The Hero in Exile

Chapter 109 Death of the Dragon King

The moment the dragon stopped, a shadow chain was already around its neck. Brunson and Beast King Hook exerted force on both sides at the same time, suppressing the originally weak dragon a little.

hoo hoo hoo!

The flaming dragon roared angrily, but its momentum was not as strong as before. Every time it tried to break free, it would be forced down by the two guys. Now it couldn't even turn its head.

"Fuck, this damn strength is still so great."

Veins popped out on Brunson's forehead and the broken bricks under his feet cracked. While the dragon was still trying to exert its strength, he quickly wrapped the chain around the marble column and then around his waist twice.

"Humanity is still weak, and even this is strenuous. However, your superb skills and fearless courage make you worthy of being a warrior."

"Oh, is this a compliment? I'll accept it then."

……

You guy, don't die so easily, damn it, damn it. If you had been a little faster just now, Moran kept moving the ice on the ruins. He originally wanted to blow it up directly, but considering Lingyu's previous condition, he could only choose the safest method.

"Lingyu."

"Moran? You're finally here."

Lingyu used the limited power of holy light to activate the holy shield again, and used her body to protect Chu Xinyumo and the aunt, but this was tantamount to overdrawing her life.

Lingyu turned off the holy shield and sat down on the ground as if relieved. Her lips were pale and bloodless. Even when she used the ice barrier and the holy shield to absorb a lot of damage, her clothes were torn in varying degrees and there was no intact piece of her skin.

"Is Sister Lingyu okay?"

The old lady didn't know what to say, she just looked at Lingyu with eyes full of self-blame and concern.

Yu Mo had fainted from fright just now, but Chu Xin was still brave enough and gently shook Ling Yu's arm.

Lingyu didn't have the strength to speak and could only force out a not-so-pretty smile and looked at Chu Xin to comfort her.

Moran put his arm around Lingyu's shoulders and put his other hand through her thighs to hold Lingyu's petite body in a princess hug. Lingyu in his arms shook but didn't move much, just glanced to the other side silently.

Lingyu was pacified to a slightly secluded location. Now she could only be allowed to have a good rest. Moran also asked the aunt to take the child out first, at least they would be safe for now.

Looking at the giant dragon in the sky, Moran analyzed that although she suffered backlash from her forced use of magic, she would be able to recover in no time given her physical fitness. It was indeed good to control her at the moment, but there was no other way to avoid fatal damage.

"Moran."

Lingyu, who was lying at the back, called Moran softly and motioned him to come over. Moran was puzzled but did not think much of it. The moment Lingyu got close to Moran, she grabbed Moran's arm.

Confused at first and then shocked, Moran felt a constant flow of magic power flowing into his body from the point where Lingyu and he were in contact. Moran couldn't bear to see Lingyu, who was so weak, use up her strength and wanted to pull her hand away, but Lingyu had already guessed what Moran was going to do and grabbed him tightly, not giving him any chance.

"Let Lingyu go! You'll be in danger if you continue like this."

Lingyu shook her head: "Don't forget that this body belongs to a hero, and you only have one chance, you know that, so don't resist, I will be very sad."

Lingyu's half-joking did not bring any comfort to Moran's heart, but instead made him feel guilty for his own incompetence.

"Moran, I'll leave the rest to you. You're the Demon King, don't let me down."

Lingyu poured the last bit of her magic power into Moran's body, and the curse that was originally cast on Moran's body began to waver. The chain that was holding the power tightly loosened unexpectedly, and the power returned to nearly 50%, but only for a moment.

The hand that was originally holding Moran fell down weakly, and Lingyu leaned against the wall and fell asleep completely.

"I'll do it."

A hand couldn't help but brush across Lingyu's face, then he stood up to finish the next thing.

"You're finally back. I thought you were scared and ran away with your girlfriend." Brunson said unhappily that he had worked hard here for so long.

"Well, your strength has returned quite a bit?"

Hook noticed that Moran's aura had changed from before.

"That's all thanks to Lingyu, but it's only temporary. Let's deal with this thing first."

Moran mobilized all the devil energy in his body and began to gather it in one place, his heart. Under the entanglement of the devil energy, he could clearly hear his own heartbeat.

Bang bang, bang bang, bang bang.

When he reacted again, devil horns had grown on his head and his black wings spread out, but they were not as big as before. The magic sword felt the powerful demonic energy emitted by Moran and absorbed it greedily. During the period when the power was blocked, Moran himself did not have enough power, so naturally he would not feed the magic sword.

The flaming dragon also sensed this horrifying aura and struggled frantically to escape, but it was too late. The magic sword had already eaten its fill and it was time for the magic sword to get back to work.

Moran stared at the flaming dragon, and he really didn't look like a dragon king at all.

"Annihilate."

The swung sword eroded the dragon's scales as easily as a raging flame, but the blade still retained its sharpness and no gap was visible on the wound when the dragon's head fell to the ground.

Moran's eyes also began to blur. He had just fed all the magic energy he could mobilize into it, and only a little magic energy was left that was barely enough for him to use for attacking.

Driven by instinct, Moran used all his strength to fly to Lingyu's side and fell asleep.
