Chapter 387: The answer to the mystery: saving the world is just a by-product
As soon as he came in, Tony glanced around and was stunned.
He never imagined that there were so many Transformers buried behind this ancient city built 2600 years ago.
Judging from their size and appearance, they seem to be different from the Transformers that have appeared before, and appear to be more ancient.
"Rosen, is it time to tell me the answer to the riddle?" Tony said.
Rosen looked down at the leadership certificate on the ground, and his eyes suddenly lit up.
This is a spindle-shaped body with sharp bends at both ends. It does not look like a leadership module, but more like a weapon that can be used for fighting and killing. (Note)
Considering that it would break if touched in the original plot, Rosen didn't even pick it up with his hands. He just used teleportation to pick it up and stuffed it into the storage compartment.
When the Leader's Certificate entered the storage compartment, Rosen, who had been worried that he would not be able to take it away, secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
From this we can see that this thing is the same as the previous fire source. Since it has been broken in the plot, it cannot be taken out of the world like the space gem.
Then, while Rosen collected the bodies of the surrounding super leaders one by one, he said to Tony: "As far as I know, Transformers did not appear on Earth in recent years, but visited Earth a long, long time ago."
"It is said that the first generation of Transformers came here millions of years ago, when we humans were still eating raw meat and drinking blood."
"You're not saying that Transformers also contributed to the evolution of mankind, are you?" Tony lifted his mask and looked at Rosen, asking suspiciously, "Could it be that human civilization is also related to them?"
"No." Rosen shook his head and said, "You think too much. The Transformers are just passers-by. Their purpose of coming here is to collect energy blocks."
"What is an energy block?" Tony asked curiously.
"It is the source of our life, just like the food you humans eat, the water you drink, and the air you breathe." The Wheel explained: "Without energy blocks, we will oxidize, rust, rot, and die completely."
"So important!?" Tony was surprised, and then asked: "How to collect it?"
"Get it by destroying stars." Rosen said.
"Destroy stars?!" Tony was startled, then his eyes widened and he said, "They want to destroy the sun?!"
"That's right." Rosen pointed outside and said, "Somewhere in the desert, the ancestors of the Transformers built a machine to get energy blocks after destroying the sun."
"Then why didn't it work?" Tony asked, looking at the wheel.
"I don't know either." Zhuanlun shook his head and shrugged, "I'm too young. I don't know about these legendary ancient events."
"Initially, there were seven Transformers leaders who went into the universe to search for stars in other galaxies." (Note 7)
"These super leaders had a principle: never destroy a planet with life, but then one of them violated this principle."
"This guy destroyed the star system because he ignored the life in it. The super leaders were very dissatisfied with his behavior that violated the principle of protecting life, and stipulated that in the future, stars must be destroyed after discussion by everyone."
"Fallen Kong didn't buy it. He secretly copied a leadership module and built an absorption tower in a star system with life."
"But the unstable energy of the privately built leadership module caused it to be caught in a sea of fire and almost died. The super leaders dismissed it and called it the Fallen King Kong."
"Fallen Kong confessed his guilt to other super leaders on the surface, but in fact he was secretly destroying star systems one after another to absorb energy and use it to increase his own strength."
"Finally, he built a stellar energy absorption tower on Earth, plotted to lure the other six super leaders to Earth, waited for an opportunity to kill them all, and thus seized the leadership module." (Note 6)
"Its actions were met with fierce opposition from the Transformers on Earth at the time. Just as the Super Leaders arrived, a life-and-death battle broke out between the two sides."
"Finally, the Fallen Kong was defeated and sealed in a triangular sarcophagus. In order to prevent the leadership module from falling into the hands of the Fallen Kong again, the only remaining super leader built a tomb with the bodies of his dead companions and sacrificed his own life to seal the leadership module in the tomb."
At this point, Rosen pointed around and said, "This is the tomb."
"What you just took away was the leadership module?" Tony asked.
"Yes." Rosen nodded.
"Since these are the secrets of the Transformers, even it doesn't know them." Tony pointed at the wheel and then asked, "How do you know them?"
"I naturally have my own intelligence channels."
Rosen said: "The Fallen King Kong is now eyeing the Earth again, and the key to opening the star energy absorption tower is the leadership module. I can use the leadership module as bait to lure it over and then kill it in one fell swoop..."
"Since it concerns the survival of the Earth, I should also take part in it." Tony said, "How can I save the world without Iron Man?"
"I'm not as great as you say. Saving the world is just a side job." Rosen sneered, "The reason I want to kill the Fallen Kong and other Decepticons is just because I'm upset that they dared to harass my daughter."
"What are you going to do next?" Tony asked.
"Find the stellar energy absorption tower, release the bait, and wait for the Fallen King Kong to come and seek death." Rosen said, and immediately initiated the teleportation.
When they appeared again, the two appeared near the Sphinx. Looking up, they could see the Pyramid of Khafre, with some limestone decorations preserved on the top, as well as the Pyramid of Menkaure and the Pyramid of Khufu in the distance.
Rosen immediately recognized the Pyramid of Khafre as the one that contained the stellar energy absorption tower in the original plot. He immediately teleported to its vicinity and summoned the poisonous flower vine again. He said, "Go in and dig a passage."
The poisonous vine nodded and then shrank back into the ground.
"Rosen, be careful. There are meteorites falling towards us at a speed of 10,000 meters per second." Tony suddenly reminded loudly, "Should we hide first?"
"Those are not meteorites." Rosen looked up at the blazing fireballs streaking across the sky and heading towards him, and said, "They are Decepticons."
At this moment, Rosen's intercom on his waist suddenly rang: "Commander, a large number of Decepticons are heading in your direction. They said they want to tear you apart to avenge their companions."
"Isolate all Decepticon communications now." Rosen ordered, "Can you do it?"
"Make sure to complete the mission."
Boom.
A Decepticon-turned meteorite, trailing a long trail of flames and thick smoke, bombarded Rosen directly.
Rosen certainly wouldn't stand far away and get hit.
He immediately teleported away, but he didn't go far away.
Seeing the meteorite fall to the ground and create a huge sand pit, a Decepticon who had returned to his original state jumped out of it and rushed straight towards him. He immediately took out a cruel hand cannon and emptied a magazine of bullets at it.
