The first time in history

Chapter 22 Eastern Han Dynasty, Scholar

After sleeping for an unknown amount of time, Qian Mingduo slowly opened his eyes. The moonlight was as bright as silver, illuminating his bedroom. Looking at everything that was familiar in front of him, it seemed so strange.

He seemed to remember something, and quickly sat up and took off his T-shirt. With a "pop", something fell off his body. He didn't bother to look for it, but turned on the ceiling light in the bedroom with his bare feet and looked down at his upper body carefully.

"No bite marks, no claw marks." Qian Mingduo quickly walked into the bathroom again and turned on the light of the bathroom heater. Under the bright light, he turned his head to look at his back in the mirror.

Looking at his smooth back, Qian Mingduo sighed, "Is everything I've experienced true or false?"

When he walked back to the bedroom with a puzzled look on his face, a piece of rope exposed under the bed caught his attention. "Maybe it fell from me just now?" Qian Mingduo thought as he bent down to pick up the rope.

There was a tooth hanging on the black rope. Qian Mingduo's head buzzed. He felt that all the blood in his body rushed to his brain at this moment, and his heart began to beat wildly involuntarily.

He felt that he was having difficulty breathing and his head was splitting. He slowly lay down on the bed, holding the wolf tooth tightly in his hand.

This was the wolf tooth taken from him. Wang Zhaojun ordered the craftsmen accompanying the team to inlay it with pure silver, and she personally wove a string to make a pendant. When she went to visit Qian Mingduo in the big tent, she secretly hung it around his neck. From then on, Qian Mingduo always wore it and never took it off.

"Zhaojun, you must be extremely sad right now, right?" Qian Mingduo closed his eyes and said silently in his heart: "Your Zijian fell into the abyss to save you. Can you bear the pain of losing your beloved? What are you doing now?"

Qian Mingduo's mind flashed with Wang Zhaojun's peerless beauty, her affectionate eyes, her shy face, her snow-white feet, her pain during labor pains, her panting during pleasure...

"Qian Mingduo, you are lucky," Qian Mingduo said to himself, "You are not just lucky. How could you be so lucky that Wang Zhaojun, one of the four great beauties in ancient times, would give you her virginity? You are such a lucky piece of shit."

"Han Bing" Qian Mingduo suddenly remembered something, and while muttering Han Bing's name, he walked to the study. Except for the wall with the window, there were no bookcases on the other three walls.

Qian Mingduo quickly found a few books and sat down at the desk. He let out a long breath and silently recited Han Bing's name in his mind. He put on his glasses and carefully read through them. These books all recorded some historical materials about "Zhaojun's Exile to the Frontier" or the research results and academic reports of later scholars on this period of history.

It was already dawn when Qian Mingduo closed the last book. He was very disappointed because he could not find any words about General Han Bing in these books.

"General Han Bing" Qian Mingduo lit a cigarette and put it into the ashtray. Through the wisps of smoke, Qian Mingduo looked towards the dawn in the east and said slowly, "My experience and good fortune this time are all due to you. I have nothing to show my respect for you, but I hope that this wisp of smoke can comfort your soul in heaven!"

Qian Mingduo placed his right index and middle fingers on the desk, pretending to kneel, then looked up at the dark blue sky and said slowly: "Qian Mingduo is here... I pay my respects to the general from afar."

When opening the third blind box, Qian Mingduo was still hoping for the best. Because the last time he opened three blind boxes, the words on the note were all the same: "Han, General, Going Out of the Frontier."

How he hoped that the note in the blind box would still have these five words on it, just like last time. If so, he could go back to Wang Zhaojun's side. It would be such a wonderful thing to be able to continue their relationship with her!

"Eastern Han Dynasty, scholar."

Qian Mingduo looked at the note in the third blind box with extreme disappointment. Wang Zhaojun was in the Western Han Dynasty, and this time she was a scholar in the Eastern Han Dynasty.

"It seems that I won't be able to see Wang Zhaojun this time." He sighed, picked up the dark green blind box, looked at it, and put it on the desk again.

"Let me eat something first!" Qian Mingduo felt his stomach was empty and was about to stand up and go to the kitchen to find something to eat.

At this moment, the lid of the blind box slowly opened by itself. Qian Mingduo looked at the blind box in surprise, with a confused look on his face. A dazzling light came out of the blind box again, and then the light returned to the blind box in an instant. With a "snap", the lid of the blind box closed tightly again.

The first ray of sunlight in the early morning slowly shone into Qian Mingduo's study. Besides a few books scattered around on the desk, there was also a wolf tooth necklace. The wolf tooth shone a faint pale light in the orange-red morning light.

Qian Mingduo was lying on a bamboo bed, waving a slightly worn but still exquisite palm-leaf fan in his hand. He looked around the small but tastefully decorated bedroom.

There was a carved wooden table in the room, on which were neatly placed yellowed books and a precious inkstone, with several finely crafted brushes hanging on the pen holder. There was a tall wardrobe next to the bed, with the door tightly closed.

Qian Mingduo stood up, and the bamboo bed made a creaking sound, but it was stable and solid. He walked to the window, and outside the window was his own small yard, where some seasonal vegetables were planted. In the distance was a bustling street market, with people coming and going, and it was very lively.

Qian Mingduo walked out of the bedroom and saw an eight-person table in the hall with a chair on each side. He slowly approached and saw a bronze incense burner on the table, with smoke rising from the burner, emitting a faint fragrance.

On the wall hangs an exquisite silk painting that depicts mountains, rivers and people vividly. On one side of the shelf are neatly placed several bamboo slips, which are the owner's treasured classics.

In the corner, there is a tall screen with exquisite flower and bird patterns embroidered on it. Near the door, there is a ceramic vase with a few newly opened flowers in it, adding some vitality and color to the whole hall.

He walked out of the house slowly. A long path paved with bluestone stretched straight from the entrance of the hall to the main door. On one side of the path were planted several kinds of vegetables that he couldn't name, and on the other side were various flowers.

"Zhou Jun," an old voice sounded in front of the courtyard gate, "Have you been reading books for the whole afternoon again?"

“It seems that my name is Zhou Jun this time.” Qian Mingduo thought to himself, “Yes, old man, I read for a while.”

"Are you hungry?" The old man walked in tremblingly with a cane, and said to Qian Mingduo with a smile: "My dear young man, every time it's time to eat, you always have to ask someone to come and treat you."

Qian Mingduo quickly stepped forward to support the old man.

"Hongchang asked me to call you to his house for dinner." The old man held Qian Mingduo's hand and said, "Let's go. Don't let Hongchang wait anxiously."
