Master is too ambitious

Chapter 7: Become a Jindan Apprentice

It was three months after Ji Qian broke through to the Qi Induction Stage when he was able to skillfully control his soul to pass through his body and gather his spiritual energy.

"Ding, ding, ding! Congratulations to the host for breaking through the Qi Induction Stage!" The system turned into a little bird and chirped flatteringly on Ji Qian's shoulder.

"Thank you." Ji Qian touched it, then stood up and walked out of the Fire Dragon Cave.

It was a sunny day outside, the sun was shining, the sky was blue, and the air was filled with the sweet fragrance of grass and trees. It was truly a rare good day.

The system reminded: "Host, please go to the Shiwu Hall to handle the formalities first, and then report to the inner gate."

Ji Qian didn't think of this matter, so he went to his cave to pack up first, and then went to the Shiwu Hall to handle the formalities.

The Shiwu Hall was still the same as before, with disciples coming and going. Occasionally, you would run into friends you knew, but they would just chat for a few minutes before going their separate ways.

There were not many people at the counter for canceling the outer sect disciple status, and soon it was Ji Qian's turn. Ji Qian handed over the jade slip and explained the situation, saying, "I broke through the Qi Induction Stage a few months ago, so I came here to handle the formalities."

The deacon was about to scold Ji Qian when he saw that he was going through the cancellation procedures at such a young age, but after hearing that he came to do so because he had entered the Qi Induction Stage, he smiled and said, "So it's you. You've finally come to do the procedures!"

"Congratulations!" He quickly went through the formalities and said, "The inner sect has come to ask about you several times, but you have been practicing in seclusion and have never come out, so no one knows who you are. Now you are finally here." He also reminded her, "It is not easy to break through the Qi Induction Stage in seven years. Don't be arrogant because of this in your future practice!"

Ji Qian nodded and said, "Disciple understands."

After the steward completed the formalities, he handed him the jade slip and said, "Wait here for a while. The inner gate will come to pick you up soon. You should also come to the outer gate to have a look later."

Ji Qian took the jade slip and said, "Disciple understands."

Just as the deacon said, the deacons from the inner gate arrived very quickly.

Three inner sect deacons came, all wearing the black and red school uniforms that symbolize the inner sect deacons, with a sword on their backs. They looked very solemn from a distance, but they couldn't hide the smiles on their faces. When they saw Ji Qian, they bowed and asked, "May I ask your name, junior brother?"

Ji Qian returned the greeting and said, "Ji Qian."

"Congratulations, Junior Brother Jiqian, for entering the Qi Induction Stage!" The deacons said with a smile, "Come with us to the inner gate now!"

The Qi-Nourishing disciples in the Shiwu Hall were originally wondering what the inner sect deacons were here for, but when they saw them surrounding Ji Qian and calling him "Junior Brother", they all understood that the first person in this session to break through the Qi-Inducing stage was Ji Qian!

For a while, the sound of congratulations could be heard constantly in the Shiwu Hall. Some people who were friends with Ji Qian came forward and surrounded him. Seeing that he had broken through the Qi Induction Stage and was about to enter the inner sect, they were happy for him, but also felt melancholy, not knowing when they would be able to break through.

Ji Qian followed the inner sect steward to the outside of the Shiwu Hall. The stewards and Qi-nourishing disciples in the Shiwu Hall also escorted them to the door. Ji Qian looked at them and couldn't help but think of the care he had received here over the past seven years. He bowed solemnly and said, "Thank you very much!"

Because Ji Qian didn't know how to fly with a sword, the inner gate steward set up a small boat and flew towards the inner gate.

Only after passing through the outer gate formation can one truly enter the Luofu Immortal Sword Sect.

Ji Qian's horizons suddenly broadened.

The mountains, big and small, are all in the clouds, arranged in an orderly manner, and the waterfalls and springs are like pearls inlaid in the mountains. The clouds are gone and the rain has stopped, and the sky is bright. The palaces in the mountains have winding corridors and high eaves, each of which embraces the terrain and competes with each other. Occasionally, there are cranes singing among them. It is truly a fairyland.

Ji Qian was shocked by the indescribable magnificent scenery. The deacons did not say a word, but just set up the boat and took him to fly steadily in the sect to enjoy the scenery, and finally landed steadily on the Deacon Peak.

The leading deacon was named Chen Su. He collected the flying boat and said with a smile, "The scenery of the sect is very beautiful, and it changes with the seasons. It is summer here, and everything is gorgeous."

Ji Qian nodded and said, "So that's it." He originally thought that the scenery of the sect might be the same all year round, and he might not be surprised after seeing it so many times. He didn't expect that it would change with the seasons. It was really unexpected.

Entering the Steward's Hall, it was not crowded like the outer sect, but rather deserted. Chen Su explained that most of the inner sect disciples or high-level disciples were traveling outside, and not many stayed in the sect. Even in the sect, they were all practicing in their own caves. Then he led Ji Qian to handle the inner sect formalities, accompanied him to choose a cave, and took him through the routine and familiarized him with the formalities. He was very responsible.

Chen Su asked, "Brother, do you want to go and see the inner sect disciples' study dojo?" He then explained, "The dojo usually doesn't have many people. Most of the inner sect disciples practice on their own to accept sect missions, or worship their master and practice with the master. The dojo is the most deserted."

Ji Qian didn't have a disciple at the moment. Normally, he would go to the dojo or take on sect missions to practice. However, he had just entered the Qi Induction Stage, so naturally he practiced in the dojo. So he said, "Please lead the way, Senior Brother."

Chen Su just smiled and said, "It's okay."

Chen Su took out the boat and prepared to take Ji Qian to the dojo. At this time, a beautiful woman dressed in palace clothes walked in gracefully. The deacons saluted one after another. The woman nodded in return and asked, "Did Chen Su take the person in?"

Chen Su brought Ji Qian to the woman, bowed and said, "Master Jiang, you are here really quickly." He then introduced, "This is Master Ji Qian, who entered the Qi Induction Stage in the seventh year."

When Ji Qian heard Chen Su calling the woman "Master Uncle", he couldn't help but take a second look at the woman. The woman was extremely beautiful, wearing a red palace dress, with a variety of manners, quite like the ladies in Tang Dynasty paintings. He saluted, thought for a moment, and followed Chen Su in calling her "Master Uncle".

When the woman heard him call her "Uncle Master", she snorted and said with a smile, "You can't call me Uncle Master. It's giving my fellow brothers and sisters a free hand. You have to call me Master!"

Ah this!? Ji Qian was surprised when he heard this and couldn't help but look at the woman. Is this person going to take him as a disciple?! But he doesn't understand anything at all?!

The system said in Ji Qian's mind: "Host, please worship her!"

Ji Qian replied: "What's the matter?"

Before the system could reply, Jiang Qingyue laughed, full of pride, and said, "It's not shameful to be my disciple. I, Jiang Qingyue, drew in Qi at the age of sixteen, entered the spirit at the age of twenty, and now I have perfected the top-grade golden elixir. I am worthy of being your master!"

Ji Qian was stunned, he was no longer the ignorant young man who knew nothing. Jiang Qingyue's promotion speed, even in ancient times, was considered a genius. Now, he deserved to be called a peerless genius!

Jiang Qingyue looked at Ji Qian with admiration, nodded inwardly, and was very satisfied. She asked solemnly: "Ji Qian, are you willing to become my disciple, Jiang Qingyue of Youguan?"

Ji Qian bowed and said, "Disciple Ji Qian wishes to be your disciple!"

The deacons in the Deacon Hall all congratulated, "Congratulations to Master Jiang for having a disciple!"

Jiang Qingyue was very satisfied. As a genius, she must find a genius apprentice! Most of the previous disciples took more than ten years to enter the Qi Induction Stage. They were too mediocre and none of them suited her taste. Now that she finally had a disciple who took seven years to enter the Qi Induction Stage, she had to strike first. Moreover, Ji Qian had already expressed his willingness to worship her as his master. She decisively waved her sleeves, rolled Ji Qian into her sleeves, and turned into a wisp of breeze, flying towards her own secluded pavilion.

As soon as Jiang Qingyue left, a young man dressed as a scholar flew into the Deacon Hall and asked anxiously, "Where are the people? Where are the people? Have they arrived?"

Chen Su bowed and replied, "In reply to Uncle Fang, Uncle Jiang has just taken Junior Brother Jiqian away."

"What!?" Fang Zhiyi was speechless. Why did she take him away so soon? Huh? Didn't she agree to give him the person if he lost the bet? Didn't she break her promise?

"You are such a jerk, Jiang Qingyue!" Fang Zhiyi's angry roar echoed in the sect, startling a group of cranes.

Inside the secluded hall

Ji Qian asked, "Master, why did I hear someone scolding you?"

Jiang Qingyue smiled inwardly and made a face. All's fair in war. Hehe, I got it. But on the surface, she looked very solemn and said, "You heard wrong."
