Pokémon Heart Journey

The glory of the Quartz Conference seems to be just yesterday, but the journey home has already begun.

After bidding farewell to Xiaoyang and the others, who were each embarking on their next journey, Xiaozhi, Serena, Sundae, and Hanako's mother boarded the express train and returned to the peaceful and familiar Pallet Town. (The Golden Gym still needed Nancy, the gym leader, for the time being.)

The scenery outside the car window gradually changed from a bustling city to open fields and lush forests, and the air seemed to become particularly fresh.

Xiaozhi excitedly pointed out the window and told Sundae where he often went to train and where he might encounter rare Pokémon.

"It's just a very ordinary country town." Sundae said picky words, but her curious eyes kept looking out the window. For her who grew up in an academy city, this kind of natural scenery was indeed quite novel.

Serena smiled and sat next to Hanako's mother, the two chatting quietly in a harmonious atmosphere. This was not her first time in Pallet Town, and she felt a special sense of familiarity with the place.

"Finally home!" Xiaozhi was the first to jump off the train when it arrived. He stretched and took a deep breath of the air of home. "The smell here is still the most comfortable!"

"Pikapi!" Pikachu also imitated him and squinted his eyes in ecstasy.

Hanako's mother looked at her son and his friends with a smile: "Everyone has worked hard on the journey. Come home quickly, I will make you something delicious!"

Returning to the familiar two-story building and opening the door, everything was still warm and tidy.

"I'm back!" Xiaozhi shouted habitually.

"Welcome home, Xiaozhi." A gentle voice sounded. They looked over with some surprise and found that Champion Oak was sitting on the sofa in the living room, looking at them with a smile. There were two exquisite-looking incubators next to him.

"Mr. Oak! Why are you here?" Xiaozhi asked in surprise.

"Because I'm planning to settle down in Pallet Town, and I came here to give you a 'present'." Oak Champion pushed his glasses and pointed at the two boxes beside him. "People from Alliance Headquarters and Siluf Company delivered the gifts to my research institute right after the other. I knew you'd be back today, so I rushed them over."

"Really?! That's great!"

"No way?!"

"If this matter gets out, I don't know what a sensation it will cause!"

Everyone expressed surprise, but then their attention was drawn to another thing.

"Gift?"

Xiaozhi, Serena and Sundae all gathered around curiously.

Champion Da Mu opened the first box, which was covered with soft bedding, and in the center lay an egg with a strange earthy pattern.

"This is a Kira egg. It's a gift from the League to honor and thank you for your outstanding contribution during the Golden City Crisis. Kira evolves into Banguirus, a very powerful Pokémon."

"Kira's eggs!" Xiaozhi's eyes lit up instantly. He carefully took the box and looked at the eggs inside with a face full of surprise.

Before he could recover from his surprise, Professor Oak opened the second box.

The egg is azure blue all over, dotted with some irregular white spots, which looks particularly beautiful.

"And this one is a Dragonite egg. It was sent here personally by the president of Siluf Corporation, also as a thank you for your help in the company's previous battle against Team Rocket. Dragonite, the one that Dragonite evolves into, is the overlord of the skies."

"Baby Dragonite!" Xiaozhi felt like he was hit by a huge happiness. He held an incubator in one hand and smiled from ear to ear. "Great! Thank you, Professor Oak!"

"Pika Pika!" Pikachu also came over and looked at the two future new partners curiously.

"That's amazing, Xiaozhi." Hanako's mother smiled with satisfaction, her eyes full of pride.

Serena was also happy for Ash: "That's great, Ash! We can hatch new Pokémon again!"

There was also a hint of joy and recognition in Sundae's eyes. She naturally knew how rare these two Pokémon were, and she also understood that Xiaozhi was likely to become stronger again.

Champion Da Mu gave some instructions on how to hatch the eggs and then left. He still had to make arrangements for moving.

It was a sunny afternoon. Ash was busy building a cozy nest for two Pokémon eggs in the backyard, with Pikachu giving him instructions (and making things worse). Hanako's mother was in the kitchen preparing a sumptuous dinner.

Serena naturally put on an apron and went into the kitchen to help: "Auntie, let me help you."

"Oh, thank you so much, Serena." Hanako's mother smiled even more happily, "Satoshi can't forget the desserts you made." Serena blushed slightly, feeling sweet in her heart.

Sundae stood at the kitchen door, looking somewhat bewildered. She was adept at analyzing Pokémon data and formulating strategies, but the kitchen... was truly her blind spot.

As she watched Serena skillfully handling the ingredients and chatting and laughing with Hanako's mother, she inexplicably felt a little... frustrated?

Hanako's mother was so attentive that she immediately noticed Sundae's embarrassment and waved with a smile: "Sundae, come over here too. It doesn't matter if you can't cook. You can help Auntie taste the food to see if it's salty enough. Besides, Auntie also wants to hear more about your stories at school."

Sundae relaxed slightly upon hearing this and also went into the kitchen. While she still couldn't offer much help, Hanako's mother's gentle and thoughtful words quickly eased her nervousness. As Hanako's mother busied herself, she subtly asked the two girls and Satoshi about their travels, creating a warm and harmonious atmosphere.

Serena is gentle and considerate, always paying attention to details. She quietly prepares more of the dishes that Xiaozhi likes to eat; Sundae also calms down to learn.

When Hanako's mother looked at the two kind and lovely girls, who would be her son's girlfriends, a meaningful, motherly smile of relief appeared on her face.

She pulled Xiaozhi aside and whispered, "Xiaozhi, Serena and Sundae are both very good girls. You must cherish the relationship between you and them, okay? You can't bully them. You must be responsible."

"Mom! What are you talking about!" Xiaozhi's face suddenly turned red, and he was in a panic. "I... I will treat them well!"

Hanako's face lit up even brighter when she heard her son answer like this.

It was dinnertime, and the table was laden with delicious food prepared by Hanako's mother and Serena. Everyone gathered around, the atmosphere lively. Ash excitedly recounted the fun events of the conference and his hopes for hatching new companions. Serena listened quietly, occasionally serving him food. Sundae occasionally made a few comments, drawing laughter from everyone.

The setting sun outside the window gilded Pallet Town with a warm golden glow. The glory of a champion, a precious gift, a mother's care, the warmth of two young girls by her side, and a touch of sweet worry...
