My Little Pony: Another World Adventure

Chapter 72: The Priory of the Holy Spirit

"How about using this as an eye mask?"

"Don't tell me this is the only option."

"this?"

"Uh... let's just go with the one from before."

The morning sun shone into the hall, shining on the little wizards who reluctantly got out of their sleeping bags. Professors woke up students one by one along the broken long tables, while waving their wands to repair the walls and floors destroyed in the orc invasion.

Tapestries embroidered with the symbolic animals of the four major colleges were returned to the walls, the ancient Gothic decorative carvings were restored to their original state, and the castle caretaker, Mr. Filch, rearranged the paintings one by one with a curse, while he had a passionate exchange of insults with the characters in the paintings.

The golden plates, covered with dust and gravel, were scrubbed to a gleaming shine by the house-elves overnight, and filled with a variety of meals for students, professors, Hogsmeade villagers, Enforcement Department agents, and centaurs to enjoy.

Latan sat on the giant steel folding stool and, following Ginny's advice, put on the brown sunglasses (bought in Diagon Alley before school started) to cover the horrible right eye that imprisoned the golden ring with flesh and blood.

At the same time, accompanied by a whirring sound of wings, owls that had rested for several days because of the warm snow flew into the hall in droves, and letters and packages fell into the arms of the little wizards like raindrops.

Ginny carefully guarded the oatmeal and sandwich she was eating. Although the owls were trained not to defecate indoors easily, no one could guarantee that these birds without sphincters would not drop unexpected surprises like the Stuka bombers that bombed London.

"So, Latan..." She picked up a chestnut feather from the milk jug and covered the oatmeal with milk. "Your sister, Lani, is only left with a soul, and it has been transferred from Luna to my body?"

Ratan pushed up his sunglasses (adjustable size! optional degree! only 40 Knuts!), gave a piece of bacon to Ahriman the Horned Owl who brought back the Daily Prophet, and nodded as he unrolled the tightly rolled newspaper: "Yes."

Luna's ethereal singing voice came from the direction of the Ravenclaw table: "Curved horn snorer~Curved horn snorer~Curved horn snorer~Curved big horn silly beast~"

Ginny raised her eyebrows and forcibly suppressed the urge to comment on Luna's lyrics. "So what is our relationship now? Am I your sister or something?"

"To be precise, it's one-fourth of a sister." Latan corrected with German rigor, "The soul and body are equally important. Lani abandoned her body, so she only has half left. Luna has one-fourth of the power of the stars and the moon in her body, and you have one-fourth of the consciousness in your body."

"Then...then I..." Ginny was embarrassed and her cheeks were red, "Latan...brother..."

Dante, who was eating pizza, let out a muffled laugh and almost spit out the cheese from his mouth. He successfully earned a look of disgust from Minamoto no Kiyotaka.

"Nein (German: No)." Ratan opened the Daily Prophet and read today's front-page news. "Rani is just living in your body, not replacing your existence. The unique and brave girl is the real you, and this kind of you is the most important to me, Ginny."

"Oh..." Ginny scooped the oatmeal frantically, her cheeks even redder than before, almost the same color as her hair.

Dante gave Latarn a thumbs up. "Dude, you'd be considered a romantic in Sicily if you said that. Don't you agree, Kiyotaka?"

"Don't ask me." Minamoto Kiyotaka slowly cut the pork chop on the plate. The pungent smell of British meat made him wrinkle his delicate nose. "Please tell Latan for me. Although I know the important responsibility he shoulders, it doesn't mean that I forgive him."

Dante turned to Latan with an embarrassed look: "Qinglong said..."

"Please tell Minamoto Kiyotaka for me." Latan stared at the words on the newspaper without blinking, "Everything I did was for a greater goal. I don't care whether he chooses to forgive me or not."

Dante turned again with a bitter face: "Pull——"

"A greater goal? Ha..." Minamoto Kiyotaka sneered, "Why do I only see a leader who makes decisions based on his own ideas?"

"Ouch! You two can chat on yourselves!" Dante stood up irritably, picked up his half-eaten strawberry smoothie and Margherita pizza and sat next to Colin.

Without Dante's separation, Minamoto Kiyotaka seemed even more aggressive: "Latan, what on earth are you thinking? We regulators gathered together to control the time travelers. After the time travelers have caused such serious damage to this country, you are now telling me to cooperate with the time travelers? I absolutely cannot accept this!"

Latan noticed that Ginny was looking at him uneasily, so he moved along the bench towards Minamoto Kiyotaka, closed the newspaper, bent down, stared into Minamoto Kiyotaka's eyes, and said in a low voice: "Do you remember how you were chosen by Professor Dumbledore?"

Minamoto Kiyotaka's cheek twitched. After a brief hesitation, he chose to tell Latan what happened at that time, "I... I escaped from the research institute. It was at night, and the people from the Snake Eight Clan were chasing me. I ran all the way, and finally had to jump off the cliff... If my words were not a ghost, I would have died at that time, and then..."

"Didn't the Sheqi Eight Clan use firearms?" Latan interrupted. "If the research institute is in the mountains, then even if they opened fire, the police and the government wouldn't notice it. Not to mention that the mountain is most likely the private property of the Sheqi Eight Clan."

"No." Yuan Qinglong was slightly stunned, with a strange look on his face, "I clearly saw those people holding guns... Why?"

"Go on. What happened after you jumped off the cliff?"

"I wandered in the mountains for three days, hiding in the cracks of rocks during the day and walking downstream along the river at night. One night, I saw a silver phoenix resting on a tree, and it was looking at me."

"Dumbledore's Patronus." Ratan nodded, "Unless there is another wizard who can summon a phoenix with the Patronus Charm."

"Yes, it was mentioned in the original book." Minamoto Kiyotaka recalled, absentmindedly chopping the pork chop into pieces with his knife. "The phoenix led me into the town at the foot of the mountain. There I heard the sound of a violin, and later I learned that the song was Vivaldi's Winter. I followed the sound into the empty room and saw the automatic violin and Professor Dumbledore. Later..."

"My dear friend." Latan sighed, rolled up the newspaper and tapped Minamoto Kiyotaka's head gently, knocking him out of his memories. "Don't you think this is all too coincidental? You just happened to escape, the people from the Snake Eight Clan just happened not to shoot, and there just happened to be a principal of a British magic school traveling in Japan, and he just happened to meet you who was desperate."

Dante, who had been listening, interrupted and said, "This plot has a light novel vibe to it. Something like 'As the principal, I met you who ran away from home, and learned magic to become the strongest dragon clan'."

"The title of your book is so long that it can occupy a counter in a bookstore in Tokyo." Minamoto Kiyotaka couldn't help but complain.

"In short," Latan brought the topic back, "We all know what kind of people the time travelers in the school are like, but if dealing with a time traveler of this strength requires the principal to go all over the world to find people like us to gain favor with us, wouldn't that make this white wizard look like a moron who can't even handle naughty students?

"Even if he wants Harry Potter to resign himself to his fate, I can let the Boy-Who-Lived kill Voldemort right now. The cost would be nothing more than the loss of a few insignificant Horcruxes. This White wizard obviously has other intentions, and he will definitely benefit from it."

Minamoto Kiyotaka remained silent. He knew that what Latan said made sense, but he didn't want to agree with it emotionally.

So he said to Dante: "Don't you hate time travelers the most? Why is it that I am the one who is most disgusted with cooperating with time travelers now?"

"I do hate time travelers, man!" Dante cried out in injustice, "But I hate it even more when others use me! Even if I want to take revenge on the time travelers, it has to be my own choice. Want to use sweet words to manipulate me like a puppet? Don't even think about it!"

Minamoto Kiyotaka opened his mouth and said to Latan who was unfolding the newspaper again: "So, you are also..."

Ratan glanced at the teachers' seats at the top of the hall. Dumbledore was sitting on the big golden chair in the middle, his face a little pale, talking to Grindelwald, who had changed into new clothes. He turned the page of the newspaper calmly: "Hmm."

Minamoto Kiyotaka lowered his head, and the three supervisors fell silent for a moment. All that could be heard was Colin stuttering in Chinese.

Liu Yiqing, an intern from the Executive Department of Kassel College, patiently gestured to Colin with his lips, "Tell me: Have you eaten?"

"Why are you holding on?" Colin repeated with difficulty, but his pronunciation was not exactly the same as Liu Yiqing's. It could only be said that they were completely unrelated.

"Not bad, not bad." Liu Yiqing said in a relaxed tone, ruffling Colin's light brown hair with her hands. "It's much better than I expected. Little guy, why do you suddenly want to learn Chinese?"

"I want to be a photographer in the future." Facing the beautiful face of Liu Yiqing, a girl from Sichuan, Colin shyly avoided eye contact and fiddled with the focus knob on the Polaroid camera. "I want to record the beautiful scenery and historical culture around the world, and I will definitely go to other countries to collect folk songs in the future. China is one of my must-go stops, so..."

"That's a great wish!" Liu Yiqing encouraged generously, "But China is so big, and every place has a different dialect. If you only learn Mandarin, you won't be able to communicate with the locals."

"Then can you teach me?" Colin asked eagerly.

"Okay." Liu Yiqing raised a wicked smile, "Tell me: Sieg Heil!!!"

Her voice suddenly rose, startling the Axis trio. Latan nearly tore the newspaper, the strawberry smoothie spoon stabbed into Dante's nostril, and Minamoto Kiyotaka's knife cut through the pork chop, breaking the plate.

"Si...ah?" Colin said suspiciously, "Isn't this Chinese?"

"This is 'very good' in Wenzhou dialect. Americans call Wenzhou dialect the devil's language." Liu Yiqing laughed so hard that her body shook. "Okay, okay, it's just a joke. Next, I will seriously teach you Sichuan dialect--"

A large hand grabbed her shoulder like an iron clamp. Professor Mans Rundstedt's voice froze Liu Yiqing's smile as if she had stared into the magic eye of Medusa. "Officer Liu, I remember there seems to be a rule in the school rules: no loud noises during meals."

Liu Yiqing stood up tremblingly and faced Professor Mans, whose eyes were almost spitting fire, "I was wrong, Professor..."

"How many times have I told you to do your job properly when you are on duty?" Professor Mans looked at his thick-skinned student with a look of disappointment. "Now, I am your superior. Get out there and run around, shouting 'I will never make fun of Nazis again'."

In front of the old German cross flag who had witnessed the fall of the Berlin Wall, Liu Yiqing seemed to shrink. She asked timidly, "How many laps do I have to run, sir?"

Professor Mance grinned grimly, "Run until I tell you to stop! Go!"

Looking at Liu Yiqing's back as she ran out of the auditorium like she had lost her parents, Latan had a strange look on his face. He looked at each other with Yuan Qinglong and Dante. Finally, the three of them checked out at the same time - they couldn't bear it any longer and burst into laughter.

Along with laughter, conflicts between friends melt away.

"By the way." Latan smiled and turned the page of the newspaper. "Dante, remember to drive the time travelers in the school to the lawn and let them continue to build the defense wall."
