This farce lasted until dark. But I didn't even get out of the door. I was such a failure as a bystander.

Nothing happened that night. The next morning, as soon as I walked out of the room, I met the old man. I keenly noticed that the first thing he did was to check the scimitar in my hand.

I have always had a question in my mind: were the people who killed Yi Yunxiao also looking for this scimitar, or were they looking for the treasure in the cave? But I didn't use a knife when I went in. Why does this person always want to see my scimitar?

Fortunately, the one I use now was bought when I came to Liehuo City. I took a detour to a blacksmith shop called Jianlu. Not far from the cold pond, there is a small forest with tall and lush trees. A small courtyard can be vaguely seen here. We got closer and saw the courtyard clearly. A blacksmith's furnace stood behind the courtyard. Not far from the furnace was the cold pond, connected by a stone road that passed through the woods. It gave people the feeling of a forest path, although it was only a dozen meters away.

I nodded and said, "Yes, I want to buy a machete."

"Wait a moment," the boy said and ran into the house.

After a while, he came out holding a piece of wood. He walked to the middle of the yard and put it down. On the board was a picture of a sword furnace and two people, one was forging iron, and the other was walking back and forth between the cold pond and the sword furnace.

The drawing is quite vivid, but not as good as on paper.

I asked curiously, "The painting above is very vivid. Who painted it?"

The young man said proudly, "Me."
