Harry Potter: Reunion with the Enemy

Chapter 108 Broken Glass and Love Potion (Part )

"Wine, champagne, sherry..." Draco pulled out a bottle, uncorked it, and poured the brown liquid into the glass, "Old-fashioned port wine."

"So sweet." Harry took Draco's cup and took a sip. It seemed that the taste of the wine was far beyond his expectations.

Draco snatched the wine glass from Harry's hand, "Muggles said it has the aroma of dark fruits and chocolate, but considering your glorious history of drinking it last time, it's best not to try it again."

"Last time was an accident." Harry argued vaguely, and stuffed the wine glass back into Draco's hand somewhat unconvinced.

"I'm afraid if you drink any more you'll say goodnight early. Not today. Mrs. Malfoy has a tough job," Draco teased softly.

The dance floor was gradually becoming lively. Draco and Harry took the wine bottles and glasses and slipped out of the crowd along a secret route. Draco noticed the tall figure out of the corner of his eye. He was secretly thinking about how to act normal and let Andre, who was currently chatting with other middle-aged men, take the glass from him.

The many rooms in the Foreign Minister's mansion also have a prominent advantage. At the dinner, all the servants and security guards were arranged at the gate and the main hall, and no one was watching the other rooms. Draco and Harry entered one of them and took out the potion box that was stuffed into the handbag with the traceless extension spell, preparing to put the truth serum into the wine glass first. Most of the potions that Draco had prepared before were not used. Except for the sleeping potion that Harry occasionally drank when he had nightmares, the Felixir potion that was almost consumed, and the healing potion after being attacked by a dragon, the other bottle stoppers had never been opened.

"Just three drops will make him reveal all his secrets." Draco placed the wine glass on the small walnut round table in the room, and opened the bottle of truth serum with a serious expression and held his breath.

The clear liquid quickly dripped into the wine glass and blended with the brown wine.

"So our biggest difficulty is to get him to drink it." Harry picked up the glass. "He hasn't met Mrs. Malfoy yet - nor has he met Harry Potter himself on the island. If I give him the wine, will he be suspicious of me?"

"Don't drink drinks handed to you by strangers. Even children know this." A third person's voice came from the door. "You didn't even want to listen to me finish playing the violin - and you were secretly plotting something bad without telling me."

The next second, Harry felt himself being hugged.

"Brother Harry." Alex rushed in with a big smile on his face. "You have a good disguise - and you look good in a skirt. Without you tutoring me, my life would be as hard as hell."

"There will be a letter from Hogwarts soon. Summer is coming, and important things always happen in summer." Draco comforted, "But why did you hug him and not me? Doesn't Mr. Malfoy deserve a hug?"

"Who just laughed at me for being a little kid?" Alex turned his head and hugged Malfoy, who opened his arms. "I kept your secrets very well, don't worry, although I did need to adapt after their memories were tampered with. So what are these on the table?"

"We have some questions for Andre." Draco lowered his eyes. "These questions are related to the last time your brother Harry disappeared and almost didn't come back. I think he knows about some conspiracy of the goblins."

"So there's a potion in there that can make him talk? I saw part of it when I was flipping through a magic textbook." Alex turned his eyes to Draco's potion box. "I know this - a healing potion."

"You're right. I notice that you're still very enthusiastic about wizard studies." Draco nodded. "Keep up this enthusiasm for learning. Maybe you can become the second Hermione Granger after you start school at Hogwarts." As he spoke, he imitated Hermione's eagerness to raise her hand to answer the question.

"Who is she?" Alex was still identifying the other bottles in the medicine box, turning them out and shaking them from time to time, examining the various wonderful colors.

"Your future teacher, a smart and hardworking witch," Harry replied.

"I'm going to find Andre first." Draco raised the wine glass with truth serum and said to the two of them, "I don't expect it to be so smooth. After that, we can go find goblin products together. If it goes well, Harry, you can go dancing with me."

Alex watched Draco's back without moving. It was obvious that he was not interested in the dance party or the adults toasting and exchanging polite words on the other side.

"The last time he treated me like that, I thought he would never remember you again." Alex felt a lump in his throat as he recalled the last lesson.

"What did he do to you?" Harry lowered his head in confusion.

Alex remembered that Harry was changing upstairs last time and didn't know about this, so he decided to change the subject again "Nothing, what is this bottle?"

"Felix Felicis. It brings good luck." Harry did not reveal that they had used this potion during the squash match.

"what about this?"

"Polyjuice Potion. This potion can help you change into someone else's appearance."

"Wow, this color is so special." Alex held up a bottle of potion with a mother-of-pearl luster.

Harry was stunned for a moment. "This is a potion that can create strong obsession and infatuation, but it cannot give rise to true love. It will cause some crazy actions under its drive, and its effect is not long-lasting."

Harry picked up the love potion. There was no sign that the bottle had been opened and it was still full.

"It smells different from person to person, you'll smell what you like." Harry uncorked the bottle, and sure enough, what he smelled was the same smell that Draco had after taking a bath.

"It smells like my favorite Italian soup." Alex sniffed it with satisfaction. "So what's going to happen?"

"Desperate obsession - even though it's an illusion." Harry still remembered Ron's unusual behavior. "Crazy pursuit, that kind of thing."

"Really - can I feed a few drops to the ducks and swans in the manor lake so that they will chase Mr. Malfoy all over the place?" Alex took out an empty wine glass and poured a few drops of love potion and old-fashioned port wine into it. "Of course, I will definitely wait until your mission tonight is completed before implementing this evil plan."

"Why do you suddenly think of this?" Harry looked at Alex in surprise. "This potion should never be given to others - it can be said that this potion indirectly led to the birth of Voldemort because it will not lead to true love."

"I just wanted to play a prank on the duck - you know, Mr. Malfoy is cute most of the time, but the rest of the time he's so naughty that you want to bite him. I think if I can see him being chased around by a big duck tonight, all my grudges with him will be wiped out." Alex raised his glass and shook it, and the last spiral of steam from the aphrodisiac disappeared into the air.
