Inside the conference hall of the Iron Country, the air was so heavy that one could almost squeeze water out of it.

The candlelight flickered on the iron lampstand, lengthening and shortening the shadows of the people, just like their wavering emotions at the moment.

Raikage Ai stood at the end of the long table, the shadow cast by his huge body covering almost half of the room.

Darui stood behind him, his usually lazy expression now tense.

"Everyone knows the situation," the Raikage's voice exploded in the room like thunder. "The Goddess of Taijutsu, Yuxi, has gathered all the tailed beasts and taken control of the Akatsuki organization. She plans to launch the Fourth Shinobi World War and unify the ninja world. What do you think?"

On both sides of the long table, the five Kage and their guards had different expressions.

Ohnoki was suspended in his seat, his wrinkled face expressionless.

Kurotsuchi stood behind him, tapping his fingers nervously on the back of his chair.

Terumi Mei's fingers, painted with bright red nail polish, tapped lightly on the table, and Chojuro nervously pushed his glasses up.

Gaara sat quietly, Temari and Kankuro standing behind him, exchanging worried glances.

Minato Namikaze's dazzling golden hair was particularly eye-catching in the candlelight, and Tsunade beside him had her hands crossed in front of her chin.

Kakashi leaned lazily on the back of his chair, but the only eye that was exposed was his right eye, sharp as a knife.

Jiraiya stood by the window, and unusually, he did not record any material, but instead stared out the window in a daze.

The silence lasted too long, and Mei Terumi finally spoke, her voice trembling slightly: "What...what should we do?"

"What else can we do?" Raikage slammed his fist on the table.

The heavy wooden tabletop immediately cracked into spiderweb-like patterns. "Of course we should unite and resist! Are we going to just sit there and wait for her to eliminate us one by one?"

"Resistance?" Tsunade sneered, her golden twintails swaying as she raised her head. "Lord Raikage, have you forgotten what happened in the Hidden Cloud Village?"

The temperature in the room seemed to drop a few degrees.

Everyone heard the news - half of the Hidden Cloud Village was destroyed by Yu Xi in five minutes.

Minato took over the conversation, his voice terrifyingly calm: "According to Konoha's intelligence, the power of the Taijutsu God Yuxi is enough to destroy the world."

He looked around, "Therefore, the Leaf Village has decided not to resist and simply surrender."

This sentence was like a detonating fuse, causing an uproar in the conference room.

"What?!" The Raikage's roar almost shattered the glass. "Yondaime Hokage, are you crazy? Are you going to give up the dignity of a ninja just like that?"

Jiraiya suddenly turned away from the window, his face more serious than ever before: "Raikage, this is not a question of dignity. Anyone with a discerning eye knows that resistance means death."

Tsunade picked up a glass of water and drank it, then said solemnly: "Do you remember the meteorite disaster that happened in the ninja world two or three years ago? It was caused by Yuxi, and Minato personally asked Yuxi about it, and Yuxi herself admitted it."

There was dead silence in the conference room.

Even the usually hot-tempered Raikage was speechless, with cold sweat oozing from his forehead.

"This...this is impossible..." Mei Terumi murmured, her bright red lips trembling slightly.

Gaara's sand gourd vibrated slightly, revealing his inner turmoil: "If this is true, then we are indeed facing an unprecedented threat."

Ohnoki closed his eyes, his wrinkles deepening. "Resistance... is truly pointless."

He opened his eyes and looked directly at the Raikage, "Your village, and who caused your injuries? Don't you have any idea?"

"Within five minutes, Yuxi destroyed half of the Hidden Cloud Village. You couldn't even hurt Yuxi with your full-strength attack. What qualifications do you have to talk about resistance?"

"You!" The Raikage's face turned from red to blue, and then from blue to white.

Darui took a worried step forward: "Lord Raikage..."

"Shut up!" the Raikage roared. "Are you just going to give up like this? Hundreds of years of tradition in the ninja world, the balance of the five great nations, are you just going to hand it over like this?"

Mifune suddenly stood up from his samurai seat, his movements swift and decisive.

His voice was deep and powerful, carrying an undeniable majesty: "The Iron Country will stand with the Hidden Cloud Village. The dignity of a samurai cannot be trampled upon!"

These words exploded in the conference hall like thunder, and everyone's attention was drawn to him.

Ohnoki sat in his seat with a scornful smile on his face.

He slowly shook his head and sneered, "A warrior's dignity? Mifune, those fancy swordsmanship of yours isn't even a show in front of Yuxi. She can easily destroy the entire Iron Kingdom!"

Ōnoki's words were like a sharp sword, piercing Mifune's heart.

Mifune was not intimidated by his words, but instead became more resolute in his stance.

He glared at Ohnoki with his eyes wide open.

He responded without showing any weakness: "At least we dare to resist! Unlike some people, who have lived too long and lost their backbone!"

This sentence obviously angered Ohnoki, and his face became gloomy in an instant.

At this moment, Kurotsuchi suddenly jumped out from behind Ohnoki.

Her voice was sharp and piercing. "What did you say? You old man should be killed by a meteorite!"

"Stop arguing!" Mei Terumi stood up abruptly, the Mizukage's aura at full force. "Now's not the time for internal strife! What we need is a solution, not accusations!"

Temari unfolded her three-star fan and said coldly, "Solution? Facing a monster like that, what other solution is there besides surrender?"

Kankuro's puppet trembled slightly: "Sister, don't say that..."

"So what do you say we should do?" Temari turned to her brother. "Let the children of Sand Village die?"

Gaara raised his hand to stop their quarrel, his voice calm but firm: "We need more information. What is Yuxi's purpose? What will she do after unifying the ninja world? If it is just a change of rulers, and it can bring peace..."

"Peace?" the Raikage interrupted sarcastically. "You call that peace? Living in fear?"

Minato sighed: "Raikage, I understand your anger, but please think about it, if you resist, what will the price be? The destruction of the entire ninja world?"

"That's better than being a slave!" the Raikage roared.

Jiraiya nodded, "Perhaps she will bring order where it never was."

"Order?" The Raikage sneered, "Are all the people in Konoha brainwashed?"

Kakashi finally spoke, his voice lazy but every word piercing: "Lord Raikage, are you so excited because Yuxi was the first to destroy the Hidden Cloud Village? Or is it that you can't accept the fact that the power you are so proud of is nothing compared to her?"

The Raikage's chakra suddenly burst out, and blue electric light surrounded his body: "Hatake Kakashi, do you want to die?"

Darui hurriedly grabbed the Raikage and said, "Sir, calm down!"

The meeting fell into chaos and quarrels broke out one after another.

Ōnoki floated into the air, trying to control the situation; Kurotsuchi and Temari glared at each other; Chojuro nervously adjusted his glasses; Kankuro's puppet twisted restlessly; Jiraiya watched all this, sadness flashing in his eyes.
