【Law of the Abyss】
Chapter 116 It’s too late
"Meng Chu." The young man smiled brightly, "This key was left to me by my grandfather."
As soon as the words fell, everyone was shocked. They all asked in unison: "Is Meng Zhengran your grandfather?"
"Yes, he is my grandfather." Meng Chu looked at Lin Feng, and Lin Feng nodded at him.
"The abyss must be reopened." Meng Chu had walked up at some point and stood in front of everyone.
"Nonsense, even if Meng Zhengran is your grandfather, do you know what your grandfather paid to seal the abyss? It's a joke that you want to open it."
"I know, this is what grandpa meant."
"What did you say?"
Meng Chu repeated again, word for word: "This is what Grandpa meant."
"impossible."
Meng Chu smiled slightly and handed the key to everyone calmly, "Look."
A line of small words appeared on the key: Restart the Abyss.
Everyone was silent.
After a while, someone said, "It's ridiculous to reopen the abyss with just this line of incomprehensible words!"
Everyone came to their senses and agreed: "Yes, this is really ridiculous. Besides, we don't know whether this thing is true or not."
"That's right. I don't know where it came from."
Meng Chu smiled. He knew this would happen. He looked at Lin Feng again and the man nodded.
He smiled, looked at everyone and said, "Whether it is true or not, we will know after trying it."
Everyone's faces changed drastically: "Ridiculous, how can we allow an ignorant child like you to act so recklessly here? Get out now."
Lin Feng stood up calmly and said coldly, "It's too late."
As soon as he finished speaking, he waved his hand and a black door appeared in the air. The moment the door appeared, everything around him became quiet, everything became still, even the air stopped flowing.
Mu Bei's heart skipped a beat and he felt a sense of familiarity. He glanced at Lin Feng, and the man was as calm as usual.
"I've been here before, do you remember?" he asked.
He had walked through this door several times, and the man was always waiting for him behind it, and he remembered it.
Lin Feng nodded, and the two of them stood in front of the door at the same time. Meng Chu took out the key, inserted it into the keyhole, and heard a click. The door actually pounced towards him little by little like a black net.
"Go." He turned around and saw the man looking at him from behind. He was a little dazed, and before he could react, he was sucked in by a huge force. With him was the young man from before, Meng Chu.
Meng Chu took his hand and led him forward.
To his surprise, this place was different from what he had imagined. He thought the Abyss was a terrifying place full of dangers. Unexpectedly, this place was no different from other critical places he had been to, except for one thing: no one was there. It was too quiet.
Meng Chu looked as if he was facing a formidable enemy from beginning to end, and Mu Bei began to get nervous as well.
"Have you heard of this place?" Meng Chu asked.
Mu Bei nodded.
"Do you know anything about it?"
"not sure."
"Then why are you here?"
"I..." Mu Bei was stunned by the question. He thought of the previous voice, the voice in his mind.
"I'll find the answer." Mu Bei said subconsciously. As soon as he finished speaking, he came to his senses and found something wrong. He didn't want to speak just now, so how could he say those words uncontrollably?
"What's wrong?" Meng Chu saw that his face looked a little ugly and asked with concern.
"It's okay." Mu Bei shook his head and looked at Meng Chu: "Why did you come here?"
"I..." Meng Chu paused, looked at him, and said softly: "I'm here to find grandpa."
"But, your grandfather..." Isn't he dead?
Meng Chu's eyes darkened.
"No, Grandpa is not dead. I know that. He just disappeared. I want to find him. He is here. I know that he must be here."
Meng Chu looked excited, which reminded Mu Bei of his deceased parents.
People often find it difficult to accept the departure of someone who loves them. They always want to hold on to happiness forever, but the more they want to hold on to something, the harder it is to hold on to it.
Meng Chu stopped. There was a fork in the road ahead. He stood in the middle of the intersection facing Mu Beidao.
"Let's say goodbye here. I'm going to find grandpa."
"Hey, wait..." Before he could finish his words, Meng Chu disappeared.
He stopped where he was, alone, as if he was the only one in the world. Just when he didn't know what to do, a sweet voice came from behind him.
"Why are you walking so fast?"
When Mu Bei turned around, he saw a fiery figure approaching.
"Su Lin, why are you here?"
Mu Bei walked quickly forward and hugged her, and she rarely pushed him away.
"Okay, sister felt sorry for you and came here to accompany you. Don't tell me that you were crying just now, right?"
Mu Bei let go of her embarrassedly. He was a little depressed just now, but he really wasn't crying.
The two chatted for a while and continued walking forward. Su Lin seemed to be very familiar with this place. After a while, she brought Mu Bei to a place.
There was a calm expanse of water with no end in sight.
"We have to go through here."
Mu Bei was frightened when he took a look. The area was really too large, like a colorless sea, pitch black. It took a lot of courage to just take a look at it.
Upon closer inspection, there is a faint light floating on the water.
"This is?"
"Colorless Sea."
The colorless sea is not a sea, it is a collection of countless colorless particles.
"You have to break through here to get out."
Su Lin looked at him with a serious expression.
"How to break through?"
"You have to experience it yourself, do your best to understand it, become it, and overcome it."
When she said this, Su Lin seemed like a different person, and the expression on her face was hard to read.
"Su Lin, you..."
Mu Bei looked at Su Lin in surprise as she fell into the colorless sea. Her body turned into a red snake and disappeared into it.
"Su Lin!" Mu Bei shouted. He wanted to catch her, but he could catch nothing.
"Go through it and we'll see each other."
Mu Bei jumped into the colorless sea without thinking.
He heard the sound of the wind, coming from all directions and drowning him.
He saw a red snake lurking not far from him.
It was Su Lin. He followed behind the red snake. It was always at a distance from him, swaying in front of his eyes, but he could never reach it.
Suddenly, he felt a wave in the water.
what is that?
He saw a black figure approaching him quickly. It was a monster. A monster he had never seen before.
Its body is as big as a mountain, but it has a pair of curved horns on its head, its body is covered with scales, and it has a pair of wings on its back. Its tail is round and short, swaying from side to side constantly, making a loud noise, and the ripples it stirs up circle after circle, spreading in all directions...
