What can change in eight days?

Zhang Tian can tell you that this can change a lot.

Inside the Yangcheng Arsenal, the transformed workshops are now bustling with activity.

The site is clean and tidy, and the new bullet production line has been set up.

Seeing that the new factory manager said that the changes were real, the workers began to look at Zhang Tian with admiration.

This is really a practical thing to do.

Copper-clad steel bullets are also being prepared for launch.

The medium frequency furnace was completed two days ago. The copper block was successfully melted and the copper-clad steel sheet was obtained by a simple electroplating method.

This is the main material of copper-clad steel bullets.

In the center of the workshop, there are rows of modified equipment, all of which have been upgraded and modified using the system's data parameters during this period of time.

It can be considered as recycling of waste, as these machines are no longer usable.

They're just sitting there gathering dust.

When the last machine was moved to its designated location, Zhang Tian smiled.

Been busy for so many days.

Now, it's time to test the results.

The factory workers also followed Zhang Tian's arrangements, arrived at their respective posts, and waited for the front end to start.

Zhang Tian looked at everyone and then shouted, "Director Qin, let's get started."

Qin Dongtian nodded.

Then he walked to the tablet press and pressed the switch.

The roar of the machines was heard, and the workers put the processed copper-clad steel sheets into the first process.

Tablet processing.

These materials were only roughly processed at the beginning, and the thickness parameter requirements were definitely not met.

This requires secondary processing.

As the copper-clad steel sheets flow out of the tablet press, they are quickly transferred to the punching machine below via a conveyor belt.

The worker simply uses a long stick to correct the position of the steel sheet on the conveyor belt so that it can smoothly enter the mold of the stamping machine.

Bang...bang...

The huge punching machine with a five-ton pressure capacity makes a rhythmic thumping sound, punching the copper-clad steel sheet into the preliminary shape of the bullet casing.

Then the factory on one side took out the bullet casings of this shape, and when the basket was full, they were taken to the next workstation.

The next step is cutting. According to the set specifications, the stamped copper-clad steel strips are cut into bullet casings.

This is just a blank shape. The next step is to start processing the cartridge case. The workers on the side skillfully put the cut cartridge case blanks onto the conveyor belt and enter the next process of pickling.

In the pickling tank, the cartridge cases are chemically treated to remove surface impurities and oxides and increase the shelf life of the bullets.

Then we came to the phosphating area.

This is to ensure that a uniform protective film can be formed on the surface of the copper-clad steel to improve the lubricity and rust resistance of the bullet.

The processed cartridge case is then sent to the stretching machine. With the continuous processing of the stretching die, the cartridge case gradually becomes longer and thinner, slowly taking on the prototype of a bullet.

Then comes annealing.

This is to prevent excessive stress from causing the elastic body to deform and rupture.

The annealed cartridge case arrives at the closing station.

The workers adjust the closing mold, and then the machine gradually shrinks the mouth of the cartridge case to form a standard size and shape, and then the cartridge case is transferred to the machine for punching the firing hole.

The punch accurately punches out two symmetrical fire-transmitting holes next to the firing platform, which will directly affect the firing rate of the bullet.

Then there is the bottom processing area.

Use tools to make depressions and flat bottoms, carefully shape the various parts of the primer chamber, and press the corresponding factory number on the bottom of the cartridge case.

Then the warhead is pressed together. The workers carefully assemble the warhead and the shell accurately and press them with a press.

A set of bullets was completed, fifty in total.

The whole process was extremely smooth.

Zhang Tian picked up a few bullets and looked at them, then picked up the measuring tool and checked the size, thickness and surface of the bullet casing.

The results were also quite satisfying.

They all meet the parameter requirements of copper-clad steel bullets.

Qin Dongtian looked at the bullets rolling off the production line, his face crooked with smiles. He didn't expect that the changes that the new factory director Zhang talked about would really happen.

Look at the current production rate.

This is better than what we had before.

He smiled and said, "Director Zhang, this is amazing. How did you come up with this idea? With this production speed, you can produce 10,000 to 18,000 units a day. Isn't that like playing?"

"I just don't know if the power of this bullet will be the same as before."

Zhang Tian smiled when he heard that.

He said, "Director Qin, if you want to know how this bullet works, why don't you try it and find out?"

Qin Dongtian nodded: "Director Zhang, let's try it outside. We also have guns in our factory."

Most factories nowadays have some equipment, so it is not surprising to have pistols.

What's more, it is an arsenal.

On the factory playground, Qin Dongtian asked someone to set up a target, then loaded the bullets into the magazine, ready to start the test.

Zhang Tian just stood aside.

He wanted to try it last time, but Qin Dongtian wouldn't let him.

And said it was unsafe.

Qin Dongtian raised his gun and fired several bullets at the target.

"Bang bang bang..."

All the bullets in a magazine hit the target accurately.

The head became a mess.

Putting down the gun, Qin Dongtian nodded with satisfaction.

This copper-coated steel bullet is indeed much better than the previous ones.

The lubricity, shooting speed, and ductility are all much improved compared to previous steel bullets.

"Director Zhang, this new bullet is indeed better than our previous bullets. It fires smoothly, unlike the previous bullets, which would jam during firing."

Zhang Tian just looked at Qin Dongtian with a smile.

Could it be bad?

What I am using now is the technology and production methods from later generations.

Qin Dongtian looked at the remaining bullets used for testing and suddenly felt emotional.

It would have been great if this kind of production technology had been available a decade ago.

He is an old soldier who joined the army more than three decades ago. He has fought small battles and been a bald man. It can be said that he has gone through a lot of blood and gore along the way.

Apart from anything else, he had no idea how many battles he had fought due to the shortage of bullets.

What to do when the bullets are used up?

Fight with bayonets, or pick up a carrying pole and charge forward.

During these ten years of military service, I have seen off so many brothers.

He couldn't quite remember this.

Even now, they are still short of ammunition and still face a huge gap.

This also has a lot to do with the current growth of the team.

The current team has a total of 5.5 million people, which is the largest scale on Blue Star.

Each person is equipped with 100 rounds of bullets as standard, that's how much.

Five hundred and fifty million.

The current rabbit industry base is not capable of supplying such a large quantity.

Less than one tenth.

The existing ones will be supplied to the front-line troops first.

That’s why someone came up with a note asking for bullets a few days ago.

However, Qin Dongtian discovered that now all the problems of the Yangcheng Arsenal seemed to have been solved.

In the past, the factory could only produce a few bullets a day. At most, it could produce more than 500 bullets a day, and that was when all the people were on duty.

Now there are only ten people, and they can produce more than 500 rounds an hour.

The daily production capacity is five to six thousand rounds.

Those 20,000 rounds of bullets are not a problem at all.

Back in the workshop, Qin Dongtian immediately arranged for people to pack the produced bullet points and then put them into storage.

He is full of energy now.

Seeing that he no longer needed to watch over the place, Zhang Tian gave a few instructions and left the workshop.

I returned to my office and just sat down when the voice of the system came into my mind.

"Ding, congratulations to the host for completing the production task of copper-clad steel bullets and obtaining a redemption value of 3000 points."

Is this a reward?

When Zhang Tian heard this, he quickly called up the system from his mind and started checking it.

With an exchange value of three thousand points, there are many things that can be exchanged.

There are also three items of weapons and equipment that can be exchanged for production, but Zhang Tian turned his attention to the machinery.

What he wanted to exchange was the precision machine tool above.

The precision machine tools above almost made him drool.

As the saying goes, if you want to do your job well, you must first sharpen your tools.

Only with these precision machine tools can we better develop other equipment and improve efficiency.

You can't just rub it with your hands.

He couldn't accept this approach, and probably even God couldn't accept it.

I put you here and gave you a system like this, and you actually rely on your hands?

God might get so angry that he would send down a thunderbolt and strike him far away from the thirty-three heavens.

Zhang Tian flipped through the system pages a few times, and then directly exchanged the data of the confidential machine tool.

Next, we started researching this.
