The darkness is deepest before dawn.

The walls of the Iron Kingdom were faintly visible in the dim light.

Mifune stood on the top of the city wall, with tiny ice crystals condensing on his armor.

He gazed at the distant horizon, where the first rays of morning light had not yet pierced the clouds.

Suddenly, the ground began to tremble.

On the snowy field in the distance, a dark mass of figures surged in like a tide.

The reincarnated ninjas walked with stiff steps, their skin covered with cracks.

Danzo's figure appeared at the front of the army, and under the bandage on his right eye, his Sharingan was faintly glowing red.

Orochimaru's hoarse voice came from behind, and he licked his lips.

His golden pupils sparkled with excitement. "The warriors of the Iron Country will make excellent experimental materials."

Dou pushed up his glasses, and the lenses reflected a cold light: "How pathetic."

The members of Akatsuki were scattered on both sides of the army.

Deidara rode on the giant clay bird, playing with the detonating clay in his hands: "Hmm! Let my art give them a gorgeous funeral, hmm!"

Scorpion stood on Fei Liuhu's head, and the puppet's joints made a "ka-ka" sound: "Eternal beauty is the true art."

Kakuzu counted the ledger in his hand and snorted impatiently, "Hurry up and finish it. Time is money."

Feidan carried the bloody March sickle and laughed wildly, "Hahaha! The evil god needs more sacrifices!"

Uchiha Madara stood with his arms folded, standing on a towering rock.

He watched all this with indifference, as if he were watching a boring drama. "Is an opponent of this level worth my effort?"

He sneered, his scarlet Sharingan eyes full of disdain.

Yuxi sat on a huge rock, holding a hot bun in her hand and eating it with relish.

There was a bag of dried fish next to her, and she would pick up one and put it in her mouth from time to time.

"Well, it tastes good."

She commented vaguely, as if the war before her had nothing to do with her.

Mifune's hand pressed on the hilt of the knife, his knuckles turning white from the effort.

He took a deep breath, and the cold air filled his lungs, making his mind unusually clear.

"Archers, prepare!" he shouted.

The warriors on the city wall drew their longbows and shot arrows like a forest straight into the sky.

"put!"

With a command, a rain of arrows poured down, and the black arrows covered the sky, like the wings of the god of death.

The resurrected dead were pierced by arrows, but they continued to move forward, and their wounds healed at a speed visible to the naked eye.

"It's really useless..." Mifune gritted his teeth.

"Hahaha! It's useless, useless!" Feiduan rushed to the front waving his sickle, "Your attacks are ineffective against the immortal body!"

"Then let's fight in close combat!" Mifune drew his sword, the blade flashing like snow. "Warriors, follow me and charge!"

The city gate burst open and the warriors of the Iron Kingdom rushed out like a torrent.

Their armor gleamed in the morning light, and their blades cut through the air, making a sharp whistling sound.

The two torrents collided with each other, and the sound of metal clashing was deafening.

Mifune went straight for Danzo, his swordsmanship was as fast as lightning, and every strike was aimed at the vital points.

Danzo sneered, extending a wooden arm from his sleeve to block Mifune's attack.

"Wood Style: Violent Spear Tree!" Danzo formed a hand seal, and suddenly a huge tree sprang out from the ground, stabbing towards Mifune like a spear.

Sanchuan dodged sideways, and with a flash of the sword, the tree was cut in two.

But his arm was also cut with a bloody mark.

"Your sword is far from perfect," Danzo taunted.

On the other side, the samurai fought with the reincarnated dead.

The dead felt no pain, and the warriors' swords cut off their limbs, but it was useless and could not stop their attacks.

The blood dyed the snow red, and screams rang out one after another.

"We can't go on like this!" a young warrior shouted. "They're simply impossible to kill!"

"Then seal them!" An elderly warrior took out a talisman from his bosom and said, "Use the sealing technique!"

The warriors began to form seals, trying to use sealing techniques to restrict the movements of the dead.

But the power of Impure World Reincarnation is too strong, and ordinary sealing techniques have little effect.

Deidara's clay bomb exploded in the air, and flames engulfed dozens of samurai.

Scorpion's puppet army rushed into the crowd, blood and flesh flying wherever they passed.

Kakuzu's Earth Grudge unleashed a powerful ninjutsu, with lightning and fire intertwining into a web of death.

Hidan laughed wildly among the crowd, his scythe stained with blood.

He licked the blade with an intoxicated expression: "Ah... the evil god will definitely like today's sacrifice!"

Orochimaru stood at the edge of the battlefield, watching coldly.

His gaze swept across the battlefield, finally landing on Mifune. "The general of the Iron Country... perhaps worth collecting."

He smiled sinisterly.

Kabuto was busy controlling the actions of the dead. "Perfect puppets..." he murmured.

Mifune's breathing became heavier, and every swing of his sword seemed to exhaust his last bit of strength.

His armor had already shattered, and blood dripped down the hilt of his sword, blooming a glaring red on the snow.

"General!" A warrior stumbled to his side, his voice hoarse, "The civilians...they..."

Mifune suddenly looked up, his pupils shrinking.

At the distant city gate, unarmed civilians rushed out holding farm tools, wooden sticks, and even with bare hands.

There was no fear on their faces, only determination.

Elderly people, women, children...

The blood of the Iron Nation is burning out in the most tragic way.

"Is the Iron Country really going to be destroyed..." Mifune's voice trembled.

Yu Xi sat on the boulder and sighed softly.

She took the last bite of the bun, patted the crumbs on her hands, and stood up.

"That's enough." Her voice was not loud, but it was clearly heard throughout the battlefield.

The dead stopped, the members of Akatsuki turned around, and even the wildly laughing Hidan restrained his expression.

Yu Xi's eyes swept over the civilians whose faces were covered in blood, and she said calmly, "They are unarmed civilians. Just knock them unconscious. There's no need to kill them."

She paused. "This country still needs to operate. It cannot lack productivity and labor."

The battlefield fell into a brief silence.

Mifune was stunned.

He looked at Yuxi, and an indescribable emotion flashed in his tired eyes.

Finally, he slowly knelt down, resting his forehead on the blood-stained snow.

"Thank you for your...kindness." His voice was low and hoarse.

He knew the war was already lost.

The warriors of the Iron Kingdom were defeated, but the country...

It's not over yet.

He slowly drew out the small knife from his waist, the blade shining coldly in the morning light.

"General! No!" the people in the distance exclaimed.

Mifune didn't look back.

His gaze passed across the battlefield and looked towards the towering walls of the Iron Kingdom, the glory that he had sworn to defend with his life.

"The Iron Kingdom...is now in your hands."

The blade sank into his abdomen and blood gushed out.

His body slowly fell down like a collapsing mountain.

The people's cries were heartbreaking, and some people fell to their knees.

Someone was pounding the snow, tears of grief and anger mixed with blood flowing.

Orochimaru watched all this coldly, a sarcastic arc curling up at the corner of his mouth: "What a senseless sacrifice."

Danzo snorted coldly, "You should have realized that resisting Master Yuxi would only lead to your own destruction."

Pein stood on a high place, his eyes reflecting the devastated battlefield, and his voice was indifferent: "This war should not have happened."

Yuxi didn't look at Sanchuan's body again.

She turned and left, her back looking particularly lonely in the morning light.

"Let's clean up the mess," she whispered. "This country... is still useful."

"She seems to have changed a lot." Uchiha Madara looked at Yu Xi's back and thought to himself

The wind swept across the snowy plain, carrying the smell of blood, and the flag of the Iron Kingdom slowly lowered on the top of the city wall.
