The Love between Hanxiang and Qianlong

Chapter 17: Xiaoyanzi and Yongqi have a conflict

When they arrived at their new residence, Hanxiang wanted to remind Xiaoyanzi, but she was already in such a mess that she had no energy to care about anything else. She was also worried about Xiaoyanzi.

Ziwei stepped forward and held Hanxiang's hand

"Xiaoyanzi, I will help you, and you should get out of here as soon as possible.

What Xiaoyanzi said was also true. I was there that day.

Hanxiang, you are so outstanding. Your status in the Uyghur ethnic group is second only to Ali Khoja, and your popularity is even higher than Ali Khoja.

You will definitely have many suitors, but Mondane is too fanatical and possessive of you, which is not a good thing."

Hanxiang lowered her head and thought about Ziwei's words

"I will think it over carefully, thank you Ziwei."

Ziwei glanced at Qianlong and went to Xiaoyanzi. Qianlong took Hanxiang to the room.

As soon as Xiaoyanzi got off the carriage, she found Yongqi and questioned him.

"What's going on between you and Cai Lian? Why is she riding a horse with you?"

Yongqi explains to Xiaoyanzi

"She had nowhere to go so I took her in temporarily. As for riding the same horse with her, it was because her shoes were difficult to walk in."

Xiaoyanzi is still not satisfied

"Then you could just let her ride in the carriage? You are just not firm."

Yongqi couldn't help but refute

"Can you please stop being unreasonable? Cailian, I just felt sorry for her and wanted to help her. Can you please stop making trouble out of nothing?"

Xiaoyanzi was furious when she heard this.

"Okay, since you think I'm useless, then go find her." He turned and left.

Ziwei and Erkang just came over and saw this scene and sighed.

"You go and persuade Yongqi, and I will go and coax Xiaoyanzi."

Erkang nodded and walked towards Yongqi, while Ziwei went to find Xiaoyanzi.

As for Hanxiang, Qianlong just pulled Hanxiang into the room and hugged her from behind. Hanxiang was stunned and held the back of his hand.

“My mother had a difficult labor and passed away not long after I was born.

I heard from the servants that my father locked himself in the room and didn't eat or drink for a whole day and night.

From then on, he focused on teaching me to numb myself, but I was too tired and there were so many things to learn every day.

After we had a big fight, he wasn't so strict with me anymore. It wasn't until I was seven years old that foreigners invaded and my father sent his people to suppress the invasion, and many people died.

That was the first time I saw many people I knew fall in front of me. From then on, I studied very hard, and then I went on a diplomatic mission to various tribes at the age of ten.

It took five years to bring the tribe together, and they became less and less talkative.”

After a pause, he continued

“The first time I met Monerdan was when I just came back from Tibet.

His father came to see my father. That year I was twelve years old and he was fourteen.

My father asked him to take me out, and I looked at him and walked out.

I thought he would leave because I was so cold to him, but he actually threw a tantrum and said I ignored him.

When I got back, my father said he would stay at my house for a while. I didn't say anything and was still as busy as before, except that there was a little tail following him.

Later, I got used to having him behind me, and he was always the first one I saw every time I came back from outside.

What he and I like most is playing on the prairie. I attract butterflies and he drives them all away."

Qianlong listened quietly without saying anything, but held her hand tighter.

Hanxiang continued

"After my father found out about the affair between him and me, he drove him away. It just so happened that General Zhao Wei came to visit the Uyghurs on your orders.

My father and I knew that you were afraid of us, so I started to hide my abilities until my father sent me to Beijing.

You already know what happened last year."

Upon hearing this, Qianlong asked the doubts in his heart

"Since you two love each other, why do you come to the capital?"

Hanxiang explained in a low voice

“Because there are spies among the Uyghurs, my father is afraid that they will do something bad to me, so he wants me to find a prince consort in the capital.

Another reason is that my father looked down on Monerdan and said that he approached me on purpose and wanted me to cut off contact with him."

I feel a little depressed.

Qianlong turned her around and asked her to look at him

“I don’t regret sending General Zhao Wei over because I can get to know you.

The first time I saw his letter, I became curious about you. The first time I saw you at the palace gate, I thought you were mysterious.

At the palace banquet, you were both noble and indifferent, as if nothing could cause a ripple in your eyes. I fell irresistibly in love with you.

When Ali said he wanted me to protect you, I was extremely happy, even happier than when I got the throne, and I issued an edict the next day to grant amnesty to the entire nation."

Upon hearing this, Hanxiang suddenly looked up at him, then lowered her head again, feeling a little moved.

I could only reach out and hug him, burying myself in his arms.

Looking at her well-behaved appearance, Qianlong couldn't help but kiss her forehead to comfort her.

Compared with the tenderness between Hanxiang and Qianlong, Xiaoyanzi was furious when she returned to the room.

"Ziwei, what do you think Yongqi means? If you think I'm being unreasonable, then don't bother me. I didn't ask him to like me."

Ziwei said to Xiaoyanzi

"Hanxiang has told you clearly not to be angry with Yongqi, but you just can't remember."

Xiaoyanzi looked at Ziwei

"Listen to what he said. He just looks down on me. I have decided to break up with him. Having Hanxiang is enough for me."

Ziwei sighed when she heard that and looked at her, not knowing what to say.

Erkang is also trying to persuade Yongqi

"How can you say that about Xiaoyanzi? Isn't that pushing her away?"

Yongqi's face darkened when he heard this.

"Listen to what Xiaoyanzi asked, she just doesn't believe me."

Erkang looked at Yongqi

"It means that she cares about you. She is jealous and you don't coax her but instead talk about her. Think about it carefully."

I went to see Ziwei myself.

Ziwei said to Erkang

"Xiaoyanzi was very angry today. She said she wanted to break up with Yongqi. What do you think we should do?"

Erkang walked slowly holding Ziwei's hand

"Let them deal with their own problems. It's not our job to interfere. Just relax."

Ziwei nodded in agreement.

When it was time for dinner, Qianlong saw that everyone had come but didn't see Xiaoyanzi, so he asked Ziwei, and Ziwei said

"She's in the room."

Hanxiang was thoughtful when she heard this and said to Qianlong

"She must be in a bad mood. I'll go see her."

Walk towards Xiaoyanzi's room.

When Qianlong saw this, he put down his chopsticks and waited for her.

Hanxiang walked into the room and saw Xiaoyanzi and said

"Whose girl is sulking? She doesn't even want to eat. What if she's starving?"

Xiaoyanzi saw Hanxiang approaching and hugging her

"Why are you here?"

Hanxiang answered

"When I heard Ziwei say you were in the room, I knew you must have had a quarrel with Yongqi, so I came to see you."

Pull her out of the room,

"Don't be hard on yourself no matter who you are. Only when you have a full meal will you have the energy to argue."

When we got to the hall and saw that Qianlong hadn't touched his chopsticks, he asked

"Why don't you eat, sir?"

Qianlong asked her to sit next to him

"I'll wait for you, I won't have any appetite if you don't come."

Hanxiang sat down beside him and served him food, and Xiaoyanzi sat next to her.

Take good care of Qianlong. Hanxiang saw that Xiaoyanzi didn't eat much and gave her some more food. Qianlong saw that she didn't eat much and said to her

"Don't always care about others. You haven't eaten yet."

Then he picked up the chopsticks and fed her.

Hanxiang was too embarrassed to avoid his hand feeding her.

"Master, I can do it myself."

Qianlong didn't answer and just held it there. Hanxiang could only eat it and said with a red face, "Not bad."

Upon hearing this, Qianlong picked up some more for her.

Yongqi saw that Xiaoyanzi didn't eat much, so he picked up a chicken leg and gave it to her. Xiaoyanzi put the chicken leg back on the plate without even looking at it.

Yongqi saw that Xiaoyanzi didn't appreciate it and asked Ertai

"Has Cai Lian eaten?"

Ertai was confused when he heard this: "No."

Yongqi looked at Xiaoyanzi fiercely and said

"I'll send it to her."

He stood up, picked up a lot of dishes and walked away with the bowl.

Seeing Yongqi bringing food to Cailian, Xiaoyanzi said angrily:

"Master, I'm full, I'll go down first."

Ziwei saw Xiaoyanzi's expression and said to Qianlong

"I'll go see her."

He also got up and chased Xiaoyanzi.

Hanxiang looked at them and sighed, not knowing how long they would be angry.

Qianlong ignored them and asked Hanxiang after she put down her chopsticks.

“But are you full?”

Hanxiang pouted at Qianlong when she heard this.

"I can't eat anymore. I'll feel full if I eat any more."

Qianlong smiled, touched her belly, and took her to digest the food.
