(The singing ends, but the music continues as the curtain shows Bai Suzhen going to a temple fair on earth to pay respect to Guanyin Bodhisattva.)

Miss Luochen dubbed for Guanyin Bodhisattva and said: "Good, good, it's rare that you have such a heart for Taoism, but your earthly ties have not yet been resolved, how can you ascend to heaven in broad daylight? You still owe the world a favor, and only by repaying this favor can you achieve the right result."

Shi Yu dubbed Bai Suzhen and said, "I understand. I should repay a favor. But a thousand years have passed. There are so many people. Where can I find my benefactor?"

The Bodhisattva voiced by Luo Chen gave advice: "If we are destined to meet, we will meet thousands of miles apart. Go to the heights of West Lake to find each other."

The scene then switches to the Broken Bridge on West Lake, where Bai Suzhen takes Xiaoqing to look for her benefactor and finally finds Xu Xian. The music switches and Li Yi begins singing:
