I make a living solving crimes.

Chapter 7: Ku Yin's Craftsmanship

Chang Wei had great awe for the ten years that he had not experienced personally.

I hope these words won't cause me any trouble.

After coming out of Zhang Youde's office, Chang Wei wandered around the police station, going into each office for a few minutes. When he reached the door of the interrogation room, he heard loud voices crying out for injustice from inside.

Li Lai Fu had delivered the fish and returned to the interrogation room. He was following his master Xiao Qiang in interrogating a theft suspect. However, after asking so many questions and beating him, the suspect just refused to admit it.

I searched the crotch, but couldn't find anything dirty.

Chang Wei stuck his head in through the crack in the door. The suspect had a green name "Mei Sanwa" written on his head, his arms were twisted and handcuffed to the window, he was standing on tiptoe with his butt sticking out, his face was bruised and his neck was stiff, he refused to admit anything, he had a shifty look and it was obvious at first glance that he was not a good person.

He pushed open the door and swaggered into the interrogation room and shouted to Xiao Qiang, "Uncle Xiao."

Xiao Qiang turned around and said with a smile: "I heard from Lai Fu that you brought two big fish for us to eat?"

Chang Wei took out a Hongtashan and handed it over. He nodded and measured the length and said, "I caught it from Houhai. It's just this small. I'll give it to you as a snack."

Xiao Qiang smiled even more happily when he saw Chang Wei pretending to be calm. He picked up an enamel pot and handed it to Li Laifu, "Go rinse it and pour a cup of tea for Chang Wei."

Li Laifu said indignantly: "Master, he just gave me the Daqianmen."

Chang Wei said quickly: "I just got the Hongtashan from my master. Come on, I'll give you another one."

Xiao Qiang laughed and scolded: "What a waste."

After taking Chang Wei's cigarette, Li Lai Fu picked up his enamel pot with a smile and prepared to find a thermos.

Chang Wei didn't want to drink the police station's "Gao Sui", let alone use someone else's cup, so he quickly stopped him, then slowly walked to Mei Sanwa's side, looked around, turned around and asked, "Daytime break-in?"

Daytime break-in is a slang term for breaking into a house and stealing by prying open the door in broad daylight.

Xiao Qiang nodded and said, "He was blocked in the house. He said he entered the wrong house, but he didn't know anyone in that yard, and more than a hundred yuan was missing from the man's house."

Chang Wei put the cigarette in his mouth, squatted down and looked at Mei Sanwa's dying appearance. He knew that he was beaten badly. He stood up and walked behind him, kicked his butt with his foot, smiled and waved to Li Laifu, saying: "Come on, take off his pants."

Mei Sanwa suddenly raised his head and twisted his neck to look at Chang Wei in horror, his body shaking unconsciously twice.

Li Lai Fu looked at Chang Wei with a confused look on his face, then turned to look at Xiao Qiang. Seeing that his master suddenly nodded seriously, he walked over and pulled Mei Sanwa's pants and underwear down to his knees, scaring him so much that he screamed.

I don't know what I'm afraid of.

Chang Wei kicked him twice and yelled, "Behave yourself."

Mei Sanwa trembled and tried to hide his butt against the wall, but his hands were handcuffed behind his back and he could not move. He could only smile flatteringly and beg for mercy: "Master, master, I really can't do this. I'm constipated and I haven't had a bowel movement for three days."

Chang Wei was furious. He kicked him twice, pointed at a thread in his buttocks, took two steps back and said to Li Laifu, "Go and pull it."

Xiao Qiang suddenly stood up and walked behind Mei Sanwa, then turned to look at Chang Wei and followed his example by taking a few steps back, "Laifu, pull the thread off."

Li Lai Fu was not stupid. He looked at Xiao Qiang with a bitter face, then looked at Chang Wei who was excited. Finally, he had to accept his fate. He rummaged around and found an old newspaper to protect his hands. He grabbed the thread and pulled it down with force.

Mei Sanwa screamed so miserably that it alarmed people in several nearby offices. They all covered their noses and leaned against the door frame to watch the scene.

The oil paper package was rolled out from the valley, with some feces residue spraying everywhere. This made Li Lai Fu sick, and he punched Mei Sanwa on the head twice in anger.

Xiao Qiang wanted to kick the oil-paper stick on the ground, but just as he stretched out his foot, he retracted it in disgust and said to Chang Wei, "I have heard since I was a child that the treasury keepers in the Qing Dynasty had this skill. I didn't expect to see it again now. Today is really an eye-opener."

Chang Wei covered his nose and retreated to the door of the interrogation room. He said to Li Laifu who was retching, "Search his shoes. There should be a small hole on the back of the sole. Look for it. I think there are wires and razor blades."

Li Laifu suppressed his nausea and took off Mei Sanwa's shoes. Sure enough, two hard and soft iron wires were pulled out from under the insole, with a small blade sandwiched between them. After searching out the things, Li Laifu was even more confused. He stared at Chang Wei in disbelief and asked, "How did you know?"

Chang Wei hid outside the door and laughed, "These are some of the ways they use to hide things when they break into someone's house during the day. I've seen worse ones. If you can't find the culprit, he'll at most sentence you to detention. If he does, he'll at least send you to reeducation through labor."

Xiao Qiang said in admiration: "You have learned a lot of skills from your father and your master."

Chang Wei said proudly: "Uncle Xiao, when I was playing in this police station, you were fighting the foreign devils in North Korea."

Li Lai Fu found some straw paper to plug his nose and used two small sticks to open the oil paper package. This thick roll really made it difficult for Mei Sanwa, and he actually counted out fourteen big black tens.

No wonder you can’t bear to throw away the dirt.

[Assisted in solving a burglary case, points +1, rewards: 10 kilograms of ABC rat candy, 10 kilograms of pork fat].

It turns out that there is no reward unless you solve the case and catch the thief!

Chang Wei suddenly became excited.

It seems that I have to come to this police station more often.

I just don’t know what these points are used for, and there is no points mall or anything like that.

And there is this incomprehensible ABC Mouse Candy. What a ridiculous name.

At noon, Chang Wei had lunch in the canteen. There were two large bowls of fish, one bowl of fish head with chopped pepper, and one bowl of boiled fish, accompanied by steamed corn bread made of two grams of flour. Finally, Chang Wei was satisfied with his meal.

The case was also the main topic of conversation at the police station after dinner. The rough men had no taboos and talked openly at the dinner table, but the women from the household registration and logistics department were disgusted, and they couldn't talk about civilized qualities with the rough men, so they could only grab Chang Wei's hair and pull it.

Chang Wei started playing in the police station when he was eight years old. Most of the people there had watched him grow up. Facing the harassment from his sisters and aunts, he dared not say a word and could only hide in the kitchen.

In the kitchen, chefs Old Wang and Old Zhang were eating fish and drinking wine with great relish. Chang Wei ran over and gave a thumbs up: "Grandpa Wang, this fish is still the best you cook."

Old Wang looked at Chang Wei lovingly, and said with a smile in Xiang dialect: "Little Chang Wei, do you really like it?"

Chang Wei said sincerely: "Grandpa Wang, your spicy food is really delicious. If they hadn't bullied me and chased me away, I would have eaten two more bowls."

Old Wang smiled even more happily and said, "If you like it, I'll make it for you next time."

Chang Wei would never let his words fall to the ground, so he picked them up and said, "Then I will come back tomorrow and bring you three big fish and a bottle of Fenjiu."

Old Wang said hurriedly: "Just fish, don't buy wine, my loose wine is good enough."

Chang Wei glanced at Old Man Zhang who was drinking with his eyes closed and said, "Loose liquor is for gatekeepers to drink. With your status and your cooking skills, you should at least drink Fenjiu. When I make a lot of money in the future, I will buy you Maotai."

Old Wang's mouth was almost split open with joy, and he praised again and again: "Little Chang Wei is such a good boy."

Old man Zhang bulged his eyes and asked, "Do you know what Maotai looks like?"

Chang Wei curled his lips and ignored Old Man Zhang. He put the half pack of Hongtashan cigarettes he had picked up on the small dining table, turned around and walked away. After he left the door, he shouted, "Just wait and see tomorrow. I'll definitely bring it to you."

Old Wang wanted to return the cigarette to Chang Wei, but he couldn't find anyone there.
