Time Travel: Conditional Wealth

He Xi had a fever again at night.

I got antipyretic injections and cold medicines, but the high fever kept coming back.

His forehead was burning hot, his eyes were misty, and the blush on both sides of his cheeks was deepening.

All these phenomena told Lu Jinan that He Xi had a high fever again.

Lu Jinan's heart tightened, he stood up, pushed the door open, and went to the nurse's station: "Nurse, He Xi in Room 302 has a fever again."

But He Xi's high fever still hasn't subsided. Does she really have to take off her clothes? The nurse asked her to wipe her armpits as well. Should she take them off or not?

He Xi took off her sweater by herself. She was wearing a stand-up collar shirt underneath. She said that it would look good with the sweater this way. He tried several times but couldn't bring himself to do it. After adjusting his breathing several times, he finally opened the first button of the shirt.

That button seemed to weigh tens of millions of pounds. He encouraged himself, thinking that all things are difficult at the beginning, and the next step was the second button.

Why did he feel guilty like a thief? He was simply... simply helping her cool down and reduce her fever.

The buttons were slowly opened, and He Xi's pink underwear was exposed to Lu Jinan's sight. Her skin was white and well-proportioned. Out of a man's instinct, he was observing...

The high fever made He Xi feel uncomfortable. She moved and murmured.

He leaned in closer and heard: "Grandma, grandma, the old lady is running around again."

Lu Jinan finally wiped her armpits, and then he wiped her neck, chest, stomach, and back.

He Xi moved, waking him up. His subconscious evasive gaze made He Xi curious, thinking he was up to something.

He Xi was about to get up and go to the bathroom, so he helped her up. She looked down at the buttons she had buttoned incorrectly, full of questions.

Lu Jinan followed her gaze and looked at the button. He was stunned for a moment, but he was too anxious to check again and was careless.

She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, her eyelashes trembling slightly with shame, like a frightened little butterfly.

He Xi thought he saw something through the gap in the clothes, but it turned out not to be the case. When he passed by the nurse's station, he realized that all the buttons were open.

There was a loud bang and the door of the ward was violently opened by He Xi.

She returned to the ward and looked him up and down, putting away the anger in her heart. He also took care of himself. It was so contradictory. Her head was itchy!

Looking at He Xi's expression, Lu Jinan knew that it was the nurse who was talking too much again. He had a mouth now and could speak for himself.

He waited for her decision.

After a struggle with his thoughts, He Xi made a decision that should have been made long ago: "Lu Jinan gives you a chance to choose, do you want to be in a relationship?"
