Mr. Xie, please respect yourself! I am your grandfather's ancestor.

Chapter 45: Remember this lesson next time, young man

Qulin City Airport.

An old man was sitting on a chair in the terminal, holding a black wooden box with strange totems carved on it.

There was no expression on his wrinkled face, and his eyes were very cloudy.

Opposite him sat a man wearing glasses.

The man looked at him for a long time, seeming a little conflicted.

But after a moment he walked over and handed the old man a business card.

"Uncle, I'm an ophthalmologist at the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinghai City. I think your eye symptoms look like cataracts. If you need anything, you can come and see me. My phone number is on it."

The old man glanced at the name on the white business card in front of him, then slowly raised his head and looked at the man.

He seemed to not hold the box firmly in his hand and it shook a little.

The old man suddenly grinned, and his face, which was covered with wrinkles and age spots, seemed a little distorted.

"Thank you, Doctor Wang. Are you from Jinghai City too?"

The man nodded and sat in the empty seat next to the old man. "Yes, I'm from Jinghai City too, and I'm on a business trip to Qulin City."

"Judging from your appearance, my son should be about your age. Are you 30 this year?"

The man smiled and said, "I'm 29."

The old man murmured, "He was born in the year of Bingzi."

The man was stunned for a moment, then he reacted and replied, "That should be it. I didn't specifically remember what lunar year I was born in."

The old man laughed and said, "Well, who can remember the lunar year they were born in nowadays? I can only say it because my son is the same age as you."

"Really? That's quite a coincidence." He glanced at the old man.

Logically speaking, if he is the same age as his son, he should be about the same age as his father, but he doesn't look like a man in his sixties at all. Instead, he looks like an old man in his eighties.

The old man seemed to be very familiar with him and continued to chat with him, "My troublesome son also works in Jinghai City. He is a programmer and he is still unmarried at the age of 29. How about you? Do you have a girlfriend?"

The man smiled and said, "I already have children."

"Hey, you have more important things to do. You have to start a family and build a career. You have to start a family first and then build a career. My son is a real worry!"

The man smiled, guessing that the old man might look older than his peers because he was worried about his son, so he comforted him:

"The pace of life in Jinghai is fast, and many young people are working hard. It's possible that he's too busy with work to have time for a girlfriend. What's more, programmers have no time at all for work. You should just let it go."

The old man seemed to not understand the young people's thoughts. He shook his head and sighed, then asked him: "By the way, Doctor Wang, when is your birthday?"

"My birthday is in December," the man replied politely.

The old man asked in surprise: "This is such a coincidence, isn't it? My son was also born in December. What's your date?"

The man also thought it was a coincidence and continued to answer the old man's question, "Number Three, where is your son?"

The old man shook his head, "My son is two days older than you. He was born on the first day of December."

The man felt a little disappointed and thought it was a coincidence that they were born on the same day of the same month of the same year.

But the old man soon smiled and stroked the back of his head twice, as if he was caring about someone else's child.

He said, "Doctor Wang, we are about to board the plane. I see your ticket is business class. I am economy class and need to queue up. I will go first. I will come to see you when I have time."

After saying that, the old man carried the black wooden box and walked towards the boarding gate.

Qulin is a fourth-tier city. The airport is not big and there is no dedicated boarding channel for first-class passengers. They just leave earlier than economy class passengers.

So Wang Yufei did not go to the VIP waiting room over there but just found a place to sit. Anyway, he arrived late and would be boarding the plane soon.

Wang Yufei felt puzzled and looked down at the plane ticket in his hand.

I thought: This person’s eyesight is better than his, so it shouldn’t be cataracts.

He scratched the back of his head. When the old man touched him just now, the gold ring on his hand must have scratched him, and he felt a slight stinging sensation.

The staff over there announced that first-class and business-class passengers could board the plane first, so he quickly stood up and walked towards the boarding passage with his suitcase.

When passing by the long line, Wang Yufei saw the old man smiling at him kindly.

He nodded in response and waved goodbye.

Then he strode through the boarding gate and into the corridor.

I don't know.

After his figure disappeared, the smile on the old man's face became even bigger.

He stroked the black wooden box in his hand and murmured to himself:

"That young man's luck is just average, not even enough to fill your stomach. Don't worry, I will make sure you have enough to eat tonight. The luck of the little granddaughter of the old Shan family is much better than that girl in their family back then!"

The old man spoke very quickly and in a low voice, so the people queuing next to him didn't hear clearly what he said. They all thought he was reciting some scriptures or something, so they just took a curious look and then looked away.

After several hours of flight, the plane finally landed.

After the plane comes to a stop, first-class and business-class passengers will be given priority to disembark.

Wang Yufei staggered up from his seat, his eyes went dark and he almost fell down.

The flight attendants noticed that something was wrong with him and rushed forward to ask him if he was feeling unwell.

But before he could even ask, Wang Yufei fell straight to the ground.

Suddenly the whole plane was in chaos. Some flight attendants rushed forward to perform first aid measures, some contacted the airport to call for an ambulance, and some used the radio to notify passengers of the unexpected situation and delayed disembarkation.

Passengers in the economy class at the back began to talk, and some even stood up to watch the fun.

Only an old man in the last row of the plane looked out the window indifferently, not caring at all about what was happening in front of him.

He reached out and picked up the short black hair on the black box, threw it away in disgust, and sighed in a low voice, "It's good to be young. It's so easy to get the birth date. Hey, how can you tell such an important thing to strangers? Remember it next time, young man!"

Suddenly he pulled the corner of his mouth again, "Oh, sorry, I forgot, he doesn't seem to have a next time."
