When Fahai met Pudu Cihang for the first time, the Ming Dynasty had not yet been established.

It was the end of the Yuan Dynasty, disasters were frequent, the world was in turmoil, and the people were living in misery.

The centipede monster transformed into a belt and followed a wandering beggar.

When the beggar was in his twenties, he joined an uprising army called the Red Turban Army and became an inconspicuous soldier.

This battlefield is full of dangers and discerning swords.

The beggar who became a soldier also encountered many fatal crises, but they were all secretly resolved by the centipede monster.

With the help of the centipede monster and his own cleverness and bravery, this soldier began to show his talents.

He was appreciated and trusted by the leader Guo Ziyi, who even betrothed his adopted daughter to him.

As the soldier's status in the rebel army improved, his horizons also broadened.

He thought he needed to change his name to one that sounded more impressive.

Since they were an insurgent army, they were naturally determined to overthrow the Yuan Dynasty. His surname happened to be Zhu, and the meaning of "kill Yuan" was very consistent with his ambition.

However, this method is too murderous and lacks a sense of dignity, so the character "璋" was added at the end.

"Zhang" is a kind of jade artifact, one of the six artifacts.

"Zhou Li·Chun Guan·Da Zong Bo" records:

Six jade vessels were made to pay respect to heaven, earth and the four directions.

Use the blue jade bi to worship the heaven and the yellow jade cong to worship the earth.

Use the green gui to worship the east, and the red zhang to worship the south.

Use white amber to worship the west, and use black Huang to worship the north.

In addition to being a ritual vessel for sacrifice, "Zhang" also has practical uses. In the military, it symbolizes power and shows nobility.

So the soldier changed his name to Zhu Yuanzhang.

A few years later, the leader Guo Ziyi died, and Zhu Yuanzhang took over his position and continued to lead the rebel army to fight.

At the age of 41, this beggar who started with only one bowl reached the peak of his life. He established his capital in Nanjing, officially proclaimed himself emperor, and named his country Ming.

During this process, the centipede monster secretly helped Zhu Yuanzhang, while Fahai secretly observed the centipede monster.

Over the years, this monster has not done anything to harm anyone. Even when it helped Zhu Yuanzhang overcome a crisis, it only saved his life to the minimum extent possible and did not kill anyone else.

Fahai's long-held Buddhist heart was caught in a dilemma. He spent so much time observing just to verify his own ideas.

He believes that humans and demons are on different paths. Demons may help humans temporarily, but they cannot escape their nature and will reveal their true colors sooner or later.

But this centipede monster completely shook his mind.

However, seeing that this monster has already infiltrated the human dynasty, there is a tendency for it to be contaminated by the country's destiny.

After much hesitation, Fahai finally took action secretly and used the purple gold bowl to take it away from Zhu Yuanzhang and kept it by his side.

Regardless of what the centipede demon thought, Fahai recited scriptures every day, trying to lead him to Buddhism.

This thought lasted for more than ten years. Under the constant baptism of Buddha's light, the centipede demon actually understood some Buddhist teachings.

Just when Fahai was feeling relieved, the gods and Buddhas in the sky stopped appearing for some reason, and the technique of summoning gods lost its effect.

Most of Fahai's abilities to subdue demons and monsters are in the "Great Power Heavenly Dragon Daluo Spell", a Buddhist method of asking Arhats to subdue demons.

In the absence of gods and Buddhas, his fighting power was greatly weakened and dropped to the bottom.

During the battle with the evil spirit, the centipede monster discovered the clues.

So when Fahai was seriously injured, the centipede demon revealed the weak national destiny hidden in his body and directly attacked Fahai.

Fahai never thought that this monster could actually use the destiny of the human dynasty.

If it was a competition of Taoism, even if I was seriously injured, I would not be able to borrow the Dharma of the Buddhas, and it would be impossible for them to launch a sneak attack on me.

But faced with this kind of power of fate, if one cannot borrow Dharma from the Buddha, one will be unable to resist it and will be defeated directly.

While Fahai's soul was shattered, the centipede demon took over his body.

After years of trial and error, he suppressed Fahai's remaining soul and finally took control of his body.

The centipede demon changed his name to Pudu Cihang, and took advantage of the Ming Dynasty's fortune that was influenced by his identity as the protector of the founding emperor to become the Ming Dynasty's imperial teacher, and began his plan to transform into a dragon.

Now that the mission is almost accomplished, the remaining fragments of Fahai's soul cannot stop it at all.

As Pudu Cihang's transformation into a dragon came to an end, Fahai silently chanted the Buddha's name, but received no response.

In fact, he had recited it many times when his body was possessed, but these gods and Buddhas in the sky seemed to have really disappeared without a trace.

As the dragon shape transformed by the national destiny fitted with Pudu Cihang, dragon claws grew out from its belly, and the tips of the claws were as sharp as swords.

The dragon scale patterns on his body became material, and the scales shone with a luxurious golden glow.

He roared towards the sky, the dragon's roar shook the heaven and earth, carrying endless joy.

In the wide-open dragon's mouth, a little light appeared and gradually grew into a bead.

That is the last step in transforming into a dragon, condensing the dragon ball.

This is as important as the soul of a practitioner.

Just as Purdue Cihang was opening champagne at halftime, a bearded man fell from the sky carrying a piece of brocade.

It was the imperial edict that Zhu Youjian handed over to Yan Chixia through illegal means.

The imperial edict represents the emperor's will. Some important decisions cannot be simply written down; they also need to be announced to the world so that all people know about them in order to have the greatest effect.

Yan Chixia was reminded by Bai Yin on his way here, so he went to various places in Daming to make arrangements, which is why he arrived so late.

Song Yingxing also mobilized his Taoist connections to help, and left behind various means of remote broadcasting.

Let the meaning of this imperial edict be simultaneously projected to all parts of the world so that all people can know it.

Looking at the unfolded brocade, the contents inside made Pu Du Ci Hang's dragon face show human-like fear.

Yan Chixia used his magic power, turned up the volume to the maximum and began to chant:

I am a man of little virtue, but I have just inherited the throne and want to save the country from collapse.

However, God did not bless our Great Ming Dynasty. The dynasty declined, power fell into the wrong hands, and treacherous people came to power.

The state teacher turned out to be an evil demon who confused the government and caused natural and man-made disasters to occur simultaneously. The people were living in misery and there were starving people everywhere.

I am deeply saddened by this, but I am powerless to change the situation...

This is an edict announcing the end of the Ming Dynasty.

Issued by Emperor Chongzhen of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Youjian.

It announced the emperor's abdication and the abolition of all civil and military officials, including the imperial preceptor Pu Du Ci Hang.

Zhu Youjian recalled what Yan Chixia had said to him and guessed that the position of the imperial teacher was very important to Pu Du Ci Hang.

So he thought of abolishing the position of national teacher. This was the only thing he could do.

But later, when he thought about the current situation, he knew that the Ming Dynasty could probably not be saved.

And the fact that Pu Du Ci Hang has been urging him to appoint a crown prince may mean that he has a backup plan.

In the end, he made a decision that went against his ancestors and announced the end of the Ming Dynasty.

The method of cutting off the source of the fire was used to eliminate any possible backup plan of Pu Du Ci Hang.

This can prevent the evil monk from pushing the crown prince to the throne, manipulate the new emperor to turn the tide, and re-establish the position of imperial teacher.

His desperate decision has now paid off.

The ending edict was not long. The terrified Pu Du Ci Hang was about to kill Yan Chi Xia, but he found that the bearded man spoke very quickly and had already finished reading it.

This information was relayed to all parts of the world through previously reserved Taoist communication methods.

In addition to the Nine Provinces, there were also those newly joined vassal states, and all of them were heard without exception.

When Yan Chixia finished reading the last word, the grand destiny of the Ming Dynasty that was pieced together began to shake and collapse.

The dragon body of Pudu Cihang, which was only one step away from achieving enlightenment, also began to collapse.

The dragon ball that had not yet formed in its mouth suddenly dimmed and went out, and the dragon scales on its body exploded and fell off piece by piece.

The centipede's limbs pierced through the body and emerged again, and the dragon head became hideous and terrifying again.

He was going to be brought back to his original form.

Years of planning came to nothing, and they were defeated by a puppet emperor.

Pu Du Ci Hang immediately let out a groundhog scream: "No..."
