I started writing in October 2023. It took me four or five months to write the first book, Re-entering the Official Career Path. I earned about two thousand yuan. Although it was not much, it gave me confidence and I felt that I might be able to try writing.

It was blocked because it was too pornographic and bold, until a few days ago when the site reminded that it could be modified, and all pornographic scenes and some "bold" chapters were deleted. It is really impossible to read it now.

Because my first book was banned, I didn’t think much about it and didn’t have an outline, so I started writing a book called The Beautiful Life in the Courtyard. Although the writing of this book was average, it had good traffic. Later, it was banned because it involved politics, and I had to finish it hastily after major revisions.

After that I wrote the third book which also failed and was also hastily finished. Then came this book, which can be considered as having a good ending.

Speaking of Qi Tongwei, there is also a story.

I don't know what I was thinking at the time but I submitted the book to Feilu. The main idea was that Qi Tongwei worked in a township judicial office after being suppressed. One day, the male protagonist traveled through time and space to become Qi Tongwei and awakened the system reward.

However, the system only gave him a novice gift package and then disappeared completely. Later, when the male protagonist went to Handong University to visit Gao Yuliang, he accidentally met Director Shi (gangster: harmony is the most important thing).

At that time, Qi Tongwei was practicing martial arts and was valued by Director Shi. After learning that Qi Tongwei was suppressed by Liang Qunfeng, he transferred Qi Tongwei to Guangdong Province through the Ministry of Public Security, and then sent Qi Tongwei to Hong Kong Island.

Qi Tongwei grew and prospered in Hong Kong Island and supported the police. After the return, he directly served as the deputy director of the Public Security Department. Then he went to the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and then went to Handong to investigate corruption and took down Liang Qunfeng and others.

It was written that the male protagonist acquired Asia Television, purchased Journey to the West, and invited the main actors of Journey to the West to perform in Hong Kong Island, but the collection was not very high. After discussing with the editor, he deleted the book directly and planned to continue writing on Tomato.

But because of the contract, I can't delete it and have to leave it unfinished. I originally wanted to write it according to this idea on Fanqie, but because of copyright reasons I had to change the track, so this version was created.

This version was signed with a 2024-word contract on June 6, 3. As of now, it has 2 million words, an average of about 126 words a day, which is considered to be a relatively infrequent update among authors.

Let me explain myself here. It’s not that I’m being lazy, but I just don’t have the time.

I am not a full-time writer. Besides, I am almost forty years old and my energy is indeed not as good as that of young people. I have tried my best to write more than 4,000 words a day.

Let me tell you about the details of this book:

This book has been banned three times, which is a bleak fate. It makes me miss the creative environment when I was in school. (Graduated from university in 2012)

The books we read at that time were very explicit. Not to mention those involving sex or politics, as long as they were not too extreme, they were basically acceptable.

But that’s not the case now.

If you want to write something with a bit of color or something borderline sexy, you have to have some skills. My first book, Re-entering the Official Career Path, is a role model, so this book does not have many female protagonists because I was afraid it would be banned.

To be honest, every time I was blocked was a painful journey. I had to make major changes according to the reminders on the site, and even the slightest depth was not enough. I really wanted to finish it in a hurry, but in the end I gritted my teeth and persevered.

In the past nine months, I have basically had no entertainment activities, except for a few times of revising the text. I stopped updating for a few days according to the readers' suggestions and it was quickly reviewed and approved. Otherwise, I updated on time no matter how busy I was. I feel that I have even less hair.

Of course, there is a reward for every effort. So far, my royalties have been RMB 140,000 (tax included). Of course, it cannot be compared with those great writers, but I am satisfied. After all, I only make RMB 5,200 a month doing my job.

Compared with the royalties, the real gain is my own progress and the support of my fellow book lovers.

Since the publication of this book, book lovers have left more than 50,000 comments in total. I have read almost every one of them in order to absorb everyone's wisdom. Some friends' ideas are very good and have become the inspiration for subsequent chapters.

Perhaps due to the subject matter, the recommended traffic for this book is not large. The traffic from the first show and two book tests were very average. Fortunately, the old readers are very supportive, with 30,000 to 40,000 readers reading it every day.

Then let me talk about what I have gained. This book is my first novel with over a million words. Although the score cannot be compared with some great works, it is still 9.2 points, which is considered passing.

Through this book, I gained confidence, understood the meaning of persistence, and of course, my writing skills improved.

Next, let’s talk about economic development, which readers have been talking about.

This aspect is indeed my shortcoming. I have been working at the grassroots level (police station) since I started working. I was seconded to the county discipline inspection commission for three years. The work I was involved in was either anti-corruption or solving cases. I have no relevant experience, so it is indeed difficult to write about it.

In addition, because this book has no outline, and I was assigned a month by the Discipline Inspection Commission to handle a case, I was very busy during that period, and I was rushed to keep updating, so the quality declined a lot.

At the same time, because there was no good planning, Qi Tongwei made progress too fast and I couldn’t write any more later. If I continued, I would probably be blocked again. Just last month, I was blocked for more than ten days and was completely released on February 2.

At this point I also understood that this is what the website wants me to finish!

Overall, I would give myself a score of 9 for this book. It can be used as a leisurely reading after dinner.

Today’s platforms do not allow content to exceed the ministerial level, and even ministerial content has begun to restrict traffic, otherwise the ending of this book would not be like this.

Since it cannot be explained clearly here, I will not go into the specific ending, but everyone should understand what the author means.
