Chapter 476: Rising Star

In order to establish a new superpower alliance organization, Nightthrush stole all the information about Nova from SkyShield. After analyzing the information, he believed that Richard's power was not taken away, but was temporarily sealed in Richard's body.

In order to awaken Nova's power, Thestral Thrush threw Richard from a tall building, trying to use fear to awaken Nova's power.

He was proved right, the power of Nova was awakened, and Richard became a Nova again, joining the superhero team New Warriors formed by Night Thrasher, and served in the organization for several years.

For many years, Richard had no contact with the Nova Corps, but his encounter with Centurion Carson Thrall changed everything. In revenge for the destruction of the Nebula on Xandar, he rebuilt Xandar.

Soon, Xandar was completely destroyed by the annihilation bugs from the negative space, and all the members of the Nova Corps died except Richard. Richard found Worldmind, a supercomputer that stored the data of the entire Xandar civilization. Worldmind input all its data and all the Nova power into the body of the only survivor Richard, waiting to be used to restart the Nova Corps in the future.

Together they fight against the annihilation swarm - including the Kree, Skrull empires, Star-Lord, Gamora, Super Skrull and other civilian members.

After nearly a year of hard work, Richard successfully stopped the raging tide of Annihilation bugs, but then the Union army suffered a heavy blow from cannons made using the power of Galactus.

Richard then changed his tactics, disbanded the Allied Forces, and organized a small team to infiltrate the Annihilus swarm to implement a plan to assassinate Annihilus himself.

In the end, he succeeded in killing Annihilus, and Drax also killed Thanos and released the imprisoned Galactus. The war ended.

During the Civil War, Richard received an offer from Iron Man: to join the ranks of registered heroes. Richard was then given 24 hours to make a decision.

But without any prior warning, he was hunted by the Thunderbolts, who caused a large number of innocent civilian casualties in their attempt to arrest him. Richard felt that the world had gone crazy, so he rejected Iron Man's proposal and escaped into the universe alone.

Soon, he was hunted by Gamora and Drax who were controlled by the Phalanx, and accidentally came to the edge of the universe, where he found the space base Void (which later became the base of the Guardians of the Galaxy). After getting rid of the control of the Phalanx, he came to Kree Prime with Gamora and Drax, and defeated Ultron, the mastermind behind the scenes, together with Quasar and others. Arriving at the base, Richard assisted the people inside the base to escape, but the Skrull fleet tried to completely destroy the base. Suddenly, the Skrull ship exploded inexplicably, and after the smoke of the explosion dissipated, a group of Centurions of the Nova Corps that Richard had never seen before appeared in front of him.

Later, Richard learned that whenever he fell asleep, Worldmind would control his body and recruit new soldiers to expand the legion. Richard was angry about the fact that he was being controlled, and then he had a dispute with Worldmind.

Although Worldmind promised not to do so in the future, Richard discovered that Worldmind was still recruiting people behind the scenes, and even the living planet, Ego, was recruited, and its consciousness had been replaced by Worldmind and became Worldmind's host.

Worldmind asked Richard to download all NovaForce into the main body of Worldmind so that it could be distributed to all Nova members. Richard agreed, but gave up the act at the last second before the download - he felt that everything Worldmind did was wrong.

Worldmind then forcibly deprived Richard of all his powers. Then Worldmind began to recruit new soldiers in large numbers around the world.

Back on Earth, Richard works hard to prove that Worldmind is using some form of mind manipulation on the new recruits, and his findings are exactly as he expected.

Richard is still working to stop Worldmind's actions.
