My Little Pony: Another World Adventure

Chapter 76 Oh, my dear comrade, your thing is glowing!

Latan flipped through daily newspapers and magazines. The descriptions of the Ministry of Magic's involvement in Hogwarts in the two newspapers were not exactly the same. They were poles apart.

The Daily Prophet lavishly praised the Ministry of Magic for its care for young wizards, and even used pen and ink to assure adult wizards on behalf of Minister Fudge that he would take good care of the future flowers of the wizarding world. However, no matter how one reads this official jargon, it reeks of a kidnapper demanding a ransom; it is cold, dull and incontrovertible.

"The Quibbler" uses the embarrassing photos of Umbridge and Mr. Crouch as the framework, and writes thousands of words to criticize the formalism and bureaucracy of the Ministry of Magic. It can be said that every word is completely heartfelt and full of Xenophilius' dissatisfaction with the environment his daughter Luna is in.

As soon as these two articles came out, Latan didn't need magic to foresee that the auditorium would be filled with letters from parents. Seeking the truth and caring about the cubs are human nature, and this incident just happened to satisfy these two points.

In the teacher's seat, Professor Dumbledore was completely drowned in owls. Only the old man could be seen waving his arms among the huge clusters of feathers. Apparently, many powerful people knew about Hogwarts' political stance in advance and immediately sent letters to get to the bottom of it.

When will mortals realize that it doesn’t matter what the truth is, what matters is what you decide to do when things change.

Colin poked his head from under Latan's arm and pointed excitedly at the photo in The Quibbler: "I took this photo!"

"How does it feel to see your photo printed in a magazine, big reporter?" Latan asked with a smile, turning a page of the magazine. It suddenly began to introduce a kind of harassment that would drill into people's brains and make noises, and the illustrations became very crude cartoons.

"It feels... so weird." Colin scratched his head. "Why do the printed photos look worse than when I took them? Look at the blurred background... No, I have to take better photos next time!"

Latarn stuffed the newspapers and magazines into Colin's arms, pushed the plates and goblets in front of him away to make a small space, took out parchment and a shorthand quill from his pocket and began to draft an important letter, while asking, "What are your classes today?"

Dante pretended to stir the double espresso with a deep look, crossed his legs but did not forget to support his chin, and took out the timetable from the inner pocket of his robe in a reserved but coquettish manner.

"Two classes of History of Magic, and two classes of Magic Alchemical Machinery." He took a deep breath of the rich aroma of coffee. "It's great. I can catch up on sleep right after getting up."

Yuan Qinglong grabbed Dante's hand holding the cup with an expressionless face, and suddenly stuffed a whole cup of double-espresso coffee directly into the mouth of the white-haired slut, sneering: "Make up for some sleep for me."

Dante's face was as bitter as a dried mushroom. He covered his throat with both hands: "Ga-Ga-"

Latan looked up at the ceiling with owls flying around in confusion: "Who still uses ducks to deliver mail? Is it so fashionable?"

"It's not a duck, it's Dante!" Colin used all his strength and slammed Dante on the back, "Ultra Palm Strike!"

With a "puff" sound, a brown water line spurted out of Dante's mouth, spanning the entire surface of the Gryffindor table. Zheng Shilong and Lin Youdao, who were sitting and discussing, looked horrified and leaned back to avoid it, watching it hit Cassandra's back of the head.

Cassandra froze, and tremblingly raised her hand to touch the liquid on her wet golden hair. Her pretty face suddenly turned murderous, and she turned around and drew her wand: "My front teeth are like sticks!"

"It's none of my business, sister!" Dante cried out loudly and lowered his head in time. Cassandra's spell flew past his scalp and hit Havana who was reading a newspaper.

With a scream, Havana's front teeth suddenly grew longer than a carrot and pierced the newspaper in her hand, causing a burst of laughter and noise. The little girl was about to cry, and she was too embarrassed to raise her head and buried her whole face in Elena's arms.

Elena screamed, "Ah! Your teeth stuck in my belly button!" With tears in her eyes, she raised her wand towards Cassandra who was about to apologize, "Grinning hula!"

Cassandra jumped aside quickly. Hey, now it was Draco who was in trouble. Master Malfoy was talking to his two followers Crabbe and Goyle. Suddenly, his lips started to move at high speed, spitting saliva everywhere like a shower.

Little Draco had never suffered such an injustice before. He slapped the grinning Crabbe and Goyle each, pointed menacingly in the direction of Hufflepuff, and said, "Plurplurplurplur..."

The explosive laughter almost blew the ceiling of the hall apart. Sirius Black hunched over and pounded the table wildly. Harry and Ron laughed so hard that they slid under the table. Professor McGonagall and Professor Snape walked down from the teachers' seats angrily and grabbed the culprits Dante and Cassandra with one hand each. Professor Flitwick breathed a sigh of relief that no students of his college were affected. Havana was escorted to the school hospital by Professor Sprout.

Ratan was grinning too, but when he heard Professor McGonagall shout out "Twenty points from Gryffindor," the smile disappeared as if it had been hit by a vanishing spell.

"Professor Snape didn't deduct points from Slytherin." He argued with Professor McGonagall.

"So he is a bad role model." Professor McGonagall was so angry that her nostrils were bulging. "And you, Mr. Magnus, if you dare to wear sunglasses to class, I will also deduct your points."

Latan pushed up the brown sunglasses on his nose and raised his hand helplessly in a French military salute. "Okay, professor, I understand."

Professor McGonagall left angrily, and Dante returned to his seat, rubbing his ears and looking dusty. A tuft of hair on the back of his head stood straight up because of the Fang Curse, making him look like a unicorn.

"That was a close call, buddy." He touched the tuft of hair with lingering fear, "I thought I had to write a self-criticism."

Minamoto Kiyotaka was more interested in the letter that Latan had just written, and asked, "Excuse me for asking, but who is this letter written to?"

"Could it be a girl?" Colin's eyes lit up and he raised his camera like a paparazzi.

Ginny's ears pricked up.

"What are you thinking about! It's for Lucius Malfoy." Latarn gave Colin a slap, causing the young reporter to roll on the ground in pain. He waved his hand and summoned Ahriman to pick up the folded letter. "The warm snow has dealt a heavy blow to the economic environment of the wizarding world. Now is a time of depression for all industries. It's a good time to buy all those abandoned buildings and shops."

Dante scratched his head, the tuft of hair still standing straight up, and asked blankly, "Then isn't this a losing business?"

Latan watched Ahriman flap his wings and fly out of the auditorium, then he sighed and patted Dante on the shoulder, "Dude, you are different from others. Don't waste your time studying."

Dante blinked his eyes: "Are you praising me for being smart?"

Latan smiled but said nothing.

Ginny looked relieved. She opened her mouth to say something, but Minamoto Kiyotaka raised his hand and pointed to the door of the auditorium: "Look, that idiot is here."

Gilderoy Lockhart walked into the auditorium cautiously. At this moment, the famous novelist had lost all the vigor and vitality he had when he first started school. His brown curly hair was piled greasy on his head, and his unmade-up face looked at least twenty years older. His stained shirt was wrinkled and hung on his thin shoulders. He exuded a stench of decadence from the inside out.

"What is he doing here?" Ginny frowned in disgust. "This guy has no backbone at all. He didn't even know where he hid when the orcs attacked the castle. He is a complete loser."

"He's probably here to ask Old Deng to resign," Dante said gloatingly, "He still has some sense of shame."

Unite them.

Latan narrowed his eyes. Everyone has their own strengths, and Lockhart was good at one of the few things...

"He can't leave." Latan said decisively, and gestured to Zheng Shilong in front of his friends' surprised looks, "Please invite Mr. Lockhart and Miss Lovegood over."

Zheng Shilong stood up happily, and when he passed by Lockhart, he hooked his foot, causing the novelist to fall awkwardly. The Iron-masked Man bent down indifferently and grabbed Lockhart's ankle, and then made an invitation gesture to Luna, and dragged Lockhart to Latarn's feet like a mop.

Lockhart's nose was broken by the fall just now. He had lost all his energy and didn't even pay attention to the pointing and talking of the little wizards around him. He knelt on the ground and begged Latarn again and again: "Please let me go, I can't stay in this crappy place for even a minute! Just treat me like shit and let me go!"

"Don't be so self-deprecating, Mr. Lockhart. You are not only useful, but also very useful." Latarn took out a handkerchief and gently wiped the blood off Lockhart's face. His eyes under the sunglasses looked at the smiling Luna, "Ms. Lovegood, the sales of The Quibbler are not bad, right?"

"Just call me Luna." The girl with platinum hair opened her round eyes and waved a piece of parchment in surprise. "Dad reprinted it. He said that people seem to be more interested in these little things in the Ministry of Magic than the Crumple-Horned Snorkeller."

"There's no such thing as a Crumple-Horned Snorkle..." Ginny protested feebly.

"Of course there is!" Luna's voice suddenly became less ethereal. "Even if you have a quarter of me in your body, you can't deny the existence of this magical creature! It is a huge creature with big curved horns, red skin, and makes a snoring-like sound-"

"Let's put the Snorlax aside for now." Facing two sisters who were one quarter of their size, Latarn quickly tried to smooth things over. "Luna, I remember that The Quibbler is a bimonthly publication, right?"

"There are too few articles submitted." Luna pouted. "Almost all of the articles are written by Dad alone. He also has to draw illustrations and do the layout. The publication time can't be fast enough. I really don't know why no one submits articles."

Minamoto Kiyotaka flipped through Latan's The Quibbler, his brows knitted together by an article that argued that there were giant toads with three legs living on the moon. "I'm not surprised at all."

"Wow!" Dante came over and exclaimed in a pompous tone as if he had discovered a new world, "It turns out there are living things on the moon!" This despicable tone earned him a punch from Minamoto Kiyotaka.

"Shut up, you duck." Minamoto Kiyotaka said with disdain.

The half-demon covered his chest which was hurt by the beating. "It's not Duck, it's Dante!"

"Now, that will no longer be a problem." Latarn grabbed Lockhart like Santa Claus taking out a huge gift box from his bag. "Please allow me to introduce you to Mr. Gilderoy Lockhart, a fantastic professional writer! I believe that with his help, The Quibbler will surely evolve into a weekly magazine!"

He put his kind smile close to Lockhart's little face, "I'm here to introduce you to a job. You don't intend to refuse me, do you, sir?"

Lockhart was frightened by this smile and turned almost as pale as a ghost. He shook his head repeatedly: "No, no, no."

"Hmm..." Luna sucked her thumb and looked Lockhart up and down with her hazy light eyes. "I can let Dad give it a try and post a few of his articles to see how readers respond."

"Then my royalties..." Lockhart said weakly.

"I don't think Dad would pay anyone to write an article," Luna said dreamily. "They write because they feel honored, and of course, to see their names in the newspaper."

Lockhart opened his mouth wide, looking at Luna's confused yet serious expression, and then at the three Axis powers who were grinning in silence.
