In the interrogation room of the Dali Temple, Master Xuanhong sat cross-legged on the ground, holding Buddhist beads in his hands, and chanting Buddhist scriptures with his eyes closed.

Xiao Mubei and Chu Yunxi saved his face and did not put him in chains. It was also because Xuande was persuaded by him that he did not continue to resist. Otherwise, if a fight really broke out, there were many martial monks in Guanyin Temple, and it would probably take a lot of effort to capture the two brothers Xuanhong and Xuande.

If that were the case, the Guanyin Temple would probably be destroyed, and the casualties among the monks and pilgrims in the temple would be incalculable.

The capital camp also needs to be dispatched. This incident will alarm the imperial palace and the entire capital, causing very bad consequences.

Fortunately, Master Xuanhong suppressed the whole thing by himself. It seems that he did not agree with Xuande's crazy behavior.

Xiao Mubei and Chu Yunxi walked into the interrogation room and signaled the jailers to go out, leaving only Baiyu and Heimu to stay guarding the door.

Master Xuanhong never opened his eyes. His face was calm and he just chanted scriptures softly. He still looked like a great monk.

Chu Yunxi asked: "Master, please tell us what is going on."

The chanting stopped, Master Xuan Hong slowly opened his eyes and looked at the ground. After a long while, he slowly said, "This matter has to start from when the master picked us up."

Master Xuanhong and Xuande were both children who were abandoned at a young age. At that time, the Guanyin Temple actually only had a shabby thatched hut, a small statue of Guanyin, and only Zen Master Daoyuan.

Master Xuanhong was picked up first. He was three years old at that time, so he stayed in Guanyin Temple with Zen Master Daoyuan. The master and disciple depended on each other for survival. When Xuanhong was eight years old, they picked up Xuande, who was just born not long ago, in the mountains.

Life was already difficult for two people, so how could they feed a baby? Zen Master Daoyuan caught a leopard that had just given birth in the mountains and used the leopard's milk to feed Xuande.

During that time, there were people and leopards in the small Guanyin Temple. Xuande grew up with the little leopards. It was not until he was one year old and able to eat that Zen Master Daoyuan released the leopards back into the mountains.

Later, little Xuanhong followed Zen Master Daoyuan to grow and sell vegetables, and he also brought Xuande with him. The master and disciple got up before dawn every day to practice martial arts and attend morning classes. After class, they carried Xuande down the mountain to sell vegetables. They came back in the evening and studied. Their days were very fulfilling.

After Xuande grew up, the master and his two disciples continued to live like this, and this kind of life continued until Xuande was ten years old.

Once, Xuande fell seriously ill. Zen Master Daoyuan and Master Xuanhong carried him down the mountain overnight and knocked on the doors of almost all the clinics in the capital. However, no one was willing to treat Xuande because they had no money. Little Xuande almost died. He was drowsy as he watched his always indifferent master begging the doctor in the clinic, but was ruthlessly driven out. His heart was filled with sadness.

Finally, a doctor was willing to save Xuande's life for free, and he finally survived. From then on, Zen Master Daoyuan began to preach Buddhism on the streets of the capital every day. He went from being ignored to being popular, and he did this for a full five years.

Guanyin Temple finally became famous, and as a result, there were wealthy families who prayed for children and got them. Word spread from one person to another, and gradually, all those who wanted to have children went to Guanyin Temple, and some even came from far away places.

After getting the money, Zen Master Daoyuan and his two brothers rebuilt the Guanyin Temple to its current size, and more pilgrims came since then.

But the master was getting older and older, and his health was not as good as before. Xuande was very anxious. The fact that his master took him to seek medical treatment everywhere was deeply engraved in his mind. After he recovered, he swore that he would be filial to his master in this life. The master gave him two lives, and he would repay his master no matter what.

So he began to read books desperately, trying to find a method that could make people live longer or even bring the dead back to life.

Zen Master Daoyuan eventually passed away. Although Master Xuanhong was sad, he knew that this was the law of nature and the final destination of mankind. He buried Zen Master Daoyuan and made a statue for him. The disciples in the temple held morning prayers in front of the statue every morning so that Zen Master Daoyuan could see that everything was fine in Guanyin Temple.

But Xuande could never accept the departure of his master. He read more frantically, searching for various books from all over the place, hoping to find a way to bring the dead back to life.

Finally one day, he came to Master Xuanhong with great excitement and said that he had finally found a way to resurrect his master. Master Xuanhong took a look and found that this was a book about the three souls and seven spirits of a person and their destination after death. It said that after a person dies, the three souls and seven spirits will still wander in the world for a long time. Death is only the death of the physical body. If the three souls and seven spirits can be gathered at this time, the person may be resurrected.

But this method can only be performed on people with unstable souls. Whoever has an unstable soul can give birth to a child!

Yin-born children come out of the stomach of a dead person and are originally connected to yin and yang. Such people are most suitable as carriers to absorb souls wandering in the world. This book records in detail that if one wants to gather three souls and seven spirits, one has to find ten Yin-born children, each of whom raises one soul or one spirit. After the soul and spirit are stable, the Ten Yin Formation can be used to extract the soul and spirit of one of them and replace it with the soul of the person you want to resurrect, and then the person can be successfully resurrected.

After reading it, Master Xuanhong said to Xuande that this was an evil book and the way it was written was totally unreliable. Not to mention where to find so many Yin-born children, even if they were found, the master's soul had already drifted away to who knows where, so how could they be gathered together?

But Xuande seemed to have grasped the only life-saving straw, and said to Master Xuanhong, "Nothing is difficult in the world as long as one is determined. Brother, don't you want Master to be resurrected?"

Master Xuanhong naturally also wanted to resurrect his master. He had spent more time with his master than Xuande, and their feelings were naturally deep. Although he did not believe that this method could resurrect the dead, he could not help but hold on to a glimmer of hope and wanted to see if it could succeed.

People who practice Buddhism originally believed in ghosts and gods. If there were no ghosts and gods, how could there be Buddha? So Master Xuan Hong did not stop Xuan De. At first, Xuan De was looking for Yin Sheng Zi everywhere. Later, he felt that this method was too slow. One day, he suddenly had an idea. If Yin Sheng Zi was so hard to find, why not create one himself?

Once this idea came up, it was out of control. Finally one day, when he saw a young couple going up the mountain to fulfill a vow and the wife was about to give birth, Xuande couldn't help but take action.

Afterwards, he told Master Xuanhong. Master Xuanhong was shocked, but it was too late. The person was already dead, and he could not send Xuande to the official. What's more, Xuande did this to resurrect his master.
