Chapter 406: Becoming a Bear for Friendship
"Excuse me, although you are very strong, it is unlikely that you can defeat the Decepticons."
Bruce obviously knew what Decepticons were and how tall they were. Looking at Rosen, who was just over 1.8 meters tall and just under 1.9 meters tall, he couldn't believe that he could kill a Decepticon.
"Are you brave?" Rosen suddenly asked.
"Of course." Bruce Banner thought of the grumpy guy hidden in his body and said, "I haven't known what fear is for a long time."
"Then would you be surprised when you see something beyond your normal cognition?" Rosen asked again.
"No." Bruce Banner shook his head again, but thought to himself: Is there anything scarier than the Hulk?
"That's good." Rosen stood up and took off his coat. Then he said to Bruce Banner, "You can scream if you are scared, but don't blink."
After saying that, he directly activated his skill: Bear Man Transformation.
Almost in an instant, without any painful roar, earth-shaking roar, or any dazzling flashes of light or other special effects, Rosen turned into a giant bear man that was 3 meters tall, weighed at least 1 ton, and covered with smooth brown hair all over his body.
"Wow! Wow!" Bruce Banner stared at this magical scene in amazement, and kept uttering "wow" subconsciously. His heartbeat soared from the usual eighty or ninety beats to one hundred and seventy or eighty beats.
But it was not out of fear or anger, but excitement.
Because at this moment, he looked at the bear man that Rosen had turned into in front of him, and suddenly felt that he was not a monster.
At least, he is not a lonely loner in this world, but has extraordinary people like Rosen walking with him.
This made him feel safe and warm in his heart.
"Bruce Banner's favorability towards you has increased by 50. Your relationship has become a solid friendship. He is more tolerant of you and will not get angry easily even if there are some arguments."
"Hulk's favorability towards you is +80. He considers you a friend and likes your cute and fluffy appearance."
When Rosen saw the first message, he was quite happy. When he saw the second message, he suddenly had the urge to swear. He was now a majestic bear man. What did fluffy and cute have to do with him? !
Rosen wanted to poke the green Hulk in the chest and ask him word by word: "What does it have to do with him?"
The next moment, Rosen revoked his bear-man transformation, walked up to Bruce Banner, who was still stunned, and said, "How is it? Are you scared?"
"No." Bruce Banner shook his head and said, "Really, no, you look very majestic and powerful, no wonder you were able to defeat the Decepticons."
"Rosen, thank you for trusting me and revealing your secret to me. I toast to you."
As he said this, he picked up the bottle and clinked his glasses with Rosen.
"For friendship."
"For friendship."
After they drank more than half a bottle of beer each, Bruce Banner couldn't help but ask, "I'm just a little curious, how did you do it? Or, what caused your condition?"
Bruce Banner seemed to be worried that Rosen might be unhappy, so he said a little embarrassedly: "You know, I used to be a scientist, so I always want to study everything to its fullest. If I offend you, please don't mind."
"That's not the case." Rosen shook his head and said, "We are friends now. Just ask whatever you want to ask. There's no need to be shy."
"What is the reason?" asked Bruce Banner.
"My situation is rather special, it's more like a talent," Rosen replied.
This is not a lie. After all, the skills granted by the system do seem to be innate, and they come naturally and there is no reason to explain them.
This was obviously not the answer Bruce Banner wanted to hear, and he was immediately disappointed.
But Rosen knew what he wanted to hear, and immediately said, "But I have seen vampires and werewolves caused by other reasons, which may give you some inspiration for your research."
"Please tell me in detail." Bruce Banner immediately became interested and looked at Rosen with burning eyes, as if he was listening attentively.
If he was holding a pen and a notebook instead of a half-drunk beer, it would look more like he was doing scientific research.
"As early as the beginning of the fifth century, the Duke of Hungary, Alexander Corvinus, was infected by the plague and activated the undead gene in his body. He became the first and most powerful undead and possessed the pure Corvinus undead gene that had not mutated."
"Between the middle and the end of the fifth century, he had three children..." Rosen tells the origin of Underworld in a storytelling tone.
He doesn't care whether there are vampires and werewolves in this world, as long as the story is true.
After finishing the part of the story he had experienced before, Rosen looked at Bruce Banner and said, "This is what I know about the origins of vampires and werewolves. I wonder if it is helpful to you?"
"Do you think they can ever return to normal?" asked Bruce Banner.
"I can't say whether the Alexander-Covenas family can recover. After all, their genes are different. This is innate."
Rosen took a sip of beer and said, "But I think there is a way to restore those vampires and werewolves who were bitten by Marcus Corvinus and William Corvinus and infected by the viruses in their bodies to normal."
"How to do it?" Bruce Banner looked at Rosen expectantly and excitedly.
"It's very simple. Since the mutation is caused by the virus infection, eliminating the virus will naturally solve most of the problems. (Note)" Rosen said lightly.
"That's true, but as far as I know, the virus is still difficult to solve," said Bruce Banner.
"It just so happens that I have a solution." Rosen took out a bottle of antidote and placed it on the table. "This potion can remove all toxins. It happens that the viruses in the blood of vampires and werewolves are also included in it. So as long as you drink a bottle, the problem of infection will naturally be solved."
"Really?" Bruce Banner looked at the inky black potion in the exquisite bottle on the table. He hoped that what Rosen said was true, but the various knowledge he had learned over the years made him feel that this matter sounded unreliable.
"It's no use just talking." Rosen pushed the antidote in front of him and said, "Here you go. You can verify it yourself and you'll know whether it's true or not."
"Then I'll go back and test it. If it's really as you said, it would be great." Bruce Banner clinked his beer bottle with Rosen and said, "I toast to you."
