"If a good person does bad things out of ignorance, impulse or a momentary mistake, and can reflect deeply and actively correct his mistakes, then his good roots will still be there, and his future path of practice will still be bright. If a bad person can do one good thing and use it as an opportunity to gradually change his mentality and behavior, then his bad karma will be reduced and even gradually eliminated."

“Buddhism emphasizes the inner transformation and the process of practice, rather than simply the results of behavior. Whether a person becomes a Buddha does not depend on whether he has done a good or bad thing, but on whether he can persevere on the path of practice, be courageous and diligent, and finally achieve the supreme enlightenment.”

"But Buddhism also teaches us how to transform greed and turn it into a driving force for pursuing truth and benefiting all living beings. A true practitioner will not regard becoming a Buddha as a personal desire or delusion, but as a responsibility and mission, and will continue to work hard for the welfare of all living beings."
