Keeping the promise

In the following days, Li Yunting stayed by Zheng Wancheng's side almost every step of the way. He cooked the most delicious meals for her, chatted with her, told her jokes, and wanted to spend as much time with her as possible.

Zheng Wancheng had actually recovered a long time ago, but seeing how attentively Li Yunting took care of her, she was too embarrassed to refuse.

At this moment, Li Yunting happened to pass by this cafe. He saw Zheng Wancheng and Lu Zixuan arguing with each other through the glass window, and the anger in his heart instantly ignited.

He strode into the cafe, pulled Lu Zixuan's hand away, protected Zheng Wancheng behind him, and looked at Lu Zixuan with cold eyes, "What do you want to do?"

When Lu Zixuan saw Li Yunting, a trace of disdain appeared on his face, "It's not your turn to interfere in the affairs between me and Wan Cheng."

Li Yunting sneered, "She is my wife. If you pester her, I won't let you go."

Lu Zixuan was not afraid at all, "Humph, so what? Wan Cheng loves me, not you."

"Shut up!" Li Yunting roared angrily.

Seeing that the situation was becoming increasingly tense, Zheng Wancheng quickly grabbed Li Yunting and said, "Yunting, let's go. Don't argue with him."

Li Yunting looked at Zheng Wancheng deeply, then turned around and took her out of the cafe.

After returning home, Li Yunting's face was still terribly gloomy.

"Why is he pestering you? Is he your first love?" Li Yunting questioned Zheng Wancheng.

In the next few days, Lu Zixuan still did not give up on Zheng Wancheng. He would wait for her on her way home from get off work, give her flowers, and even show up at the door of Zheng Wancheng's company.
