The wooden crossbow of the Lisu people is composed of a bow, a crossbow frame, a bowstring, and a trigger.

Because it is a relatively primitive type, it is much simpler to make than modern crossbows, but its lethality should not be underestimated.

When using it, you only need to pull the tough bowstring to the crossbow teeth and fix it, then place the arrow on the crossbow, aim at the target and pull the trigger, and you can use the elastic force of the bowstring to accurately shoot the arrow.

The bow body is usually made of local rock mulberry wood or green chestnut wood. These two types of wood have a fine and elastic texture and are not easy to break. They can be replaced by the wood used by the Yanyuan tribe to make bows and arrows.

The crossbow frame is mainly made of oak; the trigger part is made of cow bones or other bones; and the bowstring is made of four strands of fine hemp rope of moderate thickness.

These things are not difficult to find in the other world. Durable animal bones can be found everywhere, and hemp rope can be replaced by animal tendons.
