Slowly Deep Love

Chapter 25 Crying

The wooden boards on the doors and windows were removed, and Yue Weiwei walked out, covering half of her face which was slightly red and swollen.

She had only been trapped in the room for two days, but it felt like a century to her.

Nanny Li respectfully saw them off at the door and said, "Master Li Chu, thank you for your help!"

"Master Li Chu?" Yue Weiwei silently recited the name. It turned out that he was Li Heng'an's man. He took the senior away that day. No one knew what he did to the senior.

Thinking of this, Yue Weiwei ran to the door, saw Li Chu walking away, and asked, "Madame Li, what does he do?"

"He is my uncle's personal bodyguard. He grew up with my uncle and is very skilled."

"Like Changle and Qianyue, who grew up with Minglu?"

"Yes!"

No wonder he followed Li Hengan's lead and said in a false tone when he opened the door today, "Madam Ming, I'm sorry to have frightened you."

Yue Weiwei stared coldly at the disappearing figure, then turned and went inside.

The scene of Li Chu taking Luo Zhuangzhou away kept replaying in her mind. The more she thought about it, the more worried she became, and tears were about to overflow.

"Madame Li, is there any news from Xueshan Hall today?"

"I haven't heard anything. Why is Miss concerned about Xueshantang?"

"Nothing, just asking, where are Changle and Qianyue?"

"When Master Li Chu came, they were in the kitchen. I had someone inform them to cook something rich tonight. They are busy now!"

"The food is usually quite rich."

"Miss, you have suffered a lot these past two days. Have a good meal tonight to calm your nerves."

Yue Weiwei sat in the pavilion, clearly showing her worry and uneasiness. Aunt Li was anxious and asked her, "Miss, the door is open, why are you not happy?"

"Why did he let me out?" Yue Weiwei asked suddenly, and Nanny Li paused while peeling grapes.

Could it be Master Li?

While thinking this in his heart, he said, "The misunderstanding between the son-in-law and the young lady has been resolved."

Yue Weiwei looked at Nanny Li and thought: The misunderstanding between him and me was caused by the senior. The person who tied the bell must be the one to untie it. Was it the senior who untied it?

Nanny Li was frightened by Yue Weiwei's stare, so she lowered her head and didn't look into her eyes.

But I still had some questions in my mind, so I finally mustered up the courage to ask, "Miss, the son-in-law came suddenly that day. Although he was distant from you, he rarely caused trouble. What happened that day?"

Yue Weiwei felt guilty and even her ears were burning. She lowered her head and said nothing.

"Miss, you are the master, I shouldn't ask, but you have never suffered this kind of suffering since you were a child, I am worried!"

"Madame Li, I know. I understand how you feel. I got into trouble this time. I will be more careful next time."

"Getting into trouble?!" Nanny Li's tone suddenly became heavier. After a pause, she softened her tone and asked, "Does the trouble Miss got into have anything to do with Xueshan Hall?"

"I'll go back to my room to rest." Yue Weiwei's scalp was so tight and painful that she wanted to stand up, but Nanny Li held her hand and stared at her eagerly.

She looked over and saw that in just these two days, Nanny Li's face had suddenly become older, her eyes were cloudy and tears welled up in her eye sockets.

Yue Weiwei's eyes instantly became wet.

Four eyes met, four lines of tears!

"Miss, Lord Ming and Madam Ming raised you two siblings, so you both must take good care of yourself!" Nanny Li said earnestly, with tears in her eyes.

"Minglu has brothers?"

She nodded heavily, pulled Yue Weiwei to sit down, and said, "I haven't told you this because you just woke up and lost your memory. I'm afraid you won't be able to accept it all at once."

She took out her handkerchief and gently wiped Yue Weiwei's tears, then continued, "The young lady's brother is called Ming Zhan, and he is at the frontier. He is an ambitious and idealistic man. Not long after the young lady got married, the barbarians at the frontier harassed the country again, so he left."

"Ming Zhan is a good young man who serves the motherland." Yue Weiwei felt that it was a matter of pride for Ming Lu to have a hot-blooded brother.

"Ming Zhan is so good, why didn't you tell me earlier, Madam Li? You worry too much."

"Miss, you don't know that the young master is against your marrying into the Grand Marshal's Mansion." Nanny Li sighed.

Yue Weiwei was shocked when she heard this. Ming Zhan was a man of foresight and had long anticipated that Ming Lu would not be happy.

"Then why did you let Minglu marry here?"

Nanny Li looked at her without saying a word, her eyes filled with tears again.

She was a little at a loss, thinking: Could it be that Lord Ming and Madam Ming forced her to sacrifice her daughter in order to curry favor with the powerful?

"Miss, you really have forgotten everything! It was you who insisted on getting married!" Nanny Li covered her mouth and cried softly.

Yue Weiwei was confused after hearing this. She patted her head, trying to sober herself up, and finally leaned on the table like a piece of meat.

It turns out that Minglu deserves it!

Yue sighed slightly, sat up and asked, "Why does Minglu want to marry into the Taiwei Mansion?"

"Miss, you were not happy at first and even complained to Lord Ming. Lord Ming felt sorry for you and was trying to find a solution. The next day you said you were willing to marry."

Yue fell into deep thought. Minglu's marriage had been full of twists and turns. Only she could understand her mental journey from resistance to acceptance.

In the end what happened?

Yue Weiwei sat there in silence, and Nanny Li became worried again. She gently shook her shoulders and said softly, "Miss, if you forget it, it's no big deal. Let's not think about it anymore."

"Madame Li, are you familiar with the people in Xueshan Hall?" When Yue Weiwei thought of Minglu's experience, she began to worry about Luo Zhuangzhou again, and she had to find out.

Nanny Li's mouth twitched, and she stared into her eyes with sternness and confusion: "Is it the cloth-clothed man in the painting?"

"..."

Nanny Li is a smart person and nothing escapes her eyes.

Yue Weiwei half opened her mouth, unable to speak. Finally, she closed her mouth tightly and lowered her head without looking at her.

"Miss, I know you have forgotten your husband, but forgetting cannot be an excuse for doing whatever you want. You are a married woman, and this identity cannot be changed!" Nanny Li lowered her voice, her tone full of teachings and anger.

"A married woman, I..." When Yue Weiwei heard this word, it was like falling into an abyss, with darkness all around her.

She lay on the table, covered her ears and buried her head, not wanting to listen or look at Nanny Li.

Nanny Li sat quietly by the side, looking at her without saying anything.

After a while, Yue Weiwei raised her head and happened to meet Li Ma's eyes. She wanted to hide herself again.

"Miss, you have to stay alone in an empty room and endure the bullying of that young woman. I understand your difficulties, but this is not a reason for you to fall." Nanny Li said, reaching out and touching her head.

"Your thoughts can only be hidden in your heart. I know it is a wonderful experience, but you can only enjoy it alone."

Yue Weiwei felt that Nanny Li was like a psychologist. She spoke so softly yet so powerfully. She did not call her shameless, but educated her well.

She looked up at Nanny Li and tears streamed down her face.

Nanny Li quickly took a handkerchief to wipe her tears. She reached out and held Nanny Li's hand, which felt very warm.

In this strange dynasty, she is someone who can be relied on.

Yue Weiwei threw himself into her arms, hugged her, trembling all over and crying silently.

Nanny Li was a little surprised, and quickly hugged her in her arms and patted her back gently.

"The moon was hanging on the treetops. The wind blew gently, ruffling the clouds and covering the moon. The sky was pitch black."

"The moon hangs on the treetops, the wind blows gently, blowing away the clouds, revealing the moon, and the earth is shining silver."

Nanny Li sang this melodious song again.
