never misses.

At the same time, Hulk, who was holding a Hummer and throwing it on the ground, also noticed this scene. A smile appeared on his ferocious face and he said, "Friend! Hulk!"

After saying that, he kicked a Hummer next to him and sent it flying, causing a series of collisions and even a fire and explosion.

The loud noise here attracted the attention of students from Culver University, and many brave ones started recording with their mobile phones.

Thaddeus Ross knew he couldn't delay any longer, and immediately ordered, "Bronsky, you go!"

Emil Bronsky, who had been eager to try, immediately took an M-32 revolver grenade launcher and said: Cover me.

Then he stepped forward and rushed towards Hulk, pulling the trigger at the same time. A 40mm grenade hit Hulk's back solidly, causing it to turn around suddenly.

Thaddeus Ross saw that Bronski had temporarily restrained the green monster, and immediately said, "Where's the attack helicopter?! Kill the sniper on the roof."

On the lawn, the battle between Hulk and Emil Bronsky continues.

After Bronski emptied his M-32, he could only attack Hulk with his pistol, but it was not even a tickle to the latter.

At this moment, two strange cars rushed onto the lawn, one on the left and one on the right facing the open area ahead.

There is a big thing shaped like a giant loudspeaker on each car.

This is the sonic bubble wave that Ross customized at Stark Industries to deal with the Hulk. (Note)
