Traveling through the Tang Dynasty: The Concubine Goes to War

Chapter 27 Ayiduo wants to frame Yunxi out of jealousy

Last time, we talked about how the eldest prince secretly negotiated with the Turkic king and arranged a test for Yunxi without telling her. However, surprisingly, Yunxi successfully passed this severe test.

When the Turkic king announced their marriage in public, Yunxi was caught off guard by the sudden news and was overwhelmed with fear and anxiety. She had never expected such a thing to happen, and her originally peaceful life was disrupted in an instant.

At the same time, Ayiduo also learned the news. She had always secretly admired the eldest prince, but she didn't expect that he was about to marry another woman. This reality made Ayiduo sad and angry, and heartbroken. She couldn't accept such an ending, as if the whole world was collapsing in an instant.

Yunxi's face was pale and her body was trembling slightly. She tried to sort out her thoughts, but the fear and confusion in her heart made it impossible for her to concentrate. At this moment, the eldest prince walked into the tent. Seeing Yunxi's panic, he couldn't help but feel a little guilty.

He walked to Yunxi, gently held her hand, and tried to comfort her. Yunxi raised her head, her eyes full of questions and pain, "What is going on? Why did the king suddenly announce that we should get married?" The eldest prince took a deep breath and decided to confess everything to Yunxi, "Yunxi, this is the agreement between me and my father, and you passed the test. You know, I have always admired you very much!" After hearing this, Yunxi's mood calmed down a little. But she still felt confused and uneasy. "But I don't want to be a prince consort..." The eldest prince smiled slightly, "I know you need time to adapt. Give me a chance to prove my sincerity." After that, he gently hugged Yunxi in his arms, feeling her warmth.

On the other side, Ayiduo stood on the vast grassland, holding the whip tightly in her hand, and whipped the grass with all her strength. Every time she whipped, she seemed to release all the pain and unwillingness in her heart. Her eyes revealed endless sadness and anger, and tears rolled in her eyes, but she tried hard not to let them fall.

The breeze on the grassland gently brushed her face, but she could not feel the slightest bit of coolness or comfort. She just mechanically repeated the action of whipping, as if only in this way could she vent her inner emotions. The originally green grass became messy under her whipping, as if it was silently enduring her pain.

Ayiduo's figure seemed so small and lonely on the grassland, her shouts echoed in the empty wilderness, but no one could hear her. She knew that she had to face it all, whether it was joy or sadness, she had to bear and resolve it by herself.

Ayiduo stood there, her eyes revealing a hint of ferocity and anger. She gritted her teeth and said, "Yang Yunxi, you hateful Han woman!" Her voice was full of hatred and contempt. It was as if Yang Yunxi was her mortal enemy, and she was determined to make Yang Yunxi pay the price. She clenched her fists tightly, as if she had already thought about how to deal with Yang Yunxi, and implemented her plan without mercy. Ayiduo's expression was hideous and distorted, and people couldn't help but feel a chill.

Aida returned to the tent and immediately summoned her trusted subordinates to plot a plan to deal with Yunxi.

Aiduo looked at everyone with a stern gaze and said, "We must not let that Han woman succeed so easily!"

Her voice was cold and firm, revealing an unshakable determination.

The subordinates echoed one after another: "Princess Ayiduo is wise. We are willing to follow her until death and make sure that Han woman learns a lesson!"

Ayiduo nodded with satisfaction and continued, "I have a plan... As long as everyone works together, we will succeed!"

After hearing this, everyone rubbed their hands and expressed their willingness to follow Aida's arrangements.

Not long after, Yunxi encountered a series of strange things in the camp.

That day, Yunxi took Xiaowan out for a walk, and when they turned back halfway, they found that a strange Turkic servant had secretly sprinkled a packet of powdery substance on their food. They remained calm and retreated back to the tent. After the man left, they gave the food to the sheep outside. Not long after eating, the sheep fell down, vomited blood, and died.

Yunxi and the others were very frightened and became even more cautious.

Afterwards, the tent became tattered, as if it had suffered a fierce battle. The originally strong and durable fabric was now full of tears and damage, and the tent's support was bent and deformed, unable to support its original shape. The entire tent looked like it had been ravaged by a ferocious beast, and it was unrecognizable. What was worse was that in this mess, she found some mysterious threatening letters. These letters were scattered around the tent, and the handwriting on them was twisted and hideous, revealing a creepy atmosphere. Each letter was like a curse hidden with deep malice, which made her shudder.

Yunxi's heart was filled with fear and confusion. She really couldn't figure out who was against her in the dark.

The eldest prince was shocked and angry when he learned about these things. He knew that Yunxi was in danger at the moment, so he made a prompt decision to strengthen the protection of Yunxi and sent someone to secretly investigate the mastermind behind all this.

At the same time, the eldest prince began to pay attention to Aida's every move...

One day, Yunxi was walking by the river when she was attacked by several men in black. She fought back but was outnumbered. At the critical moment, the eldest prince appeared in time and saved Yunxi.

"Who on earth dares to hurt my fiancée?" The eldest prince was furious.

"Your Highness, it was Princess Aido who instructed us to do this. She said that she didn't want to see Yunxi become the prince's consort..." one of the men in black said tremblingly.

The eldest prince's eyes flashed with surprise. He didn't expect Ayiduo to be so extreme. He sent Yunxi back to the tent and told her not to go out in the near future, and then went to confront Ayiduo.

"Ayiduo, I didn't expect it was you! Why do you hurt Yunxi again and again?" the eldest prince questioned.

Aiduo burst into tears, "I don't want this either... I really love you, I can't just watch you marry someone else..."

The eldest prince sighed helplessly, "You can't force feelings. No matter what, it's wrong to hurt others. I hope you can realize your mistake."

Ayiduo remained silent, secretly vowing in her heart that she must make Yunxi leave the eldest prince...

The prince turned and left, leaving Ayiduo alone. Ayiduo's eyes gradually became firm, and she decided to take more drastic actions.

A few nights later, Ayiduo sneaked into Yunxi's tent. Yunxi was sleeping soundly, unaware of the danger approaching. Ayiduo raised the dagger and stabbed Yunxi.

However, just when the tip of the knife was about to touch Yunxi, a hand firmly grasped Ayiduo's wrist. The eldest prince looked at Ayiduo with anger on his face, "You still don't repent!" Ayiduo struggled to break free, but the eldest prince was too strong and she couldn't escape at all. "Take her away and lock her up! Don't let her out without my order!" The eldest prince roared. The guards quickly stepped forward and took Ayiduo away.

Yunxi was awakened, and looking at the scene in front of her, her heart was filled with gratitude and worry. "Yunxi, don't worry, I won't let her hurt you again." The eldest prince comforted. Yunxi nodded, "Thank you, Your Highness. However, if Princess Ayiduo is imprisoned like this, I am afraid it will cause dissatisfaction from the Turkic Dynasty." The eldest prince frowned and thought for a moment, "I will explain the situation to my father. As for Ayiduo, she needs to be responsible for her actions."

The next day, the eldest prince found the Turkic king and told him the truth. The Turkic king was shocked. He did not expect Ayiduo to do such a crazy thing. "Come, send Princess Ayiduo back to her tribe!" the Turkic king ordered.

After that, Yunxi's life returned to normal, and the eldest prince found that his feelings for Yunxi were growing deeper and deeper as they got along.

However, just when the eldest prince thought that his perseverance was slowly influencing Yunxi, Han Xuan appeared! He came across the sky like a flash of lightning, making the whole situation confusing.

It turned out that Han Xuan had been looking for Yunxi's whereabouts. During the long journey, he accidentally learned from passers-by that Yunxi was taken away by a group of Turks. This sudden clue was like a ray of light in the darkness, and he rushed in the direction where the Turks left without hesitation.

Han Xuan was extremely anxious. He didn't know whether Yunxi was safe now.

Every moment of waiting seemed like a year, he couldn't wait to find her and protect her. Finally, after a hard tracking and inquiries, he came to the place where the eldest prince was.

When he saw Yunxi, an indescribable wave of emotion surged in his heart, joy and worry intertwined into a complex emotional web, tightly wrapped around his heart. This strong emotion seemed to turn into a huge and mysterious force, pushing him to move forward involuntarily.

His eyes were fixed on Yunxi, his eyes flashing with excitement and concern. With a slightly hoarse voice, he whispered, "You are in Turkic, I finally found you!"

Yunxi's eyes revealed surprise and confusion. She obviously didn't expect to see him here. Her lips slightly opened, wanting to answer but seemed a little hesitant. After a moment of silence, she finally spoke: "I came to visit Turkic at the invitation of the eldest prince." Her voice revealed a firmness, but at the same time, it also concealed a subtle uneasiness.

He listened to Yunxi's explanation quietly, and his worries did not ease at all. He knew that Turkic was not a safe place, especially for a woman, it was full of dangers and unknowns. However, he also understood that Yunxi had her own reasons and purposes, so he decided to trust her and do his best to protect her.

Han Xuan's arrival made the eldest prince wary, and he realized that he had met a strong rival in love. The eldest prince looked at the intimate interaction between Han Xuan and Yunxi, and the fire of jealousy ignited in his heart.

When Yunxi saw Han Xuan, her eyes sparkled with surprise. The two of them talked happily, as if they had endless things to say. The eldest prince watched from the side, feeling very uncomfortable.

Han Xuan looked at Yunxi firmly and said in a steady tone: "Yunxi, I came here to take you back." Hearing this, Yunxi's heart was instantly filled with contradictions. She didn't know how to make a choice. On the one hand, her feelings for the eldest prince were deepening; on the other hand, she was always concerned about Han Xuan and Datang. However, there was Tashi between them. She didn't know how to face it when she returned to Datang.

Just when Yunxi was in a dilemma, she was determined to have an in-depth communication with Han Xuan to find out his real thoughts. At the same time, the eldest prince was unwilling to give up easily. He tried his best to show his unique charm in an attempt to win back Yunxi's heart. As a result, the intricate emotional entanglement between the three people became more and more confusing, and the direction of the story was full of endless unknowns.

Yunxi and Han Xuan agreed to meet by the lake. Han Xuan told Yunxi that his feelings for her had never changed and hoped that she could go back to Datang with him. Yunxi was embarrassed and confessed that she also had feelings for the eldest prince and did not want to hurt him. Han Xuan expressed his understanding and was willing to give Yunxi time to think about it.

At the same time, the eldest prince was also trying to win Yunxi's heart. He took Yunxi to ride horses and watch the sunset, letting her feel the beauty of Turkic. Yunxi's heart became more and more entangled, and she didn't know how to make a choice.

Yunxi stood quietly in front of the eldest prince, her eyes firm and sincere. Her voice was soft but powerful, as if every word carried her inner determination.

"Prince, I thought about it for a long time and finally decided to follow my heart. I am very grateful to you, but my heart belongs to Han Xuan." Yunxi said frankly.

A trace of disappointment flashed across the eldest prince's eyes, but he still kept smiling, "I understand your decision, Yunxi. Your freedom and happiness are the most important."

Yunxi nodded slightly, "Thank you for your understanding. I will cherish the time we spend together, but I also look forward to pursuing my own path."

The eldest prince raised his hand and gently patted Yunxi's shoulder. "You will always be my cherished friend. No matter where you are, I will always bless you."

Yunxi smiled, tears glistening in her eyes, "May we all find our own true happiness."

At this moment, the tacit understanding and respect between Yunxi and the eldest prince filled the air. Although their paths may be separated, their friendship will last forever. Yunxi turned and left, taking firm steps to follow the thoughts in his heart.

The eldest prince stood there quietly, staring at her figure gradually disappearing into the distance, with an indescribable sense of loss in his heart. However, at the same time, he was also proud of her bravery and determination.

Yunxi took Xiaowan and Hanxuan on their horses and set off on the journey home. With love for the Tang Dynasty in their hearts, they smiled at each other, with happiness shining in their eyes.

The eldest prince stood there silently, watching them walk away. In his heart, he silently sent the most sincere blessings to Yunxi, hoping that she could always maintain her courage and happiness in the years to come and live a happy and fulfilling life. Although he knew that there might be no intersection between him and Yunxi, he still hoped that she could find her true happiness.

As time went by, the eldest prince turned away and continued to devote himself to his responsibilities and mission. He understood that the road of life is always full of variables and uncertainties, but as long as he sticks to his beliefs and moves forward courageously, he will be able to create a wonderful life of his own.
