Harry Potter: Reunion with the Enemy

Chapter 101 Emotional Fraudster

Draco Malfoy, a young master who has been surrounded by his parents' love since childhood and has more than 20 years of experience in being spoiled, always takes the love he gets for granted. Therefore, he has no psychological burden about asking for attention, love, obedience, material and spiritual support from others.

Just as crying children always get candy, people who act like spoiled brats always have the best luck, and love always flows to those who have enough love. At this moment, the benevolent savior Harry Potter, the gentle and kind friend Lancelot, and Ed who just got off the bed gathered in a corner of the studio, working together to fulfill Draco's wish to take wedding photos.

Being able to make the whole world revolve around you is a personality trait, and being able to make others willingly and enjoy it is also a kind of personal charm.

People are always looking for positive feedback. When you hand a crying child a lollipop and he happily takes it and gives you a bright smile, you will feel that you have done the right thing. When most people are too shy to ask for their own requests, Draco's justified requests make people want to satisfy him involuntarily.

"I am the happiest man in the world right now." Draco looked at the newly customized clothes for the photo shoot with a smile on his face. He quickly kissed Harry on the cheek, then rubbed Harry's neck, "Touch my heartbeat, I'm so happy."

Harry straightened his glasses that were rubbed crooked by Draco, and blushed as he avoided Lancelot and Ed's quickly shifting gazes. "Well - it will be great. Let's see if there are any more places on the clothes that need to be adjusted."

Unlike Draco, Harry spends most of his time submitting and bearing his pain alone. He will not easily resist the wishes of others until it is beyond his tolerance. Only rarely does he really think about himself.

So there was one more person in the world who doted on Draco. Harry could feel the warmth of happiness as he hugged Draco.

"Your heart is beating fast, too." Draco refused to let go, his hand groping on Harry's back. "Soon there will be more evidence that we are meant to be together."

The titular studio is actually Ed's residence.

Most of the space on the flat was cleared out and put in the studio, dressing table, interview room, tailoring and photography tools, desks, cabinets for storing materials, various shorthand pens and papers. The remaining rooms are the kitchen, bedroom and guest room.

Several newly brought in sets of clothes were placed next to the shooting props cabinet.

"Why does this place look so much like an office? Can the Daily Prophet be published from home?" Harry asked curiously.

"No." Ed replied. "Usually, this place is only used when we can't keep up with the deadline and need to work overtime. But unfortunately, the utilization rate here is still quite high, because they think it's not good for others to see the lights on in the Daily Prophet building in the middle of the night, so they can only send us back home with the lights on."

"I will not want to go home if I enter working mode within a second after waking up every day." Draco approached the various bulky photographic equipment and observed them with some curiosity.

Lancelot leaned against the cabinet and drank water silently. He had placed the workbench next to the bed in his rental house, so he didn't feel anything strange about this living space arrangement. "Why is there no chair here?" After a while, he finally asked a question. The height of the table here was just right for standing and using.

"You sit enough during the day. You'll get fat if you sit for too long," Ed replied briefly.

"Is it necessary? What's your relationship with being fat?" Lancelot's gaze stayed on Ed's waist for a few seconds, and a question mark seemed to slowly rise above his head. As he spoke, he used his magic wand to conjure up four chairs and immediately sat down.

"Do you want to recall what you said?" Ed shot back.

"I told you to stay away from me," Lancelot answered without hesitation. "You are quite likable when you are not asking questions aggressively. You look much cuter when you are a cat that can't speak human language."

"Because wedding photography is an inherently flattering job, with clean hands and a clear conscience, and you get to witness other people's happy moments. But I don't get that privilege most of the time in my job." Ed walked towards the kitchen, where the raspberry shortbread jam cake mentioned in the ward was already ready.

Aggressive - this comment made Ed feel bitter. But this is a way to protect himself and others. Journalists are passers-by in the lives of others, always trying their best to make others open their hearts to them, let them hand over a story, and then leave in a hurry and never see each other again.

When he first started doing this job, Ed would try to approach the interviewees in a more tactful way, using his friendly appearance, strong empathy and professionalism to make them think that he could empathize with their lives.

It is always better to make your purpose and intention unclear. But the consequence is -

You just want a self-confession from the interviewee to be included in an article as a task, but they treat you as their confidant.

You just want to record the true state of suffering, but they regard you as a life-saving straw, hoping that your appearance can change their lives.

We are just passers-by who will only meet once in our lifetime, but we are regarded as lifelong friends.

Because of the deep feelings of the strangers, Ed will choose to support strangers who have only met once out of empathy, but there will be thousands of times in the future when he needs to play the role of a passerby. This will only make himself overwhelmed, and it will also hurt those who give their sincerity.

Ed's transformation came from a letter he received one day. The letter was from an old lady. In the letter, she described in densely packed words how her mood had changed after the interview, and expressed her gratitude to Ed, the enthusiastic young man. She also promised that after her incurable disease took her life, all her inheritance would be given to him.

Ed only felt guilty and terrified because he couldn't even remember who she was. She was remembered by others for a long time, but he couldn't even remember her face.

Maybe a year or two ago, I interviewed this old lady in a cafe for a few hours and then completed an article a few inches long. There are so many lonely people in the world who will regard the people who are pushed in front of them as unique.

Therefore, it is better to show your purpose more obviously when playing the role of a passerby, because your ever-changing life simply cannot accommodate so many emotional ties.

If you fail to keep a distance from others, they will be the ones who get hurt.

"Eating these will make you fatter much more easily than sitting for a long time. You are such a contradictory person." Lancelot sneered carelessly and put the cake into his mouth in one bite.

Ed leaned close to his ear and said, "Lancelot is the name you gave yourself, right? Is there any deep meaning? I feel that this is not a traditional Egyptian name? Why?"

Lancelot looked up at Ed speechlessly, "For the sake of our cooperation on the wedding photos - stay away from me."

"Okay." Ed smiled and walked towards Harry and Draco.

If you cannot be a pure friend with a pure purpose, it is better to put professional identity before personal feelings, so that you will be less sad when you part or never see each other again.

You see, this person is an emotional scammer who just wants to complete his editing tasks. Please sound the alarm at all times.
