God Destroying Pearl

Chapter 2: First Encounter with Monster

Song Yun immediately stopped in alertness, gripped his bow and arrow tightly, and scanned the surrounding dense forest vigilantly.

Based on his previous hunting experience and the hunting tips his father had taught him, Song Yun knew that when facing unknown dangers, the most important thing was to stay calm and alert.

Song Yun held the bow and arrow tightly in his hand, with the arrow on the bow, ready to shoot at any time.

He stared ahead with a determined gaze, ready to deal with any situation that might arise.

Song Yun usually hunted around the outskirts of the forest and had never encountered any large wild beasts. The sudden roar seemed unusual to him.

Song Yun recalled the stories about cultivating immortals told by the elders in the village, many of which mentioned that cultivators would attract the attention of monsters because they might carry spiritual energy or treasures unique to cultivators.

"Could it be a monster?" Song Yun wondered in his heart.

Soon, a huge figure rushed out from the depths of the forest.

It was a huge beast, with a burly body, rough skin, and a fierce light in its eyes.

It opened its bloody mouth and let out a deafening roar that hurt his eardrums.

"It's so big, obviously bigger than the wild beasts I've seen before. It looks like it might really be a monster." Song Yun said in his heart.

Song Yun stared at the monster with sharp eyes. Although the monster had not attacked him directly, his deep vigilance and alertness made him dare not relax at all.

The monster seemed to sense Song Yun's nervousness. It took a few steps back, but quickly stopped, as if it was provoking or testing Song Yun's reaction.

Song Yun took a deep breath. He knew that this monster was not something he could easily deal with.

Suddenly, the monster let out a deafening roar. The sound echoed in the forest and startled a flock of birds.

Song Yun was shocked. Based on his past experience, he knew that this was a sign that the wild beast was about to attack.

He quickly adjusted his breathing, calmed his mind, and prepared to shoot the arrow in his hand that had been ready to shoot.

However, just as the arrow was about to leave the bow, the monster suddenly turned around and ran deep into the forest.

Song Yun was stunned for a moment, but he quickly realized that there was something wrong with this monster.

There seemed to be a cunning light flashing in the monster's ferocious eyes, as if mocking his hesitation.

Song Yun knew very well that this monster was no ordinary beast and possessed more powerful power than ordinary beasts.

Facing such an opponent, he cannot take it lightly.

Song Yun took a deep breath and calmed down the turmoil in his heart.

Taking advantage of the moment when the monster turned around, Song Yun made a decision, exerted force on his feet, and rushed towards the exit of the forest like a flash of lightning.

He knew very well that monsters were stronger than ordinary wild beasts. If he didn't seize the opportunity to leave, he would probably fall into greater danger.

Song Yun shuttled between the dense trees, and the branches and leaves scratched his cheeks, leaving a slight tingling sensation.

But Song Yun didn't care. He had only one thought in his mind - to escape from the forest.

However, just as Song Yun was about to rush out of the forest, a black shadow suddenly flashed out from the side and blocked his way.

Song Yun was startled and quickly stopped, looking at the black shadow vigilantly.

He saw that the monster that had just left was staring at him coldly, with greed flashing in its eyes.

It let out a dull roar, causing the surrounding trees to tremble slightly.

Song Yun felt a strong sense of oppression coming over him, and he knew that it would be difficult for him to escape easily this time.

Song Yun took a deep breath and calmed himself down.

Song Yun understood that facing such a powerful enemy, he must remain calm and clear-headed.

Song Yun quickly observed the surrounding environment and found a stream flowing not far away.

An idea suddenly occurred to him, and he decided to use this stream to deal with the monster.

Song Yun quickly rushed to the stream. With the help of the stream water as cover, he bent his bow and drew his arrow, ready to launch an attack.

He knew that although his archery skills were superb, he still needed some external help to deal with such a powerful monster.

Song Yun aimed at the monster's vital parts and then pulled the bowstring with all his strength.

The arrow made a buzzing sound on the bowstring, as if telling of its power.

Song Yun loosened his fingers, and the arrow shot out like lightning, heading straight for the monster.

The monster seemed to be frightened by the momentum of the arrow. It let out a terrified roar, then dodged the arrow with a flash of its body.

However, Song Yun did not give up. He shot several arrows in succession, forcing the monster to retreat again and again.

Just when the monster was forced by Song Yun to be unable to fight back, he pulled the bowstring again and prepared to shoot an arrow.

Song Yun suddenly noticed a flash of violent light in the monster's eyes.

Song Yun was shocked and immediately became alert.

Sure enough, the monster suddenly launched a counterattack.

A powerful energy burst out from the monster and hit Song Yun directly.

Song Yun had no time to dodge and could only take the blow.

He felt a huge force hitting his body, and he was knocked flying.

Song Yun fell heavily to the ground and felt unbearable pain all over his body.

Song Yun struggled to get up, but found that his body was covered with scars.

Song Yun knew that he couldn't just fall here, so he gritted his teeth and persisted, preparing to attack again.

At this moment, a low and shocking roar suddenly came from the depths of the forest.

The roar seemed to come from ancient times, carrying with it an indescribable majesty and power, instantly breaking the surrounding noise and chaos.

It echoed in the dense forest, making the air tremble.

Song Yun then noticed that the monster, which had been particularly ferocious and seemed to be extremely hostile to him before, suddenly turned around after hearing the roar and rushed into the depths of the forest at an extremely fast speed.

"What's that sound? Why did the monster suddenly run away?" Song Yun felt a little surprised and puzzled.

Although he didn't know the reason, Song Yun knew that he had temporarily escaped from danger.

Song Yun sat on the ground, gasping for breath and feeling the pain in his body.

Song Yun knew that although this experience was dangerous, it also allowed him to gain a lot.

After resting for a while, Song Yun stood up and prepared to leave the forest.

However, the moment he turned to leave, he suddenly discovered a cave between the trees, which, based on his experience, did not look like an animal's nest.

Song Yun's heart moved, and driven by curiosity, he decided to go in and take a look.
