 Chapter 737: The Starry Sky Chain and the Dark Tide Conspiracy

In a distant fantasy continent, Bennett and Mika, a pair of funny partners, are standing at the forefront of a mysterious ruin. This place is said to contain a power that can subvert the world, but they are completely confused and have stumbled in by accident.

Bennett, the unlucky guy who had such bad luck that he could choke and get pneumonia even when drinking water, was like a curious baby at this moment, his eyes rolling around, looking at the stone pillars around him that were engraved with strange runes. "Mika, do you think this thing is the homework left by some great god in the past?" His unruly words made Mika roll his eyes. Mika, a boy who looked calm on the outside but was also a dramatic person on the inside, tightly grasped his dagger that he never left behind, and looked around vigilantly, but retorted: "You only know how to talk nonsense, be careful not to attract something you shouldn't mess with, and then you'll see how your bad luck can save the situation."

As he was talking, the ground beneath his feet suddenly began to tremble slightly, as if a giant creature was sneezing underground. Bennett staggered and almost fell, but fortunately Mika was quick-witted and grabbed his collar. "Look at you, you clumsy guy, hold on!" Mika had just finished speaking when a group of strange monsters jumped out from the shadows around them. Bennett was so scared that he yelled, "Oh my god, what kind of dark food is this?" Mika didn't have time to listen to his nonsense, and dragged him to run wildly in the ruins. They turned left and right, and the monsters were chasing them closely. The tentacles would occasionally shoot out some sticky things. If they were stuck, they would probably be wrapped like dumplings.

As they ran, a wide gully appeared in front of them, which forced them into a desperate situation. Mika rolled his eyes at him: "Don't be discouraged here, think of a way!" He gathered his strength and threw the stones at the monster chasing in front. The stone hit the monster's eye accurately, and the monster stopped temporarily in pain.

But this was just a delaying tactic, as the monsters behind them soon surrounded them again. Mika looked up and found some old vines entwined between the stone pillars, like natural ropes. "Bennett, buy me some time!" Mika shouted. Bennett understood and continued to harass the monsters with stones, while Mika struggled to climb up the stone pillar and grab the vines. He tested the toughness of the vines and felt that they could still bear the weight of a person. "Quick, grab the vines and swing over!" Mika shouted at Bennett.

Bennett seized the opportunity, ran a few steps, then jumped suddenly, holding the vine tightly with both hands. However, due to his weight and excessive force, the vine began to loosen. "Oh, I'm going to fall!" Bennett was shocked. Mika stamped his feet anxiously on the other side: "Don't move, keep your balance!" Fortunately, Bennett kicked his legs randomly in panic and just hooked another vine next to him, so he stabilized his body. The two of them swung to the other side of the ravine by the vine. The monsters on the other side were roaring, but they couldn't come over for the time being.

Just as they breathed a sigh of relief, they found a huge stone door in front of them. The stone door was tightly closed, and it was engraved with complex patterns and symbols. Mika carefully studied the patterns on the stone door and suddenly found that those patterns seemed to be related to some small statues he had seen in the ruins before. Bennett started to work around again, like a little mouse looking for treasure. He actually found a few small statues in the corner. He ran over excitedly and gave them to Mika: "Look, are these the ones? My luck can come in handy sometimes!" Mika took the statues and inserted them into the grooves on the stone door one by one according to the order of the pattern on the stone door. As the last statue was inserted, the stone door slowly opened with a low roar.

But before they could be happy for long, a strong airflow surged out from the stone gate, almost blowing them away. Bennett hugged the stone pillar next to him tightly and shouted: "What is this? Is the welcome ceremony so enthusiastic?" When the airflow weakened slightly, they walked into the stone gate carefully. The light inside was dim and filled with a mysterious atmosphere. Suddenly, a voice sounded in the empty space: "Intruders, why are you here?"

Bennett was startled and looked around: "Who? Who is talking? Come out if you can!" Mikaela stopped him: "Don't act rashly, this may be some kind of test." The voice continued: "If you want to leave this place, you need to solve my puzzle. Listen carefully, I am the guardian of time, but I lost something in the long river of time. This thing is invisible and colorless, but it records the changes of all things. What do you think I lost?"
