Lisu (li su) people: one of my country's ethnic minorities.

The Lisu people originated from the ancient Diqiang ethnic group, belong to the South Asian type of the Mongoloid race, and have a close relationship with the Yi people.

The "Genesis" legend handed down by the Lisu people from generation to generation has many similarities with the creation legends of the Yi, Naxi and Hani peoples in Liangshan, which shows that the various groups of the Yi language branch have had close kinship since ancient times. In ancient times, they belonged to the same ethnic origin. After a long period of historical development, they gradually differentiated into different tribal groups and later formed a single nation.

The population of the Lisu people is 2010 (4), mainly concentrated in the four counties of Lushui, Fugong, Gongshan, Lanping in Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture in the northwest of Yunnan Province and Weixi Lisu Autonomous County in Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. The rest are distributed in Lijiang, Dehong, Chuxiong, Baoshan, Dali, Lincang, Pu'er and other prefectures (cities), as well as Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture and Panzhihua City in Sichuan Province. There are also sporadic distributions in other parts of the country. Lisu is both a name for others and a name for themselves. This name was first seen in the writings of the Tang Dynasty. Their clothes are colorful, and the women of the Lisu tribe are known as rainbow fairies. When I was looking up information, I watched a lot of videos posted by Lisu people who run their own media.

There is a video that mentions (legend ha) that it is said that a long, long time ago, the Lisu people lived a life of men farming and women weaving. Later, a war broke out and the men went out to fight, while the women stayed at home to take care of the family and wait.

As time went by, more and more wars were fought, and the men traveled farther and farther. In order to reassure their wives and to facilitate sending messages, they would tear the enemy flags they had won into small strips of cloth, and each man would receive one. Every time they won a battle, they would send a strip of cloth home.

In this way, the women received more and more cloth strips in different colors. After a long time, they piled up. In order to commemorate, some clever Lisu women sewed the cloth strips into clothes and wore them. Since then, more and more people have followed suit, and this custom has spread, creating today's Lisu clothing.

Tatar: Tatar is one of the ethnic groups with a smaller population in my country, with a total population of 3556 (2010). They are mainly scattered in the northern part of Tianshan Mountain in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, with a large number of people in Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, and Urumqi City. They are more concentrated in Urumqi, Yining, Tacheng, Qitai, Jimsar, Altay, Changji and other places.

The Tatars are a nation with a long history. During the Tang Dynasty, they were a tribe under the rule of the nomadic Turkic Khanate in northern my country. At the end of the 6th century and the beginning of the 7th century, after the decline of the Turkic Khanate, the Tatars gradually became stronger. After the Tang Dynasty, the name "Tatar" became a general term for tribes in northern China. After the rise of Mongolia, the Tatars became a tribe under the rule of the Mongol Khanate.
