The structure of the temple is a typical Byzantine church. It is located in the center of the city, with pure white paint all over the exterior walls.

The pointed roof and the windows in the hall are made of colorful mosaic glass patterns. It is extremely elegant and gorgeous, and its luxury far exceeds all the buildings I have seen before.

Such a building was not originally included in Lin Jing's urban construction. It was built after the city was leveled. It was built entirely according to the requirements of the temple. It was extremely luxurious and gold was treated like dirt.

Chris changed his clothes. His silver uniform was embroidered with the Silver Moon Clan's full moon emblem. His silver hair stood up high, revealing his delicate and cold face. He looked even colder when he wasn't smiling. His purple eyes were looking straight ahead, and he looked calm and composed.

But his beating heart told him that he was not as calm as he looked.

After entering the door, facing you is a pure white sculpture. You can tell at a glance that it is a male figure because of its strong figure. He holds a round ball in his hand, with a gauze on his head, looking at the object in his palm with compassion.

Mortals are not worthy of gazing upon the appearance of the gods, and so this sculpture does not depict his face. However, the craftsman's extraordinary skill was enough to carve out an expression of compassion based solely on the outlines of the facial features.

On both sides of the sculpture, one on the left and one on the right, stood two guards wearing temple uniforms. They were also wearing silver-white clothes, but in a simpler style, with light gold patterns embroidered on the lapels and cuffs.

Chris walked closer and looked at them squarely with an indifferent expression. His purple eyes glanced at them, revealing his innate arrogance.

"I came to see my brother."

The guards did not show any expression of confusion or surprise. They just walked over in a businesslike manner, holding a porcelain bowl full of water in their hands, and sprinkled some of the water on Chris with their five fingers.

The liquid that looked like water fell on Chris, but there were no water stains, as if it disappeared out of thin air.

"This is a routine inspection by outside visitors, please do not resist."

He had experienced this kind of thing many times, but this time his mood quickened for no reason. The inspection that he usually thought was boring and quick to pass by now felt like a thorn in his back, and every minute and every second was torture.

Knowing what the dummies would say next, Chris spoke before they could even start: "Eternal Sun, the light that never fades; the bearer of light, the embodiment of goodness and beauty. Your servants offer you their eternal loyalty."

As soon as he finished speaking, there was no change in the surroundings, and Chris entered the temple as usual.

But after he left, a streak of bright gold appeared on the eyes of the statue, which seemed ordinary to Chris, and was quickly erased by a streak of pure black.

Fortunately, the people guarding on both sides of the statue did not notice anything unusual.

Caressing his heaving chest, Chris suppressed his violently beating heart. Why was he so nervous?

Was it because he had, in some way, betrayed his pledge of allegiance?

What a joke! Could it be that God will punish him?

Chris, who knew the structure of the temple well, did not go to the elders' meeting room immediately. Instead, he hid his body, avoided the patrolling guards, and entered Cronin's office.

The door, which would have been strictly guarded even if no one was there in the past, was now empty. Chris did not think much about the reason. He bravely knocked on the door and waited for three or four seconds, but no one responded.

He then pushed the door open. The elders' offices all had keys to the dungeon. Chris knew his brother's habits, so he pulled out the drawer and took out the key.

As soon as the door closed, Chris ran into the patrolling guards. He pretended to be a new arrival and asked them, "Why is my brother's office unattended? How do you do things?"

His frown, with a hint of admonition in his eyes, was perfectly normal for a young master who was relying on the power of others to bully others.

The guard simply saluted respectfully: "My Lord, this is Lord Krollin's order. The guards of the temple have been transferred out recently, so there are only the most basic patrol guards."

The young master was very dissatisfied with their work attitude. He glanced at them impatiently and asked as a matter of course: "Where is my brother now?"

"I don't know. You can go to the meeting room and look for it."

Without getting entangled with them, Chris turned and walked towards the meeting room. After he had some distance between them, he quickly changed direction and walked towards the dungeon.

Perhaps because he was too confident or too conceited, Pathak did not assign anyone to guard the dungeon.

Given the level of security at the temple, and the fact that only the elders hold the key to the dungeon, there is really no need to send more people to guard it.

Following the spiral staircase down to the dungeon, Chris took out the key and opened the dungeon door. The dungeon had many floors, and the prisoners became more vicious and had more means of confinement as they went down.

In fact, the temple could have killed them when they were captured, but for some reason, they still spared their lives.

Chris didn't know the reason, and Clorin refused to tell him, so the matter was left unsolved.

Without thinking, he walked to the next level. This level was filled with low-level orcs, nothing interesting to see. The second level was filled with mid-level orcs from six to eight stars.

The third level is for those who have nine stars and are about to become beast kings, as well as weak beast kings with little strength.

The fourth floor is where the beast kings are actually imprisoned. The number of staircases this time is twice that of the upper three floors. It was obviously built specially to isolate the abilities of these beast kings. There are also unknown array patterns engraved on the walls.

No matter how these people struggled, not even a single sound could be heard. They truly achieved what it meant to have no way to heaven and no door to earth.

Finally reaching the fourth underground floor, Chris scratched his head in pain as he looked at the tightly closed black door.

He didn't think that the Beast King would be imprisoned on the upper three floors, as the confinement conditions there would not restrict them.

But no one told him that there were other conditions required to enter the place where the Beast King was imprisoned!

Chris did not give up. He had learned the theoretical knowledge in this area and knew that there must be other ways to open the door besides entering with the key.

After half trying and half rubbing for a while, he finally touched a depression on the wall that looked indistinguishable to the naked eye. It seemed to be a palm. He pressed his hand on it, and his palm was pierced. Chris quickly withdrew his hand, but a bloody hole was still left on his palm.

Blood soaked into the black wall and the door slowly opened.

"Why can my blood open this door?"

There is a special formation engraved on the door, which requires a special bloodline to open. After taking over Krollin's body, Jonal modified the formation. His blood can open it, so of course Chris, his brother who shares the same blood with him, can also open it.

No matter how much he planned, he would never have thought that Chris was so bold that he would chase him here and seek death even after being exposed.

The Beast King's self-healing ability was so strong that while Chris was staring at it hesitantly, the bloody hole in his palm healed.

Weak curses came from the depths of darkness.

"Damn you, Crolin! I curse you to have no descendants! Betrayer, burn in flames! Fall into darkness forever!"

The cursing voice was sometimes louder and sometimes softer. When Chris heard his brother's name, he frowned.
