I slept for almost three hours.

The long-missed car air conditioning created a comfortable indoor temperature both mentally and physically, and the two woke up only because they felt a little hungry.

Shen Ying climbed out of bed and looked at Qi Yanchuan who was tidying up the sofa bed. They both looked out the window at the same time.

Still in ancient times.

Alas, it has been too long since I lived a happy life with modern appliances to serve me. For a moment, I even thought I could travel back in time while sleeping.

Shen Ying saw that the sofa bed had been tidied up and turned into a table and a sofa. She brought over two desserts and some snacks and cut fruits and placed them on the table.

The fruit slices sold in big shopping malls are not the inferior products sold by unscrupulous merchants who only use the good parts of the rotten fruits to pretend to be fresh fruits. Each one is a high-quality product with a unit price of three figures.

Qi Yanchuan said that the fruits he ate today were enough for a normal month.

Shen Ying did not feel guilty. She would not feel guilty about eating fruit every day. After all, this was her golden finger, and she did not envy Qi Yanchuan for being able to drink spiritual liquid every day.

In the afternoon, the two went fishing on the sea. Shen Ying took the gasoline from other cars and poured it into the yacht, so they could drive a few hundred kilometers more.

When they were halfway through fishing, they vaguely noticed a black dot like a nose approaching them not far away.

From further south.

But where they are is Yazhou, the southernmost part of Hainan.

Shen Ying told Qi Yanchuan about this and raised the telescope to check.

Oh, there's more than one nose.

Behind the nose is a smaller nose, bah, bah, it’s a ship.

Qi Yanchuan packed up his fishing gear and prepared to return. "Sit down and watch."

Otherwise it would be ugly if you fell into the sea.

Shen Ying sat down and looked back at the two girls. They were still quite far away and without a telescope it was impossible to tell that the ship they were on was such a strangely shaped modern yacht.

After returning to the shore, Shen Ying drove the carriage back, worried that this was some bad ship, such as an invader or a pirate, and wanted to alert and notify others.

Qi Yanchuan asked her to wait for five minutes, erase the traces of the RV's parking, throw the dead leaves away, and walk backwards.

Shen Ying understood what he meant and also created some traces that indicated that many people had stayed there.

Only then did he drive away when he could see the ship approaching with the naked eye.

Driving slowly, Qi Yanchuan swept the dead leaves as big as a broom.

It was almost dark when we returned to Changsheng Village.

Shen Ying went straight to the village chief and told him about her discovery.

She lied to her family and said she was going to town, but she didn't tell the village chief that she was going to town. The village chief just thought that the two of them encountered an unidentified ship while going sea fishing.

"Do you see any flags on the ships? Or any other conspicuous signs?"

Shen Ying recalled and realized that this was not the case.

Qi Yanchuan also shook his head, but since he knew a little about ships, he could only say that it was not a local ship.

In addition to canoes, there were four famous ship hulls that influenced the development of ancient ships.

1. Sand ship, which originated in Chongming area during the Tang Dynasty. It has a square head and a flat bottom, shallow draft, and is less affected by the tide. It is suitable for sailing on shallow waters and waterways with many sandy beaches. It has multiple masts and sails, and the masts and sails are high, which is conducive to making use of the wind. It has excellent performance in offshore sailing.

2. Bird boats originated in the Southern Song Dynasty and are small, fast seagoing vessels along the coast of Zhejiang. They are characterized by a small bow, a fat body, a pointed and round bottom, and slightly raised bow and stern. Because the bow is shaped like a bird's beak, it is called a "bird boat."

Bird boats usually have three masts and fan-shaped cloth sails or rectangular bamboo canopies. When the main canopy and bow canopy are spread out to both sides, the front and sailing posture look like the wings of a bird.

Its uniqueness lies in the fact that the bird boat is a dual-purpose oar and sail boat. It can sail when there is no wind and can sail when there is wind. It is flexible and suitable for coastal sailing, but not for ocean sailing.

3. Fujian's Fuchuan ships were born in the Song Dynasty. They are pointed-bottom sea vessels, as tall as a building, with a pointed bottom and a wide top, high bows and sterns, and guard plates on both sides. They are famous for sailing in the South China Sea and the open seas.

The Fuzhou ship can be regarded as an outstanding representative of ancient Chinese shipbuilding technology. According to research, the prototype of Zheng He's famous treasure ship that sailed to the West was the Fuzhou ship.

Fourth, the Guangdong ship, which was produced in Guangdong, reached its mature stage during the Tang and Song dynasties and was finalized in the Yuan and Ming dynasties. Its physical features are a low bow and a high tail, a wide top and a narrow bottom, and a thin and pointed bottom, making it suitable for sailing in the vast South China Sea and the ocean.

The biggest feature of Cantonese sailing boats is the use of multi-hole rudders, and the holes on the cabin blades are diamond-shaped. The water on both sides of the rudder blades is connected, which can reduce the turning torque and save effort during operation.

Qi Yanchuan only used the telescope to look for more than ten seconds. The ship did not have the obvious characteristics of the above ships. It seemed to have some Fuchuan design, but it was very simple.

It is more like a canoe structure + outboard bracket, very similar to the early shipbuilding in the Philippines, with two auxiliary structures extending from both sides, from which people can slide down, closing the distance to the target ship and facilitating sneak attacks.

It is a design that Qi Yanchuan described as a pirate ship in modern times.

However, in Southeast Asia and even Europe at that time, the ships were prepared for plundering. This was also a kind of "civilization" development for them. All technology and military were only prepared for plundering.

If it was that kind of ship, why did it come to this area? This was what Qi Yanchuan didn’t understand.

There are no fishing villages in their area.

Are you planning to go ashore?

The village chief took this matter very seriously and invited the young and strong men in the village, led by a middle-aged hunter, to investigate.

Qi Yanchuan expressed regret for being forced to end their rare vacation for two, but now he had to explain the situation to his family and take precautions.

Qi Yanchuan told Shen Ying not to worry too much for now, just let everyone know about this and prepare the valuables in advance and be ready to set off at any time.

He hurriedly said he wanted to go home, but was stopped by Shen Ying: "If you really want to run, I will take good care of my own people. You just run to the town for good luck. If you can't even find peace in the town, you can just keep running. I can support you...you."

Shen Ying didn't know why she said she would support Qi Yanchuan.

Because he has become more handsome and elegant recently?

Or is there room for explanation for the misunderstanding?

No, even if it was a misunderstanding, she had indeed suffered harm and losses, and she was simply responding to Qi Yanchuan's reminder.

"Okay, I hope everything is okay." Shen Ying had already let go of her hand. Qi Yanchuan looked at her deeply and quickly ran to his brother and sister-in-law's house.

A groundless guess made the two of them panic.

There is no other way. They cherish their lives and have the ability to move to another place and start over at any time. They don’t want to stay in one place and face danger.

It's better to just be a mistake.

It was completely dark.

Except for the children, no one in the Shen family had the appetite to eat. They couldn't sit still at home and all came to Shen Ying's side.

"What do you think... is it possible that you saw it wrong, and it's actually the fishermen from other islands chasing the school of fish?" Zhang Yu raised a question, and after hearing it, the others also thought that this was very likely the case.
