Princess Lily Arrives

After the conspiracy of the Black Shadow Society was completely disintegrated, life in the palace returned to peace. Lily finally had time to relax and enjoy the rare peace. However, the peaceful days did not last long, as a strange letter broke it all.

On this day, Lily was admiring the flowers in the garden when Xiao Li suddenly ran over with a letter in his hand: "Princess, someone sent a letter. It's unsigned and looks suspicious."

Lily took the letter and saw only two words written on the envelope: "Urgent". She opened the envelope and found only a note inside, with one line of words written on it: "At midnight, go to the abandoned temple in the western suburbs. There is important information."

"Who sent this?" Lily asked with a frown.

Xiao Li shook his head: "The person who delivered the letter was a masked man. He ran away after delivering the letter. I couldn't see his appearance clearly."

Lily was alert, but also curious. An abandoned temple? Important information? She decided to find out. So she called Zhang San, Ye Ying and Qing Qing together and went to the abandoned temple in the western suburbs.

At midnight, the four of them quietly came to the abandoned temple. The temple had been in disrepair for a long time and was in a dilapidated state. The surrounding weeds were overgrown, making it look particularly eerie. The moonlight shone through the tattered roof and onto the ground of the temple, giving people a weird feeling.

"This place doesn't look like there's anything good going on." Zhang San muttered softly.

Yeying nodded: "We should be careful."

The four entered the temple cautiously, and suddenly heard a low sound of footsteps, and then a black shadow flashed and appeared in front of them.

"You are finally here." The black shadow said in a low voice.

Lily looked closely and found that the black shadow was a middle-aged man in a cloak. His face was covered, revealing only a pair of cold eyes.

"Who are you? Why did you ask us to come here?" Lily asked.

The man sneered: "I am one of the remnants of the Black Shadow Society, but I don't want to follow their path. I have some important information about the Black Shadow Society, can we exchange it?"

"What do you want to exchange?" Ye Ying asked coldly.

"I need you to help me rescue my family. They were captured by the Black Shadow Society. If you are willing to help me, I will tell you all the information."

Lily thought for a moment and nodded in agreement: "Okay, we promise you. But if you dare to lie to us, you will bear the consequences."

The man nodded with satisfaction: "Very good, my family is being held in a house in the south of the city. We must act quickly, otherwise they will be in danger."

The four followed the man to the south of the city and found that the house was heavily guarded. Ye Ying whispered, "We need to split up. Xiao Li and Zhang San will be responsible for attracting the guards' attention. Qingqing and I will follow the princess in to rescue people."

After the plan was finalized, Xiao Li and Zhang San quietly went around to the front door of the house and deliberately made noises to attract the guards to come and check. While the guards were away, Lily, Yeying and Qingqing quietly entered the house and found their imprisoned family members.

"Hurry, we don't have much time." Yeying urged.

Lily quickly untied the ropes and led the tied family away. However, just as they were about to leave, a group of men in black suddenly rushed out and surrounded them.

"It seems that you have walked into a trap." The leading man in black sneered.

Lily's heart tightened, knowing that something was wrong. She quickly pulled out a knife from her sleeve, ready to fight the man in black to the death. Yeying and Qingqing also drew their weapons, ready to fight.

However, just when the two sides were on the verge of a fight, there was a loud noise suddenly, the gate of the mansion was kicked open, and Xiao Li and Zhang San led a team of guards to rush in.

"Protect the princess and destroy the enemy!" Xiao Li shouted loudly.

The guards quickly joined the battle, and the men in black fled when they saw the situation was not good. Lily and Yeying took the opportunity to evacuate quickly with their rescued family members and returned to a safe area.

The man said to Lily gratefully: "Thank you for your help. Now I can tell you all the information."

He took out a booklet from his cloak and handed it to Lily: "This booklet records the names of all members of the Black Shadow Society and their hiding places. I hope it will be helpful to you."

Lily took the booklet and said gratefully, "Thank you for your help. This is very important to us."

The man nodded: "This is the only thing I can do. I hope you can eradicate the Black Shadow Society as soon as possible and avenge my family."

After saying this, the man turned and left, disappearing into the night.

Lily flipped open the booklet and saw the detailed list of members and hiding places of the Black Shadow Society. She realized that this would be the key to their complete destruction of the Black Shadow Society.

"We must deliver this information to the Emperor immediately," Lily said firmly.

After returning to the palace, Lily presented the booklet to the emperor, who was overjoyed after reading it: "With this information, we can finally eradicate the Black Shadow Society completely!"

The emperor immediately ordered the mobilization of the army to launch a comprehensive crackdown on all the hiding places of the Black Shadow Society. Lily, Xiao Li, Zhang San and Ye Ying continued to fight on the front line as a special operations team.
