Forensic Doctor: Finding the Way Back to the Mystery of Ancient Realms

Chapter 1 Awakening in another world, the mystery begins

[The morgue was cold and silent, with only the faint candlelight flickering, trying to dispel the surrounding darkness.]

Xu Youran slowly opened her eyes, and everything in front of her was blurry and unfamiliar. She tried to move, but found that her body was unusually heavy, as if bound by invisible shackles. In her mind, the last memory stayed on that night of thunder and lightning. She was dissecting a complicated corpse, and suddenly, a sharp pain came, and then there was endless darkness...

"Where am I? What happened?" she murmured to herself, her voice weak and trembling, with a hint of fear and confusion.

[Outside the door, hurried footsteps approached from afar, accompanied by heavy breathing, breaking the silence of the morgue.]

"Hurry! I heard someone here is awake!" A rough voice sounded outside the door, and then the door was pushed open suddenly, and a beam of flashlight penetrated the darkness and illuminated a corner of the room.

Xu Youran subconsciously squinted her eyes, trying to adapt to the sudden brightness. When she opened her eyes again, a strange and serious face came into view - it was a man in a Republic of China military uniform, tall, with a stern face, and his eyes revealed unquestionable majesty.

"Are you awake?" The man's voice was deep and powerful, as if it could penetrate people's hearts.

Xu Youran was stunned for a moment, then realized that she was lying on a cold dissection table, surrounded by the pungent smell of disinfectant. She sat up suddenly, but almost fell down because of her weak body.

"Who...who am I? Where is this?" she asked in horror, with a hint of despair in her voice.

The man didn't seem surprised by her reaction. He slowly walked up to her, took out a pocket watch from his pocket, opened it and checked the time. "You are the only survivor of the JD S City massacre. Your name is Xu Youran." He said calmly, as if he was talking about something that had nothing to do with him.

"Xu Youran? Jingdong S City? Family murder?" Xu Youran repeated these words, but her mind was blank. She tried hard to recall, but she couldn't remember anything. She just felt a splitting headache.

"It seems that your memory has not fully recovered." The man frowned slightly and put the pocket watch back into his pocket. "But it doesn't matter. You are now in the morgue of the Beijing Security Command. I am the commander here, Situ Han."

"Situ Han?" Xu Youran repeated the name, and an inexplicable sense of familiarity surged in her heart, but was soon replaced by deeper doubts.

"Yes, Situ Han." The man nodded, his eyes sharp, "The reason you are here is because a family massacre that shocked the whole city happened in Jingdong S City, and you are the only survivor at the crime scene."

At this point, Situ Han's tone became solemn. "No one in the family was spared, the scene was horrific, and your appearance undoubtedly added a bit of weirdness to the case. We originally thought that you... didn't expect that you would miraculously survive."

Xu Youran listened to his words, her heart filled with shock and confusion. She tried hard to recall everything about the murder case, but her mind was blank. She knew she had to cheer up and find out the truth.

"What...what should I do?" She looked at Situ Han with a determined light in her eyes.

Situ Han was slightly startled, and then a barely perceptible smile appeared on his lips. "First, you need to recover, and then I will take you back to the police station and ask you in detail about the case." He said, taking a coat from the side and putting it on Xu Youran, "Now, come with me, I will arrange for someone to take care of you."

Xu Youran nodded. Although she still had many questions in her mind, she knew that now was not the time to ask them. She stood up and followed Situ Han out of the morgue, each step seeming particularly heavy.

【Easter Eggs】

When Xu Youran stepped out of the morgue, a cold wind blew past, causing her to shiver involuntarily. She looked up at the night sky and saw a bright moon hanging high in the sky. The silver moonlight spread across the earth, bringing a touch of tranquility to this chaotic world.

"Xu Youran, your journey has just begun." Situ Han's voice sounded in her ears, with a hint of subtle meaning.

Xu Youran was stunned for a moment, then turned back to look at him, only to see Situ Han looking at her quietly, with a complex light flashing in his eyes. She felt an inexplicable trust and dependence surge in her heart, as if this man could lead her out of this fog.

However, she didn't know that after this night, she would be involved in an unprecedented storm. The tragedy of the S city in Jingdong was just the tip of the iceberg, and deeper conspiracies and secrets were waiting for her to uncover...

【Ending foreshadowing】

Just as Xu Youran was about to follow Situ Han out, a subtle noise came from deep inside the morgue, as if some creature was whispering in the darkness. She turned her head sharply, but saw nothing but darkness. But she could feel that the uneasy atmosphere was quietly spreading, foreshadowing the upcoming danger and challenge.

"Let's...let's go quickly." She whispered to Situ Han, with a barely perceptible tremor in her tone.

Situ Han seemed to sense her uneasiness and patted her shoulder gently, "Don't be afraid, I'm here."

After saying that, he took Xu Youran's hand and strode towards the police station. In the morgue, the strange aura lingered for a long time, as if foreshadowing something...
