Hogwarts Lion Girl
Chapter 45 Dobby's Warning 2
Harry was furious but also a little shocked. "Control the Bludger? You controlled the Bludger to run me over and kill me?"
Dobby's voice was almost trembling and about to break: "No, no, no! Dobby definitely didn't mean that!"
"Dobby only hoped that Harry Potter would be slightly injured and then sent home!" He choked, "But Dobby failed. Harry Potter's friends stopped Dobby, and Dobby's plan failed again!"
"It's a good thing that Salina stopped you." Harry said in a stiff voice.
Tears glistened in Dobby's eyes, and his body curled up involuntarily, looking even smaller than usual.
"Dobby never meant to hurt Mr. Harry Potter, Dobby... Dobby just..." Dobby closed his eyes in unbearable pain, as if to hide all the pain and conflict in his heart into the darkness.
"Dobby wanted to protect Harry Potter..." He swallowed, then slowly raised his head and looked at Harry with an almost begging look.
"Ha! Protect? That's how you protect?"
Harry's voice was full of accusation and confusion as he waved his arm, which was tightly fixed with a board and bandages. Every movement revealed the pain from his unhealed wounds.
He stared at Dobby, as if trying to find a reasonable explanation in the elf's trembling eyes.
"Something terrible is about to happen in Hogwarts! The master said that thing is very dangerous!" Dobby looked very anxious, and his voice was almost screaming, "Because history is about to repeat itself, the Chamber of Secrets will be opened again... Dobby must protect Harry Potter! Harry Potter cannot be left in Hogwarts!"
"Wait! What did you just say? Chamber of Secrets?! You know the Chamber of Secrets?!" Harry shouted, his voice echoing in the empty room like a heartbeat magnified by a microscope.
It was a mixture of fear and confusion, mixed in his already hoarse voice, revealing an unspeakable tension. His eyes were burning like fire, and one could almost see the anxiety and fear spreading, like an invisible force trying to break through the defenses in his heart.
The blankets against the bed behind him slid to the ground with a soft sound due to his sudden movement. Harry stretched out his arms, but he only grabbed air.
Dobby's eyes suddenly froze, and his entire small body stiffened like a stone statue. His eyes widened in fear, and the light in his eyes seemed to be instantly sucked away by some horrible premonition or memory.
After a moment of dead silence, his figure seemed to mysteriously melt into the air, leaving Harry alone in the room, with the echo of Dobby's anxious words still lingering in his breath.
After a few tense seconds, there was a slight 'pop' and Dobby reappeared like a ghost.
But this time, his movements were jerky, uncontrolled, and filled with remorse and pain.
"Bad Dobi, bad Dobi, very bad Dobi!" he muttered in a low voice.
Dobby didn't give Harry any chance to speak, tears welled up in the corners of his eyes, and he banged his head against the corner of the table on the side of the room again and again.
Each collision was accompanied by a dull thud, a heart-wrenching sound that echoed in the room.
"Dobby, what are you doing? Stop it!" Harry shouted anxiously, not even caring about the pain caused by his unhealed wounds.
Harry finally stopped Dobby just as he was about to charge with his head again.
"How much do you know about the Chamber of Secrets?" Harry asked anxiously.
Dobby did not answer immediately, but looked at Harry nervously with his tearful eyes, as if he was weighing whether he should tell him the truth.
"Dobby can't say..." Dobby finally spoke, and every word he uttered seemed to be in great pain.
"In short, Hogwarts is dangerous!" Dobby's eyebrows were almost tangled together, and his voice was low and full of urgency, "Harry Potter must leave immediately! Can't stay here! Danger! Danger! Danger!"
Dobby's little hand clung to Harry's clothes like the only lifeline in a desperate situation.
"Who is your master? Who is the heir? What is the danger? Where is the Chamber of Secrets?" Harry asked with a frown.
"Dobby cannot betray his master! Harry Potter needs to leave Hogwarts!" These words were mixed with despair and pleading. They were repeated eagerly, repeatedly, and miserably. Every time he shouted, the air seemed to freeze.
"I won't leave, and you don't have to make trouble anymore!" Harry said irritably, "Since you won't answer, then go away! I will figure out these problems myself!"
Harry gritted his teeth, frowned, and the fire in his eyes burned even more fiercely. "I would rather go through the difficulties with my friends than run away for unknown reasons."
He said firmly: "I'm not afraid! No matter what monster is hiding in that secret room, I will not escape."
"I'm going to stay here until I figure out what's going on." There was no trace of confusion in Harry's eyes.
"Harry Potter..." Dobby's voice echoed in the room, wet tears washed the fear in his pupils, and his tears slid weakly down his wrinkled cheeks.
"This is a conspiracy. Harry Potter cannot stay in Hogwarts this year." The trembling hands seemed to be repeating a secret that should not be told.
In this tense and depressing atmosphere, Dobby's movements became more frantic.
He picked up a chair and, with some fierce intention of self-punishment, he hit himself hard, and with each blow, the chair legs struck his tiny body with an unbearable sound.
Harry held his breath, a complex emotion flashed across his eyes, these things were too crazy for him.
But before he could react, Dobby disappeared again. Just as suddenly as he had appeared before, his departure this time was also without warning.
It was as if everything was an illusion, and the tortured little creature seemed to have never really stood in front of Harry.
However, the sound seemed to still echo in my ears, and the chair used for self-abuse fell silently to the ground, becoming the only witness of this abrupt drama.
The gloomy sky enveloped the ancient Hogwarts Castle, and the low-hanging dark clouds were like an ominous omen, thickly covering the entire sky.
They rolled from time to time, and occasionally a pale light revealed itself, which was the obscured moonlight struggling.
The starless night was silent and dull, making the trees around the castle moan softly. The leaves swayed gently in the wind, making rustling sounds, as if telling unknown secrets.
The castle's shadow appears even deeper under such light, and its towering spires cut through the night sky, like a staircase leading to some unknown dark realm.
