Slowly Deep Love

Chapter 2: Awakening from the Transmigration

It all started when Yue Weiwei woke up.

The moment she opened her eyes, a sense of strangeness swept over her brain. There were neatly arranged long strips of wood above her head, and a verdant gauze curtain hung beside the bed. The texture was light, and the furnishings of the room could be vaguely seen through.

In front of you is a huge screen, with ink painting creating an elegant style. Pavilions and terraces are hidden among the distant mountains and clear waters, and there are also many high-quality wooden furniture that are very eye-catching.

She vaguely recalled the scene of falling down the mountain. She sat up with a start, a layer of cold sweat on her forehead. Fortunately, she was still alive!

When Yue Weiwei recalled the experience of hearing the "gurgling" sound like wheels rolling, her whole body began to tremble and her head and feet ached.

After calming herself down, she hesitantly lifted the veil and stared at the tables, chairs, shelves and screens in front of her with a puzzled look on her face.

"Where is this? If you fall down a mountain, shouldn't you be admitted to the hospital? Why am I admitted to a furniture store?"

There was someone talking outside the window. Yue Weiwei looked in the direction of the voice. The window attracted her attention and she was instantly unable to move as if her acupoints were pressed.

That's not glass, it's made of paper!

"The ancient buildings here are so lifelike!" After being shocked for a moment, she exclaimed in admiration!

Several blurry figures swayed in front of the window for a few times and then walked away. They were all holding trays with bottles, jars, bowls and dishes placed high and low on the trays.

The clothes and makeup of these figures were a bit peculiar, just like people from ancient times. Yue Weiwei became more and more confused. She called out softly, "Grandpa! Dad! Mom!"

The room was empty except for her. The figures just now had gone far away. Yue Weiwei suddenly felt lonely and lost. She couldn't help but complain: "I fell down the mountain, why is there no one around me? Grandpa and the others are too careless!"

With a creaky sound, the door was pushed open. Yue Weiwei looked over immediately and saw a strange woman walking in. She was dressed in ancient costume and had red eyes, as if she had just cried. The tray in her hand had clear wood texture and on it was an exquisite glass bowl. The handle of the spoon exposed in the bowl was a light green color, and there was wisp of hot steam rising from it.

The woman's name was Qian Yue, and she was Minglu's personal maid.

The two looked at each other. Qian Yue was overjoyed to see Yue Weiwei sitting on the bed. She turned around and rushed out, shouting, "Wake up! Wake up!"

Yue Weiwei looked confused and was about to ask her where they were and what time it was, but was startled by her ghostly reaction.

Suddenly she thought: The woman just now must be a nurse! Recalling her outfit carefully, she grinned and said to herself: "What would a doctor wear?"

At this moment, the door suddenly became lively. Several people ran over and started talking.

This is Nanny Li giving instructions to others at the door.

"Changle, Qianyue, the young lady has been in a coma for three days and needs to be nourished. Go to the kitchen to prepare. I will send someone to notify the son-in-law."

Suddenly, she remembered that the young lady and her son-in-law had a deep grudge against each other. After hesitating for a while, she called Changle and said, "You go and inform the son-in-law. I don't feel comfortable if anyone else goes!"

Yue Weiwei felt very uncomfortable, thinking that she was hallucinating. She muttered to herself, "Miss! She was in a coma for three days! Are you talking about me? Who is the son-in-law?"

She closed her eyes and pinched her thigh fiercely. "It hurts!" She gasped and cried out softly, "I was really scared today! He hit me so hard!"

Yue Weiwei held her breath and opened her eyes. The screen did not disappear, the furniture did not change, the windows were still paper-covered, and strange voices continued to be heard!

Nanny Li caught a servant who was running errands quickly and was telling him, "Go to Chengyun Courtyard to inform the Grand Marshal and his wife. Speak smartly!"

The boy nodded quickly and ran out of the yard gate.

"Master Taiwei is here!" Yue Weiwei covered his cheeks with his hands, trembling, and said in a trembling voice: "There is something wrong with my eyes. I need to feel with my hands, see with my heart, and think with my brain!"

When she touched it with her hands, she immediately grabbed the quilt and said, "This quilt is as soft and comfortable as a sponge."

Looking carefully, she took out a hand and pressed it against her heart, saying, "The room is elegant and classically decorated."

Thinking with her brain, she clapped her other hand on her head and said, "This is a theme hospital! The sense of immersion is the ceiling in the theme world!"

"Yes!" Yue Weiwei suddenly became happy. This speculation made her extremely proud.

She breathed calmly, but the doubts in her heart were not completely resolved, so she hugged the quilt and thought: How did I end up in a hospital like this?

The quilt was fluffy, and it must be like sleeping in a cloud! She kind of enjoyed this material comfort.

Suddenly I jumped up again, thinking: How much does it cost to stay here for a day? My parents have made a fortune!

Just then, Nanny Li walked into the room excitedly, took Yue Weiwei's hand, and expressed her concern: "Miss, you finally woke up. We were so worried!"

Yue Weiwei looked at the unfamiliar face and was sure that she was the "young lady", but how should she start? The sudden identity made her feel confused and she couldn't remember when she met this old lady.

"Oh!" She sighed deeply in her heart and felt that she was overthinking.

This theme hospital is good in every way, with first-class decoration and environment, first-class medical staff and makeup, fully displaying the ancient theme.

The service is so enthusiastic!

Too friendly with the patient!

Yue Weiwei pulled her hand away from Li Ma's and said, "How many days have I been unconscious? I'm so sorry to have made you worry!"

Nanny Li was a little surprised. Young lady didn't usually talk like that, but the joy in her heart overwhelmed everything, and she quickly replied, "Three days! Young lady, you've been unconscious for three days. These three days really worried me to death!"

"Old slave!" Yue Weiwei exclaimed, and instantly had a headache. She had fallen so hard! She felt that not only her eyes had problems, but also her mind was dazed and her ears were not working well.

Seeing her holding her head tightly with both hands and shaking it non-stop, Nanny Li was so frightened that she shouted to the outside of the door, "Go get the doctor! The young lady has a headache!"

"Doctor!" Yue Weiwei repeated softly. She saw that the man who called himself "old slave" had a face full of anxiety and fear, his mouth opening and closing, talking non-stop, but she could not hear a word.

"I'm done. I've contracted a strange disease." Yue Weiwei looked at Nanny Li in despair. She didn't even remember the "time travel" incident and her eyes rolled back, and she lost consciousness.

Nanny Li was so frightened that her original spirit left her body. She walked to the door tremblingly, and when she saw the huge courtyard of Qingxiang Pavilion and thought of Minglu's noble status, she forced herself to swallow the fear in her heart, and her legs and feet immediately became strong!

Matron Li asked, "Have you gone to ask for the doctor?"

The maid who was sweeping the courtyard stopped, nodded repeatedly, and said, "Jing'er just left."

"Which one is Jing'er?" Nanny Li muttered.

Although the son-in-law doesn't like the young lady, the Grand Marshal and his wife still treat her with courtesy. There are so many maids and servants assigned to Qingxiang Pavilion, and she has only lived in the Grand Marshal's Mansion for less than two months, and she hasn't gotten to know everyone yet!

"Stop sweeping the floor, go see where the doctor is." Yue Weiwei fainted again just after waking up. Nanny Li really wanted to turn into a doctor.

Changle was rushing to Yuelong Courtyard to invite her son-in-law. Just as she stepped out of the gate of Qingxiang Pavilion, she saw a figure flashing by the side of the road and heading towards Chengyun Courtyard.

She felt that he looked familiar, but she was anxious to meet the old uncle, so she didn't have time to think about it and jogged towards Yuelong Courtyard.

Changle was already sweating profusely when she arrived at Yuelong Courtyard. She took a few breaths, calmed herself, and walked steadily towards the gate, but was stopped by the guards.

"What's the matter?" The gatekeepers of Yuelongyuan were all arrogant.

Changle swallowed his anger, stretched his neck, and shouted towards the door: "My young lady has woken up, let the eldest master know!"

"The eldest master is not in Yuelong Courtyard."

Changle clenched his fists and asked knowingly, "Where is the eldest master?"

"Zhu Yu Pavilion!"

Changle covered her ears and turned around. She hated to hear these three words the most because there lived a "fox spirit" there who had bewitched her son-in-law.

It is said that Chengyunyuan is welcoming a distinguished guest. He is very famous in the Li family. His father was General Zhenyuan, who died in the battlefield more than ten years ago. He was still an infant at that time and has been dependent on his mother since he was born.

His life was miserable, but his brilliance was brilliant!

"Hengtu? You didn't go to accompany Hengying today, but came to see your uncle instead!" The Grand Marshal rebuked him jokingly.

Li Hengtu immediately bowed and said modestly, "Uncle, you are making fun of me! My third sister is your treasure. She is bedridden, and I should share your worries and accompany her more often."

The Grand Commandant's heart warmed when he heard this. He asked Li Hengtu to sit down with a smile and said, "Are you here for something today?"

"My nephew just went to Xinyao Pavilion to visit my third sister. When I got to the fork in the road, I saw that the entrance of Qingxiang Pavilion was very lively. It turned out that Madam Ming had woken up!"

"She's awake!" The Grand Marshal stood up immediately, speaking excitedly. He pointed at the housekeeper, Uncle Wang, and ordered, "Go and get the Madam, make some preparations, and go to Qingxiang Pavilion immediately."

"Uncle is concerned about the younger generation. It is a blessing for the Taiwei Mansion!"

"Minglu had been married into the mansion for less than two months, and that unfilial son had already brought in his concubine. Fortunately, Minglu was polite and dignified and did not make a fuss about it." The Grand Marshal could not calm down his anger whenever he mentioned this matter.

"Uncle, please calm down. Madam Ming is your legally married wife. You don't need to worry about the others." Li Hengtu consoled him, and the Grand Marshal felt a little relieved.

"Minglu has woken up, this is great news!" The person who came was the wife of the Grand Marshal. As the saying goes, "People feel refreshed when good things happen to them." Li Hengtu saw that she was radiant and happy, and he felt relieved for Minglu.

"Now let's go to Qingxiang Pavilion to see her." The Grand Marshal stood up and led everyone out the door.

The errand boy did not dare to stop along the way. Sweat beads appeared on his forehead and he was breathing heavily. When he was about to reach Chengyunyuan, he stopped to wipe the sweat off his face and tidied his clothes.

At this moment, he heard a noisy voice in Chengyun Courtyard. He couldn't help but stretch his head to look, and saw the Grand Marshal, his wife, and Mr. Li from the General's Mansion walking out of the courtyard gate, followed by two teams of maids, each holding a brocade box in their hands.

Is he going out to do something like this? What should he do? The boy's forehead was covered with sweat.

He immediately retreated to the side of the road with a worried look on his face, knelt down and said loudly: "My lord, my lady is well! Mr. Li is well! Madam Ming has woken up, and I came to tell you."

"We are on our way!" Master Li said as he walked.
